Chapter Three Hundred and Six
Times are Changing
Halstead Primary Suite – She heard the shower when it started, and she was still hearing it as she walked into her and Jay's bedroom with Natalie; and that was something that made her worry, which Natalie could most definitely see as she walked in with Alex. "I can see that you have something in your mind." Alex sighed as she looked at her sister-in-law, as that most certainly is the truth. "Yeah, I do have something on my mind. And it's why my husband is still in the shower, when he's probably already all clean." Natalie agreed with Alex as she said that, before smiling at her as she walked over to the cribs with Alex; after which, she looked at the both of them as she wondered which one she had to set Olivia down in. "Which one is Olivia's?" Alex smiled as she pointed to Olivia's crib.
The crib that was covered with a yellow blanket. "The one with a yellow blanket, of course." Natalie agreed with Alex as she said that, before walking up to the crib and proceeding to set Olivia down; at the same time, Alex walked over to the crib that was covered with blue blankets so that she could set Michael down. And that was exactly what she did, she set Michael down in his crib so that he can take a nap. Because that's exactly what she wants her kids to do, to take a nap so that she can concentrate on their father for a while. "Do you want us to give you some time?" Alex agreed with Natalie. "I have a feeling that me and Jay are going to need it, and that there's a reason why I can't find Max. Heck, he's probably in the washroom with Jay; because he's stress, and Max can feel it."
Natalie agreed with Alex as she said that, still in awe over what service dogs can do for veterans. "I swear, I am still in awe of what service dogs can do for those with PTSD." Alex agreed with Natalie as she said that, as that most certainly is the truth. "I am so impressed by Max, and I am more than happy to have him in our life." Natalie agreed with her sister-in-law as she said that. "Well listen, I am going to go spend some time in my own room and just relax." Alex laughed as she heard Natalie say that. "You just don't want to hear us in the shower." Natalie shook her head as she heard Alex say that. "Oh, that most certainly is the truth. Now listen, how about I am going to get out of here; and then I will let you concentrate on your husband right now." Alex agreed with Natalie.
After which, Natalie walked up to her and proceeded to hug her. "I am so glad that we spoke, because it just felt so great that we were able to get that all out there." Natalie agreed with Alex as she walked up to her, before grabbing her hands. "Hey, we're sisters Alex. That's forever. If you need to talk to me, but don't feel like you can talk to Jay; then you tell me, and we'll talk. Got it?" Alex agreed with Natalie as she said that, before going to hug her sister. "God, I love you." Natalie agreed with Alex as she said that. "And I love you too, as a sister; and it's so nice that we're all here." Alex agreed with Natalie as she said that. "Just promise me that you keep your husband on a leach, because I don't want our husbands to fight; then we might have to kick you out, as this is our home."
Natalie agreed with Alex once more, as she most certainly knows that she and Will would be the one to leave if things get a bit tense in between the four of them; plus, it makes sense since this is Jay and Alex's home. "And me and Will wouldn't expect anything less, due to the fact that this is your home. Now listen, I am going to get out of here so that you can go spend a bit of time with your husband." Alex agreed with Natalie as she said that, as that most certainly is something that makes her happy. "Thanks Natalie." Natalie agreed with Alex as she said that, and just smirked due to the fact that this really is everything that they both want; they both want to have a great friendship between the both of them. And that's exactly what Alex and Natalie have, a really great friendship.
But right now, Alex doesn't want to spend time with her sister; rather, she wants to spend some time with her husband. And that's the exact reason why Natalie just let go of Alex's hand and walked out of their room. That way, she can go be somewhere else; somewhere that isn't in their room, where Alex plans on taking a shower with her husband. I mean, why wouldn't she take the chance when she gets it? Her husband is a real hunk, and Natalie would have to be blind to deny that isn't the truth; but that doesn't mean that she wants to be with Jay, as she loves Will. And even better, they're expecting a child together, which is something that she's really happy about, because she can't wait to be a mom. And while she loves being an aunt (and surrogate mother), but she wants to be a mom.
More specifically, she wants to be a mom to her own child; and that's exactly what she's going to be soon, but not as soon as Alex is going to be with the man she loves. Because Alex is already in the midst of getting undressed so that she can join the man she loves in the shower, as she closed the door behind her. The door that was the only thing that was going to be separating their room from the outside world for a while; and she's more than okay with that, as she's more than content with spending some quality time with Jay. But first, she needs to get into the washroom (and the shower) where Jay is; as that's where he wants her to be, even if he didn't tell her that. She just knows her husband that well, because he always wants to be in the shower with her; if they have a chance to do it.
