Aisha's POV:

It had been a few hours since we left Magnolia and we had entered the Northern reaches of Fiore, the weather here was drastically different than Magnolia. It was bitterly cold, I had my mask pulled up to cover my face to shield it from the winter wind. The snow was lashing down and we had been forced to trek on foot. This would take significantly longer than using my magic but my magic would be much less effective here and we're approaching some of the Twelve so we need to move stealthily to avoid detection until the last possible moment.

My squad and I weren't used to weather like this and as a result we were all struggling here, our footsteps sinking into the deep snow. We needed to get to shelter quickly, hopefully the worst of the storm would go away by morning. I couldn't even use my sand to sense what was in front of us, we were blinded by the snow and couldn't use our sand magic for anything. This was another stupid decision by me to go North, I should've gone east to challenge August or South to fight Dimaria. I just hope Ajeel is ok, the Dragonslayers were tough but Erza could probably defeat me. They aren't murderers though, I hope Ajeel hasn't killed anyone.

We walked past a snow covered mountain and down a path, there has to be a cave or something nearby that we can hold up in until the storm subsides. Before I had any chance to look for somewhere, something appeared in the distance. There was a squad of about ten people approaching us, as we walked towards them I saw their armour and knew exactly who and what they were. They were from the Northern Invasion Force, they were Tribesmen. Those bastards were involved in the Northern invasion and I would savour destroying as many of them as possible.

Before they approached I went to Laila, one of the members of my squad.

"Have you still got that scroll that we can summon those swords with? We need them now." I stood next to her as our squad halted.

"Yes princess, here." Laila pulled out the scroll, and summoned six scimitars. I took them and handed them out amongst my squad. I left one for myself and put it in my waistband, we'd look suspicious if we were just carrying them. We were going to have to talk for our lives here, we can probably still beat them, but we were going to have to avoid using magic and hope they're too weak to pose a serious threat.

We walked forward and when the Tribesmen were in front of us they didn't pull out their weapons right away. One of them stepped forward, a great big man with a large gray beard and a bald head. He was dressed entirely of fur but had much of his body exposed, typical fucking barbarians.

"Who are you? What are Hijaarans doing here, I thought all of you were in the Vanguard with those bastard twins?" I stepped forward to face this man, thank Mai-at I had my mask on. The Tribespeople hated Ajeel and I. We had killed thousands of them during the war, and when we invaded their lands with the Empire.

"We were in the Vanguard but Aisha Alyamani sent us North to assist with whatever the Northern forces needed, she went straight for their guild hall and we were sent before Ajeel attacked Magnolia." I looked over at the stern faced man to see his reaction.

"That bitch sent you North, she's a stupid Hijaaran whore but she's not that stupid. I don't believe you, I think you're deserters. There is still a service you can give us, we're going to drag you back to our camp and pass you around the men. It is the only thing Hijaarans are good for!"

The man drew his greataxe and swung it at me, I managed to dodge it but he hit me with the back of his axe sending me flying back. He thankfully missed me with the blade itself. I pulled out my sword as the rest of my squad did. They began to fight with the men and I ran towards the man from before. I swung my sword intending to take his head off but he blocked it with his axe. With his free hand he swung it at me and I moved my head out of the way.

I threw my head forward and connected with a headbutt to his nose, I heard the cracking of bones as I broke his nose. I flipped away trying to avoid getting bogged down in the snow as much as possible. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Laila thrust her sword straight through the chest of one of them as she was being attacked by two.

"Squad, use your magic. I'll allow it, we cannot be detected by the rest of these savages!" The leader of the tribesmen stepped forward and was clearly in bloodrage, he brought down his axe one me with fury. I stepped out of the way and brought down the blade on the handle and the steel cleaved through several of his fingers and down to his wrist. Making his right hand a bloody mangled mess. He dropped his axe in agony and with his left hand he managed to catch it and swung it sideways towards me, I dropped onto my back to dodge it and sunk into the snow struggling to move out.

He swung his axe back up and tried to bring it down on my head, I moved my head out of the way and when he tried to bring it down on me for the killing blow I forced my blade into his stomach. He physically recoiled and I twisted the blade in his gut. I forced myself up as he dropped his axe, losing the strength to hold it at all. I pulled the blade out and swung it at his neck, cleaving his head off as the blood splattered everywhere. His head landed in the soft snow and the tribesmen remaining looked at me in shock.

"Squad Aisha, kill all the survivors. No one else can know we are here or why we are here." I lunged forward and pushed my sword into another of the soldiers, pressing the blade deep into his chest. My squad wiped out the reminder of the patrol and we stood victorious against the Tribes again.

"We need to get some shelter, and get away from here in case there are any more of these bastards around. We will get some rest and afterwards, we will head out to assist the Fiorian guilds. Hopefully the Fairy Tail team will be arriving soon. We will find a cave and seek shelter, we will rotate lookouts. If we see any allies we will direct them to the caves so we can plan our attack.
