Hi Readers: What did you guys think of the first chapter I posted today? Well, I hope you like it; but now, I am going to be doing something different. And that would be to check in on another couple, and how they're dealing with the pandemic. Thanks again for reading, and I hope you continue to enjoy the story. Now, here we go with a chapter about Ryan & Sarah Miller. Sorry for the delay.
Chapter Three Hundred and Twelve
The Start of COVID with The Reese Family
Waialae Kahala – He was currently in the midst of walking Rosie, his and Sarah's new Golden Retriever; the dog that they recently adopted after the tragic death of their former dog Riley, which (unfortunately) happened just two weeks before Valentine's Day. And that was why Ryan made sure that he treated his wife to a really nice (and romantic) Valentine's Day, which he most certainly did; and let's just say that Ryan got really lucky that day. So lucky, that there was just something in his heart that something has changed between them; but the change was good, because it may mean that they are both open to starting a family (even though they've yet to really talk about it). And that thing would be a baby of their own, because he most certainly does want to have a baby with her.
Specifically, he'd love to have a baby girl; a daughter whom he can treat as his princess, just like he already does with his wife. But that's what every dad says, don't they? But Ryan really does mean it, because he doesn't want a son yet; rather, he wants to have a son as their second child. A son to carry on his last name, because then their family will be complete; because if there was on thing that he already knew, it was that he wanted to have two children and nothing more. He wanted a daughter, and then he wanted as on. A daughter to love and cherish, and a son to carry on his name; but at the end of the day, any children that make him a father will make him the happiest dad in the entire world. Probably just as happy as his friend Luke, as he saw him on his front porch.
But Luke wasn't alone on his front porch, as he had a special little girl in his arms; a special little girl named Amelia, whom he already knows that Luke is probably really happy that he gets to have more time with during the pandemic. So, that's probably one of the benefits that come with him having to stay home. "So, I can only assume that you're not that mad that you have to stay home with that little girl right there." Turning his head as he heard Ryan speak to him, Luke snickered as that most certainly was the truth. If there was one thing that he was happy about, it was that he was home here with his little girl. "So, where's Sarah this morning?" A bit confused, Ryan looked at his friend before making a joke. "Wait, which Sarah?" That being a joke, as Luke is also married to a Sarah.
But unlike Ryan, he didn't exactly find his joke all that funny. "Haha, really funny Ryan. I am not worried about where my wife is, because I already know where she is; she's upstairs sleeping in, as we rotate which day we take care of Amelia in the morning. Plus, this little girl here had some problems last night." Ryan agreed with Luke as he said that, hating that she wasn't feeling good. "Just not feeling good?" Luke agreed. "Nothing serious, as we've been keeping safe." Ryan agreed with Luke as he said that, as he had no doubt in his mind that he was keeping his daughter safe. "Oh Luke, you have no reason to worry about that; as I already know that you're going to keep that princess of yours safe." Luke agreed with Ryan as he said that, smiling as he looked at Amelia today.
He then kissed the side of her head, and just smiled as he was really happy; but at the same time, he knew that he had to ask Ryan a question. "By the way, how are you guys doing? Did you guys take time after you lost, uhm…" Ryan then proceeded to remind Luke of their old dogs' name. "Riley." Luke agreed with Ryan as he said that. "Sorry about forgetting her name." Ryan shook his head as he heard Luke say that, as that most certainly was okay. "Hey, you have enough on your mind; we both know that you just need to take it easy, and you need to relax." Luke laughed as he heard Ryan say that, before smiling as he turned his head and kissed Amelia's forehead. "Oh, that's exactly what me and Sarah are doing as we spend a bunch of time with Amelia." Ryan agreed with his friend.
After which, he waved at Amelia and just smiled due to the fact that she really is adorable. "God, that girl is adorable. By the way, I hope you know that you can always just give me a call if you need anything." Luke agreed with Ryan as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I know that. And I appreciate that you guys are going to be isolating." Ryan smirked. "Hey, I want to have a baby of my own; and that most certainly is something we're going to try and do, a lot hopefully. But listen. I want to ask you what you think about this whole change that they're making to the company? How we're now owned by CCF Innovations?" Luke agreed with Ryan as he said that, as that most certainly is the company that they are now owned by. "Yeah, I saw the e-mail too." Ryan agreed.
After which, he took a breath once more. "I swear, they are really making things complicated." Luke agreed. "But at the same time, we do need to remember that they are the experts." Ryan snickered as he heard Luke say that, as he didn't really feel that way. "Luke, he's not a businessman; he's a former firefighter." That's when Luke's wife came out to see Ryan there. "And you're a new graduate from University. Who are you to be talking about? Last time I checked, the Caseys are the ones that let us live here. They pay us." Ryan agreed with Sarah as she said that, before smiling at her. "Right, of course." At the same time, Luke smiled as he looked up at his wife; after which, he got up and went to wrap his arm around her. "Hey you." Wrapping her arm around Luke's back, Sarah smiled.