If they have a chance to take a shower together, then they will do just that; but only after Alex gets undressed, which is exactly what she was in the midst of doing as she made her way towards the bathroom. And god, the sight of her man in the shower is already perfect from the moment she walked into the bathroom (while also undoing her shirt); which is really his shirt, because she loves wearing his clothes. Another thing she loves? When she gets a chance to stare at Jay and tease him. And that most certainly is exactly what she's going to do as she walked over to the hamper, and then threw his shirt in it; but there was one thing that she wasn't going to take off, and that would be her underwear. And there's a reason for that, which would be that she wants Jay to take them off.
God, the feeling of Jay taking off her underwear is always the best feeling; especially since it means that Jay touches her down there, which is something that she always loves the feeling of. And that's why she's actually rushing this. She's rushing to get in the shower, because she doesn't want Jay to get out ahead of her getting in with him; and unfortunately, she was right to worry. And that was due to the fact that Jay is in the midst of reaching for the tap. "You touch that tap, and then you don't get this." Turning to face Alex, Jay smirked as he saw her standing at the vanity in nothing but her underwear; and damn, was that sexy. "And what do we have here?" Alex smirked as Jay asked her that question. "Your wife, wanting her husband in the shower." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that.
After which, he went to put the heat back to the place where they both like it. "Well then, maybe I shouldn't shut off the water." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before smiling as she walked over to the shower; after which, she looked at Jay as he admired her body. "Uhm, Alex…I think you forgot to take something off." Looking down, Alex shook her head. "Nope, I think I took everything off that I needed to take off." Jay then realized what Alex wanted, and smiled as that most certainly is something that he can do for her; and it's what he's going to do for her right now, as she walked up to the door of the shower. Meanwhile, Jay stood at the door and wrapped his arm around her while putting his hand on her butt; after which, he squeezed it as a way to tease her.
And let's just say that made her jump, just like it always does. "JAY!" Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that. "Oh, shut up, you love it when I do that." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, as she most certainly does. "Oh, you know I do." Jay smiled as he heard Alex say that, while going to grab her underwear; after which, he tugged her body close to his and wrapped his arm around her waist. Meanwhile, Alex put her hands on his face and leaned in to kiss him softly. "I love you." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before smiling at her. "And I am so glad that you came in here, because it means that we can start talking." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, while also moving her hand to the side of his face; at the same time, she felt Jay take off her underwear for her.
He then bent down and smirked as he went to pick them up, which then led to him throwing them towards the hamper; and as always, he got them right where he wants them to be. "Nothing but net!" Alex shook her head as she heard Jay say that, before getting close to her man; after which, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him softly. "I love you." Jay agreed with Alex as she told him that she loves him, before telling her the same thing. "I love you too Alex, forever." Alex smiled as she heard Jay say that, before watching as he picked her up in his arms and wrap her legs around his waist; afterwards, he put his hands on her back and turned around so that he could bring his beautiful wife into the shower with him. "Now, this is something I like this morning."
Wrapping her arms around Jay's neck, Alex agreed with him; while at the same time, Jay brought Alex towards the wall and pushed her against it (just like she wanted). "And I had a feeling that you would, which is why I came in here; especially since you've been in here for a while." Taking a breath, Jay sighed as he had a feeling that was the real reason why Alex was in here in the first place; not that he's really complaining, as he loves that Alex is in the shower with it. It's exactly what he wants, and it means that they can just take it easy and relax as they hold each other close. "I just have a lot on my mind right now." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, while also leaning in and proceeding to kiss the man she loves more than anything. "I had a feeling that was the case." Jay sighed.
After which, he moved to set Alex down and moved his hands to her hips; and that was due to the fact that he thought that it was what he should do, since he thought that Alex might be mad at him. "You mad at me?" Looking at her husband as he asked her if she was mad at him, Alex put her hands on his chest and shook her head; as that was the last thing that she was, mad at him. Rather, she just knew that he was worried for their health. "Jay, you're worried for our health. That's what a husband and father does, so I will never be mad at you for that." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that. "And it's also due to the new changes at the company. I just read an e-mail about how they are changing titles." Alex was confused as she heard Jay say that. "What are you talking about?"
Jay sighed. "Matt's title changed from Chief Executive Officer to co-Chief Executive Officer. Apparently, he and Rafael are going to share the duties of being the CEO for the pandemic." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that. "I'm glad that they've decided to do that, as I know that Matt's been under a lot of stress." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that. "But can we not concentrate on him? As I would much rather concentrate on each other." Alex agreed with Jay as he asked her if they can concentrate on the two of them, before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him softly. "We most certainly can." Kissing his beautiful wife again, Jay smirked as he moved his hands to her back and then stepped close to her; after which, he bent down and kissed her shoulder softly.
