Hi Readers: Before we begin, I want to apologize for a couple things. First, I want to apologize for starting so late. I got distracted, and I ended up doing some things that weren't that productive (other than applying to some jobs). But now, I want to address something that you all may have seen. And those are the chapters that have most recently disappeared. Now, I am not ending this story; however, I have decided to switch how things go in the future. One of those things being the whole Antonio-Sylvie storyline that I was thinking of starting. I have instead decided not to pursue it, but I am going to pursue other stories. Thanks again for reading.

Chapter Two Hundred and Ninety-Nine
Home Sweet Home

Casey Home, Honolulu – They decided to do it much earlier than they originally planned on purpose. In fact, Gabby was barely awake at the moment; and that was due to the fact that it was currently 5:30 in the morning. And let's just say that Gabby is starting to wonder whether this really was a good idea, due to the fact that the boys were still asleep; and that was why Gabby just turned her head to look at her husband. "Remind me who's brilliant idea it was to leave the hospital at 5 am?" Matt snickered as he heard Gabby say that, while moving to look up in the mirror at his precious daughters: Bella and Sofia Casey. And boy were they precious, and very adorable. "Last time I checked, you agreed to this the night before; because we both knew we'd be up at five anyways." Gabby agreed.

Because that's been the case for the past little while, they've woken up at five due to the stress that they've been dealing with; and no, not stress related to work or anything. But rather, it was due to the new reality that they find themselves living in; a reality that finds themselves having to balance a lot: four kids, a business, and a health crisis. Yes, you've heard that right; there is now a health crisis, unrelated to what they had to deal with in the hospital. And that health crisis has a name. And it's name is COVID-19. But they still don't know much about it, even though Gabby has been clamoring to read on her iPad. "I'm just glad we left before the rush." Matt sighed. "There may be another reason why I left early." Gabby agreed as she turned her head and looked at her husband.

After all, she was confused by the statement that he just made. "And what might be that?" Matt sighed. "The Governor of Hawaii just signed an order that closed the daycares." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware of what that meant. "Oh…" Matt agreed. "And with the boys now being ten months, your mom has needed some extra hands at the house; and I am needed back at the office, and I am not going to hear anything against it." Gabby sighed as she turned her head and looked at her husband. "I hope you mean from home." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, as he most certainly was not going to be working from anywhere else. "Gabby! Are you kidding me? Our daughters just spent the past three months in hospital!" Gabby agreed with Matt.

But at the same time, Matt knew that he couldn't yell at her like that; he's just under a lot of stress and hasn't found a way to vent it yet. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you Gabby. I just…" Moving to grab her husband's hand, Gabby stroked it with her thumb and just held it for a moment. "I know, you have a lot of stress on your mind; and this is a lot to handle all at once." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before taking a breath. "Add in the fact that my mother and sister are currently living together in the house next door." Gabby looked at Matt as he said that. "Really?" Matt nodded. "Yeah, so you can already expect them to be over a lot; I already agreed with them that they can be in a bubble, so that they can always come over and help us." Gabby agreed.

But at the same time, she could tell that there's something else on his mind, which would be something related to his paternity leave, or lack thereof. "Okay, I am going to just ask you this Matt; and you can be honest with me, okay?" Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, before taking a breath as he listened to her question. "When it comes to a paternity leave, are you going to be taking one for the girls?" Taking a breath, Matt sighed as he really isn't there yet. "Listen Gabby, it's five in the morning. Like I said, I have a lot on my mind; and right now, as much as I want to talk…I have one goal. Right now, that goal is to get you and the girls home and settled. And I don't care if you've already been recovering for three months in the hospital, you are going to take it easy." Gabby agreed, nodding.

After all, she could see just how stressed her husband was at the moment, which is which is why she's okay with doing what he needs to do, and that would be to relax. "But listen, we can talk more when we're inside and in bed. Anyways, I highly doubt that we're going to get much sleep today." Gabby bit her lip, before agreeing with her husband as he said that; but she could also tell that there's a lot on her mind, stuff that they need to talk about and will talk about as soon as they're home. Because if there's one thing that Gabby knows, it's that Matt is not going to be leaving her in the dark when it comes to what's going on in his head; especially when he's still dealing with the new dosage, which explains a lot. "Matt, can I ask you a question though?" Matt agreed with Gabby, as always.