After which, she put her hand on his chest and leaned up to kiss him softly. "Hi. So last time I checked, we agreed to play with Amelia in our backyard during COVID." Luke sighed as he heard Sarah say that, well aware that was the case. "Sorry." Sarah agreed with Luke as he said that, before cuddling up to him; after which, she laid her head down on his chest. Meanwhile, Luke wrapped his arms around both of his girls as they cuddled up to each other. Putting his hand on her back, Luke smiled as he bent down and kissed his wife softly. "Does this little one need to go take a nap?" Sarah agreed with Luke as he asked her whether Amelia had to go take a nap, as she most certainly did. "Yeah, that's why I'm down here." Luke smiled, before agreeing with his wife. "Want that massage now?"
Smirking, Sarah put her hand on his face. "Finish talking to your friend, then come see me upstairs; we can put Amelia down, and then we can go take a swim with each other. Because that's really what I want to do right now, as I think we're ready to do that. Leave Amelia inside, as we take a swim." Luke agreed with Sarah as she said that, before wrapping his arm around her and putting his hand on her butt; after which, he leaned in and kissed her softly. Taking things slow with Sarah, Luke was really happy. "See you inside okay?" Sarah agreed as she went to walk inside with Amelia so that she can put her down for her nap, meanwhile Luke proceeded to return to the conversation that he was having with Ryan. "So, you guys going to go for another baby soon?" Luke laughed.
As did Sarah, who soon yelled out. "The answer is NO Luke, or you don't get anything on your birthday!" Luke agreed with Sarah as she said that, well aware that he needs to take it easy when it comes to what he's going to say. "I love you Sarah." Sarah agreed with Luke as he said that, as she loves him too. "I love you too, see you in our room." Luke agreed with his wife as she walked away, while he turned his head and looked at Ryan. "Seriously? Are you trying to ruin my sex life?" Ryan laughed as Luke asked him that. "Oh, shut up, that woman is so obsessed with you that she's always going to want you." Luke agreed with Ryan, as he knew that was the case. "I can say the same thing about your wife. But we need to get together for supper sometime." Ryan agreed with his friend, as they did.
But at the same time, he's not sure whether it's safe. "Luke, COVID. Six feet, remember? It's why we can't be in the office." Luke agreed with his friend as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Right, I know. It's just going to be weird. You're literally right down the road, and we can't even spend time with each other." Ryan agreed with Luke once more, well aware that was the case. "But at the same time, I think we both know that you're going to do whatever you can to make sure that daughter of yours is safe." Luke snickered, as that most certainly is the truth. "Oh, you got that right." Ryan agreed with Luke, and just smiled at his friend as he could see that he was more than ready to go inside and be with his wife and daughter. "Just go man, I need to get home anyways."
Luke agreed with Ryan as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Say hi to Sarah for us and stay safe. We don't want any deaths." Ryan agreed with his friend as he said that, as he felt the same way when it came to deaths. But now, he needs to make his way home so that he can spend time with his wife; meanwhile, Luke turned around so that he could make his way inside where his wife and daughter are right now. Because that's exactly where he wants to be. Inside his home, with his gorgeous wife and daughter.
Making his way up to Amelia's nursery this afternoon, Luke smiled as he was loving the sounds that were coming out of the nursery; the sound of his wife humming to their daughter, as she tried to get her to fall asleep. But he also knew something else, and that would be that Amelia always falls asleep much faster when both of her parents are putting her to bed. And that was the exact reason why Luke made his way into his baby girls' nursery, where his beautiful wife was currently breastfeeding their daughter. "I swear, I love this sight." Turning her head to look up at Luke, Sarah smiled due to the fact that she was happy to see him in here with her. After which, he walked up to her and Amelia and smiled. "God, I still love this sight." Sarah agreed with her husband and smiled at him.
After which, she turned her head and looked down at Amelia once more. Bending down, she smiled as she proceeded to kiss her forehead softly. "I love that I get some extra time home with Amelia." Luke agreed with Sarah as she said that, before smiling as he made his way over to her; after which, he sat down next to her and smiled as he put his hand on her leg. And that was when he realized that Sarah was just wearing her bathrobe, as well as some lingerie. "Is there a reason why you're just wearing lingerie for me?" Turning her head, Sarah smiled due to the fact that there most certainly is a reason why she's wearing lingerie. "Well, depends on whether you're done work for today." Luke smirked. "We haven't gotten much information on how things are going to work."