Smiling as she felt Jay do that, Alex ran her hands down his toned chest because that was exactly what she wanted him to do; and that was due to the fact that he's extremely sexy, and very muscular. And for them to have done that is perfect. "God, I love it when you do that Jay." Jay agreed with his wife and smiled. "I want you in lingerie when we're in bed." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that. "And what do I get in return? Because you have to give me something in return." Jay agreed, before smiling at Alex as he leaned in and kissed her softly. "Which do you want? Sweats or boxers?" Alex smiled as Jay asked her that. "Boxers, and your hands all over me."
Now this outfit that his beautiful wife was wearing for him most certainly will get her exactly what she wants, his hands all over her; because she looks absolutely sexy in it, and it turns him on so much. And that was the exact reason why she was currently sitting on the counter in their bathroom, rather than have her standing on the ground; as Jay wanted to have her at eye level, as he ran his hands around her body and admired her gorgeous body. And god, is she just the most delicious thing in the entire world as she wears this for him; especially when it comes to him wanting to kiss her body, her neck in particular as it makes her moan. "Oh Jay." Smirking as he heard Alex moan, Jay leaned back and looked at his beautiful wife. "I can only assume that you like this?" Alex agreed with Jay.
"Oh, you know that I love this; and I will always love this feeling, because I absolutely love the feeling of my husband's strong hands all over my body. I mean, be honest with me Jay; did you really not know that I love it, when you have your hands all over my body?"
Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that, before stepping close to her again and leaning in to kiss her softly; taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Jay smirked due to the fact that he wants to do something. He wants to pick her up in his arms, and then he'll carry her to bed; because that's exactly what Alex wants him to do right now, carry her to bed. So, that's exactly what Jay's going to do; pick his wife up in his arms and carry her to their bed. "Well, I like the feeling of you picking me up like this." Jay agreed with Alex as he wrapped her legs around his waist, before wrapping his arm around her back; at the same time, Alex wrapped her arms around his neck so that she could stay safe in his arms. And god, does she love being in his arms as he always makes her feel safe.
Just being in Jay's arms makes Alex know that everything's going to be okay, which is something that she wants to (and will) have for the rest of her life. She's going to be in Jay's arms for the rest of her life, as that's how long she plans on being married to her hunk. Because as much as he makes her mad at times, she also knows that she loves him too much to ever leave him; but that doesn't mean that she's not going to accept him apologizing to her. "Alex, I want to apologize for not waking up this morning." Leaning back, Alex looked at Jay. "Jay, it's okay." Jay shook his head as Alex say that, as it wasn't okay. "No, it isn't. And we're going to talk about it when we're in bed; because I want to make sure that we're in a good place." Putting her hands on Jay's face, Alex held him close.
After which, she leaned her forehead against his as she started to get a bit worried. "Jay, do you think we're in a bad place right now?" Jay sighed. "I just don't want to be fighting, or in a big disagreement with you; when we're in the middle of a health crisis, which means that we're going to have to spend a lot of time together." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, as that makes sense. After all, they will be doing just that for a while. "I understand that Jay, and I promise that we're going to talk when we're in bed with each other; because that's where I want to be when I talk to you about this." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, as he felt the same way; he wants to be in bed as they talk about everything that they have on their minds, which they will always do when they need to.
To say that Jay likes the sight of Alex in their bed would be an understatement, because fuckin' loves the sight of his gorgeous wife in their bed; the bed where he gets a chance to make love to her when they're alone, and where he always gets a chance to hold her each and every night. And, of course, whenever they want to be alone with each other in bed; just like they want to be right now, alone and with each other in bed. But there was something else that Jay wanted, and that was to kiss his wife, which is why he climbed into bed with her, and laid down next to her rather than sit up against his pillow. "Jay, what are you doing?" Smirking, Jay proceeded to close the covers on top of his waist and then got close to Alex. "Oh, just what you want." Alex was confused.
Well, until she felt Jay wrap his arms around her back and hover on top of her; after which, she reached up and proceeded to put her hands on his neck. "Oh, now that's exactly what I want you to do right now." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before bending down and smirking as he started to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I had a feeling that was the case." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before leaning up and just taking things nice and slow with her gorgeous husband; the man she loves more than anything in the entire world, whom she's extremely proud to call her man. "God, I am so proud that I get to call you my husband." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, before bending down and kissing her again.