Because that's something that she never needs to ask him, whether she can ask him a question. "Always Gabby." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that and took a breath. "Is this why you decided to keep your hospital dosage of medication, rather than continue with the dosage of medication that you had when we went into the hospital?" Taking a breath, Matt sighed. "At home?" Gabby agreed with her husband, because she knew that they have a lot to talk about. And if Matt is as stressed as she thinks he is, then she knows that right now is not the best time for him to talk to her; rather, that's going to be when he's relaxed and just taking it easy. And luckily for him, he's going to get a bunch of help; especially from his mother and sister, for the reasons mentioned above.

And speaking of his mother and sister, he could clearly see them walking in the center of their driveway as he started to pull up towards it; which was why he decided to toot the horn, with the hopes of not startling them. But that didn't exactly work, as his mother and sister both jumped before turning to look at him. Seeing that it was Matt, Christie went ahead and flipped him the bird as she was not happy that he just scared the crap out of her. And he most certainly was going to hear it from his mother and sister.

Walking around his Tesla Model X shortly after parking it, Matt smiled as he made his way over to the back and looked at his mother and sister. After all, he could clearly see that they were not impressed. "Did you seriously have to do that to us Matt?" Matt smirked. "What? Can't a brother play with his sister?" Looking at her son as he said that, Nancy was not impressed. "Oh, calm down mom, I was just making sure that you guys didn't get run over when we came in with the girls." Nancy smiled as she heard her son say that. "Speaking of the girls." Gabby just looked at her. "Not a chance!" Looking at his wife as she snapped a bit, Matt took a breath and then calmly spoke to Gabby. "Gabby, breathe. Just take a breath and remember, everything's okay." Gabby agreed with her husband.

After which, she watched as Andy made his way over to her after being let out of the back. "Hey Andy." Smiling as she bent down, Gabby went to rub his head. After which, Matt looked at his sister. "Sis, can you come help me back here? I just need some help getting the bags inside, then I can do everything else." Walking over to her brother, Christie first decided to punch him as she wasn't happy. "You do that again, and I'm not coming over to help with the girls." Smirking, Matt looked at his sister. "Fine, but you're the one that's telling Violet why she can't come spend time with her cousins." Christie groaned as she heard Matt say that. "God, I hate that you can play the Violet card." Matt smirked. "And I can also play the boss card, because you're working from home missy."

Turning around to face her husband, Gabby looked at Matt. "Matt, shut up about work." Looking up at Gabby, Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as he could clearly see that she was not happy about the fact that he just spoke about work; after which, he proceeded to get the stroller out and went to open it for her. Just setting it up, Matt smiled as he looked at Christie. "Here, how about you bring this to Gabby? This can help her bring both of the girls to our room and get them all set up in the cribs that I set up yesterday when I was home bringing the first batch of stuff." Christie agreed with her brother as he said that. "Mom was actually here yesterday, doing your laundry." Matt agreed. "By the way, thanks for using a mask." Christie agreed with her brother, before smiling at him.

"Matt, the last thing we want to do is have any of those beautiful children of yours to go back to the hospital."

Matt agreed with his sister as she said that, before smiling at her as well. "Okay, listen. I know it's early, and I also know that you're going to want to go back to bed; trust me, I want to do the same thing. We were just up, and I wanted to beat the rush of people coming to the hospital. That way, we could avoid as many people as possible." Christie agreed with her brother as he said that, smiling at him. "Okay, so what can I help with?" Matt smiled. "Okay, that bag there is the dirty clothes; you can take that and put it in the laundry room. I need to take these bags." Matt then went ahead and grabbed the stroller so that he could get the girls in it, and so that Gabby could go inside and rest some more. "I can see those tired eyes." Gabby took a breath as Matt told her that, as she was tired.

But at the same time, she was also worried, which was really what he was looking at, as he walked up to the woman he loves and then wrapped his arm around her. Pressing his lips against her forehead with his mask on, Matt smiled as he looked down at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "Hey, look up at me for a minute." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, while looking up into those eyes that she loves more than anything in the entire world. "We're in this together, until the end. I promise." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before moving to tug her mask down as she wants to feel his lips on hers; doing the same afterwards, Matt smiled as he bent down and proceeded to kiss Gabby softly (while also taking things nice and slow with his wife).

