A world with quirks means its people are wind up rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Mina Ashido is a vivacious hero in training. 14. Ikkaku

A.N. — Now, from the parents of a unicorn-horned kid, to... a different unicorn kid! My first foray into the Team-Up Missions manga, to boot! This is also the first drabble where I wrote way too much to start with and had to do some serious trimming.

14. Ikkaku

Awesome is what Ikkaku strove for. From his cool haircut to pranking in order to stay the center of attention, Ikkaku played up all aspects of himself... except his quirk.

Heroes were all so awesome, with their strong quirks and cool outfits. But his own was just a horn spiraling out of his head — it stood out, but didn't do anything.

But then Tailman and Invisible Girl arrived, and disabused him from that line of thinking. He had a big tail; she literally see-through. Yet they were training their "plain" powers into Heroic capabilities. Ikkaku resolved he could, too.