After which, he moved his hand to her back and just continued to take things nice and slow with his gorgeous wife. "God, I am so glad that this is what we're doing; it really calms me down, and just takes a bunch of the stress away." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before taking a breath and looking at the man she loves. "Can you roll over onto your back Jay? I think we both know that we need to talk about what you just said." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case; after all, he did say something that can easily bring up worries for her. So, he did exactly what Alex wanted him to do. And that would be to lay down on his back, so that Alex could lay down on it; and boy was that exactly what she did, as she didn't waste any time in getting on his chest.
And Jay already knew why that was the case, and it was due to the fact that this is her favorite place; she always loves to lay down on his chest and cuddle up to him like this. Moving his hand to her back, Jay smiled as he ran his hand up and down her back and smirked as he felt her shiver; and that was due to the fact that his wedding band was running up and down her spine, which she adores. "You like the feeling of my wedding band on your spine?" Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, because she most certainly does like the feeling of his wedding band on her spine. "Oh, I will always love the feeling of that gorgeous wedding band on my spine." Jay smiled as he heard Alex say that, well aware that was the case. "Why do you think I always do that for you?" Alex agreed with her husband.
At the same time, she cuddled up to Jay some more and put her hand on the top of his chest; turning his head at the same time, Jay kissed her forehead while also moving his fingers through her hair and just holding her close. "Do you want to talk to me about something Alex?" Taking a breath, Alex sighed. "I guess, I am just wondering how we're going to do the pandemic." Running his fingers through her hair again, Jay turned his head and looked down at the woman he loves. "Here's how we're going to get through it. Together, as husband and wife; and as parents." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that, well aware that was the case. After all, there's no other way for the two of them two get through it other than as a family. "Alex, we're going to be safe." Alex agreed with Jay.
After all, Jay always keeps them safe. "And I can believe you when you say that, because you always keep our family safe; it's one of the major things that I love about you Jay, just how much you keep us safe." Turning his head, Jay looked down at Alex. "That's because it's my job as your husband, and as the twin's dad. Alex, I am your husband, and Michael and Olivia's dad; those are the jobs that really mean the world to me, and I will always pout those jobs ahead of any other job that I have. And you need to tell me if you don't feel like I'm going to do that, because I will change." Alex shook her head, as that's the last thing that she wants. "No Jay, I don't want you to change; not when I love how caring you are, and I mean it when I say that because you really care for our friends."
Jay agreed with Alex as she said that. "By the way, I've been meaning to tell you something." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before turning her head and looking up at him. "What is it?" Jay smiled as he turned his head and looked down at Alex. "I spoke to Adam, Kim, and Atwater. They all promised me that they are going to keep an eye on Hank for us, and that they are going to let us know the truth about his health; you know your dad, he's not going to tell us the real truth." Alex laughed as she heard Jay say that, as that most certainly is the truth; and as much as she doesn't want it to be the truth, she knows that it is the truth. "We aren't inviting him down here, because I won't be able to deal with him; I am just telling you that right now Alex." Alex laughed and agreed.
After all, she knew that there was no chance that he was going to let her invite her dad here to Hawaii; not after all the damage he's caused to her, and their future. "I know, and I am not ready to let him back into my life." Jay agreed with his wife as she said that, before moving his hand to her back; after which, he turned his head and kissed her forehead as Alex ran her finger down his chest. Tracing it, Alex took a breath as she went to ask Jay a question. "I'm doing the right thing, right Jay?" Looking down, Jay agreed with Alex as she most certainly is doing the right thing when it comes to shutting her father out of their life. Because in his mind, he hasn't earned their trust back. "Alex, he hasn't earned our trust back yet; so, we have every right to keep shutting him out." Alex agreed.
After all, that was something that they both already agreed on; that they would keep shutting him out, until they were both ready to talk to him. "At least we have somebody that we can still talk to who's in contact with my dad." Jay was confused as he heard Alex say that, before turning his head and looking down at the woman he loves. "Who?" Turning her head to look up at Jay, Alex smiled. "Benson. She talks to my dad on my behalf, and she'd always call me. I think she wants to be a mediator for the both of us." Jay agreed with Alex, as he likes that idea; after which, he bent down and kissed her softly. "I love you, and you are such a smart one." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that she's a smart woman…especially when it comes to choosing husbands.

Jay smiled as he heard Alex say that, while running his hand up and down her back; after which, he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I love you too Jay, forever." Jay smiled as he and Alex just continued to hold each other close right now, because it's exactly what they both want to do this morning; they want to hold each other close, as they cuddle up to each other and just take it easy. In fact, it wasn't too dissimilar to what Matt and Gabby were in the midst of doing right now.