"I love you Gabby."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before wrapping her arm around him and holding him close. "I love you too. Now, I need to get these girls inside, and out of the cold." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that's the case. "Just go to our room. I'll make sure to check on the boys when I'm on my way in with the last trip." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smiling as she proceeded to make her way inside the house with their girls; meanwhile, Matt made his way to the back and looked at his sister. "Oh Gabby?" Turning her head, Gabby smiled. "Yeah?" Matt smirked as he walked back over to her and gave her Andy's leach. "Can you…" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she can bring Andy inside for him. "Of course, I can." Matt smiled, nodding.

After which, he put his hand on her back and just watched as she made her way inside with the girls; he then proceeded to make his way back to their Tesla so that he could grab the rest of their things. "I can only imagine how big of a smile you have under that mask." Matt snickered as he heard Christie say that, as he most certainly does have a big smile. "Well, of course I do. I'm home with my wife and children, which is something that I've been wanting since the start of the pandemic." Christie agreed with her brother as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Well now, you're home and things are going to get much better." Matt agreed with Christie as she told him that, already well aware that's going to be the case for the simple reason that they're not as much at risk anymore.

Matteo and Noah's Nursery – Even though she knew that their boys were safe, Gabby still had to do something before she could find the heart to make her way to her and Matt's room; and that would be to take a moment and check on the boys. So that's exactly what she decided to do, as she parked the stroller right near their door and then went to take off her mask. Because at the end of the day, she's home with her boys now; and she doesn't want to scare them, which she would probably have done had she kept her mask on. Plus, she already washed her hands; so, she has no reason not to be in here, taking a quick glimpse at her sons. And that's exactly what she's in the midst of doing, as she made her way over to Matteo's crib and looked down at her beautiful son.

"Hi Matteo."

Adjusting the blanket that her son had on top of him, Gabby smiled as she was incredibly happy over the fact that she was finally home with her sons. This was exactly what she wanted, and what she needed right now; she needs to be home with her husband, and all four of her children. And even better, she's going to be here with them for a while; as she and Matt have already agreed that they're going to be working from home, even if they work. Because as much as Matt will probably want her to just take it easy, Gabby knows that she won't be able to; because she needs to work and get Casey Apparel back on track. Especially since she still isn't in the best place with Stella. But that's a conversation for another day, as she instead needs to talk to her husband this morning.

"Let me guess, you couldn't help yourself?"

Turning to face Matt, Gabby agreed with him. "Sorry I took off my mask, but…" Matt shook his head, before going to do the same thing; after all, he knows why she took off her mask. And it was so that she didn't scare the boys. "Baby, I already know why you did it; you didn't want to scare the boys." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before extending her hand and inviting the man she loves to be next to her with the boys; and without a doubt, that's exactly what Matt wanted to do as he walked into Matteo and Noah's nursery. But rather than go over to Gabby, he made his way over to Noah and looked down at his little guy. After all, he was the one he was really worried about. "You have no idea how nice it is to see him here, in his crib rather than in the hospital." Gabby agreed.

After all, that was what she wanted as well; she wants Noah to be here, in his own crib rather than be at the hospital. Especially right now, during this health crisis. And that was why she decided to make her way over to Matt, and wrap her arms around him, which then prompted him to do the same thing, as he wrapped his arm around her back and cuddled up to her while turning his head. Pressing his lips to her forehead properly this time, Matt smiled as he whispered to her. "Finally, we're home; where we belong." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as that most certainly was exactly where they were at the moment. They were home, with all four of their children. "Home with all four of our children." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that.

"And alone, with no nurses."

Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that, well aware of what he was thinking about; and that was that he wanted to be intimate with her, which she wants to do as well. She wants to be intimate with the man she loves and have him hold her close. "Well, we do have the all clear from our doctors." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, while grabbing her hand and holding her close; after which, he turned to look at the door to see his mom there. "How did I know that you guys would be in here with the boys, instead of in your room?" Matt smiled as he looked at his mom. "I mean, we had to say hi to them. By the way, how much of…" Nancy snickered. "Oh, I heard a bunch of it. But it's okay, just go ahead and get some rest. We have the boys for a while, we promise." Matt took a breath.

After which, he turned to look at Gabby. "Gabby, how about you take the girls to our room? I need to update my mom on the situation." Looking up at her husband, Gabby already knew that he was talking about. "You mean when it comes to work." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before moving his hand to the side of her head. "Sorry again." Gabby shook her head. "Just talk to her quick, then we can talk more in bed. Like we said, we're just resting with the girls in bed." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before bending down and kissing her softly. "Or something else." Gabby smirked, and agreed with the man she loves. After which, she turned around and walked out of the nursery so that she could make her way to her and Matt's bedroom.

Closing the door to Matteo and Noah's nursery after finishing in there, Matt smiled as he stood close to his mother and looked at her; after all, he had to update her on just what was going on. But first, he decided to hug her. "God, it's nice to see you in person again." Nancy agreed with her son as he said that, as she felt the same way. "I can most certainly agree. Now, what's this about you working?" Matt sighed as he looked at his mom, before leaning against the wall. "It's the pandemic mom." Nancy agreed with her son, just standing there. "Mom, it's a hard time for the company. Everybody's working from home, and I can't just let an acting CEO work on the company. I need to be there, especially when it's my own money." Nancy agreed with her son, definitely understanding that.

"I most certainly can understand that, but just take a few days and relax maybe first."

Matt thought about it and agreed with his mother. "I think that's what I'm going to do anyways. Plus, I have to do some things before I can really get back to work." Nancy was confused as she heard her son say that, until he explained. "I need to get caught up, and just see what's changed since I took leave; I need to have a bunch of meetings online, before I can really get back to work. And I am also going to concentrate on my health, since this is going to be hard on my health." Nancy agreed with her son as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Just know that we're here to help you Matt, whatever you need." Taking a breath, Matt turned his head to look at the boys' nursery. "Maybe you can take care of the boys for a bit? I need to get back into the routine, and just…" Matt's mom agreed.

"Matt, take a breath and relax. This is a learning curve for everybody, and we're going to deal with it."

Matt agreed with his mom as she said that, glad that she was already on board as to what he needs to do; especially when it comes to the boys and the company. He then proceeded to make his way over to her and hugged her. "You're the best." Nancy agreed with her son as he said that, smiling as she proceeded to rub his back and just held him close. "We're here for you Matt, never forget that." Matt agreed with her as she said that, before going ahead with reminding his mother of the same thing. "And the same goes for you mom, because you can always talk to me in you need to talk." Nancy agreed with her son as he said that, before smiling as she watched him walk away so that he can do be with his wife and daughters. "And congratulations again." Matt smiling and agreed.

Primary Suite, Casey Home – The cribs looked absolutely adorable as she stood next to them this morning, the mother wanting to just take a minute to appreciate how beautiful they are ahead of putting Bella and Sofia into them. But at the same time, she also didn't know whether Matt was even going to let her; so, she knew that she needed to do it fast before Matt said no, and that was what she was in the midst of doing right now as she walked up to Bella. "Hi, my little princess, are you ready to lay down in your crib?" Smiling as he heard Gabby say that while he walked into their room, Matt smiled at his beautiful wife. "I love the way you talk to her." Bringing Bella close to her chest, Gabby smiled as she turned to face her husband. "You are not stopping me from doing this." Matt nodded.

"I wouldn't dream of it, because I know that you've been waiting to do this for a while."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling at him. "And I've also dreamed of being with the boys again for a while, and I am so glad that we're finally back with our entire family." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, as he feels the same way; he loves that they're home, and ready to just take it easy for the rest of their lives. "I can most certainly agree. But I also know that I am not ready to just stand all the time…" Matt then proceeded to yawn. "It's still early, and I want to get back in our bed; then I can hold you there for the first time in months." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "However, we aren't having sex." Matt agreed. "Oh no, I just need to relax and take it easy. We're both tired, and ready to hold each other in our nice bed." Gabby agreed, and just smiled.

After which, she watched as her dreamy husband made his way over to their daughters so that they could put them in their cribs. "So, do we need to feed them? Or can we just put them in their cribs? Because I would like to just do that so that I can get ready to go back to sleep." Gabby was confused as she heard Matt say that, unsure of what he means. "What are you talking about?" Matt sighed. "I have to take a shower, because I need to clean off and just get ready." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Then let's get the girls in their cribs, and you can do just that." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, while also being unaware of the fact that Gabby planned on joining him in the shower this morning.