Sarah agreed with Luke as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Well, that makes sense. Are you going to e-mail your bosses to figure out what you're doing?" Luke bit his lip. "You wanted me to do some family stuff today, and I promised not to do work stuff." Sarah agreed with her husband as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know. But this is something that's obviously on your mind right now; and you have time if you want it." Luke agreed with his wife as she said that, before smiling as he walked up to his gorgeous wife; after which, he leaned over her and kissed her softly. "I want to concentrate on you and Amelia right now." Sarah agreed with her husband as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Well, I most certainly love that idea." Luke smirked.
After which, he put his hand on her neck and proceeded to kiss her once again. Just taking things nice and slow with his gorgeous wife, Luke smirked as this is absolutely perfect. "Listen, I am going to grab Amelia's laundry and go start it." Sarah just looked at Luke as he said that, surprised. "Wait, did you really just say that?" Luke agreed with Sarah, before smiling at her. "Hey, I'm a good husband." Sarah smiled as she heard Luke say that, as he most certainly is a good husband. "Oh, you're a great husband." Smiling as he heard Sarah say that, before moving to grab her hand; after which, he stroked her hand and smirked. "See you after I start the laundry." Sarah agreed with Luke as he said that, before turning her attention to Amelia once more.
At the same time, Luke turned around and made his way over to Amelia's closet to grab her laundry. "I swear, I am going to miss these small clothes when she grows out of them." Smiling, Sarah agreed with her husband as she felt the same way. "Oh, I most certainly feel the same way; and I am just so glad that we're not done having kids." Turning around to look at Sarah, Luke smirked and agreed with his wife's statement; after which, he made his way back over to her. Leaning over her, Luke smirked as he proceeded to kiss her softly. "Now that's the truth, because we are not done having kids." Sarah smiled as she heard Luke say that, before putting her hand on his face; after which, Luke leaned his forehead against hers as they both held each other close today.
"Listen, I think we both know that we need to calm down while we're here in Amelia's nursery."
Sarah agreed with her loving husband as he said that, well aware that was the case; after which, Luke bent down and kissed his beautiful wife again. "I am going to go to our room." Sarah shook her head. "No, you're going to stay here. And when I am done feeding Amelia, you're going to be the one who puts her in her crib; because I need to do something for you." Luke was confused as he heard Sarah say that, unsure of just what she means. "What do you mean by that?" Sarah smirked. "You'll have to find out when we're in our room." Luke agreed with Sarah as she said that, ready to find out sooner rather than later; and boy was he going to love what he's going to get from his wife when he's in their room, as it's going to be incredibly sexy…just like her.
Reese Primary Suite – He just finished putting his baby girl down in her nursery, where she was going to take a nap while he and her mother got to spend a bit of quality time with each other. Quality time which involves a surprise, which Luke is really interested in finding out about. But his wife had other plans, and that was to keep him guessing until he was in their room. But now that he was in their room, he was ready to find out. "Okay, you said that I don't get to know until I'm in here; so what's the surprise?" Sarah laughed as she heard her husband ask her that, before speaking to him from the bathroom. "Come in here." Luke was a bit confused as he heard Sarah say that, before realizing that she was in the bathroom; and thank god he decided to take off his shirt on the way.
That way, he'll be able to tease her in the bathroom; as he has no doubt that she's going to be teasing him, but he just doesn't know how yet. But the moment he saw how she was going to tease him, his mind was blown; and that was due to the fact that his wife was wearing lingerie, new lingerie which he's yet to see. And boy, is this going to be fun; as it means that he's going to be able to enjoy his wife, as they hold each other close. "Damn." Looking up at her man in the mirror, Sarah smiled as she wondered whether he likes what he sees. "Do you like it?" Luke was shocked that Sarah even needed to ask him whether he likes what he sees, as he most certainly does. "Hey, you have no need to ask me that question. Babe, I love this. You are so damn sexy as you wear it." Sarah agreed with Luke.
After which, she watched as he walked up behind her so that he could put his hands on her body; after all, that was exactly what they both wanted. They wanted their hands all over each other, and they wanted to hold each other in bed; as they both wear undergarments. And that's going to start right now, as Luke wrapped his arm around Sarah and stepped close to her from behind; meanwhile, Sarah put her hand on top of his and smirked as she looked up at her man. "God, you look so sexy in this lingerie." Sarah agreed with Luke as he said that, before turning around in his arms; after which, Luke moved his hands to her his and stepped close to his beautiful wife. The woman he loves, and the only woman he'll ever see himself being with for the rest of his life.
After all, they are high school sweethearts; and he really does love this life that they've made together over the past seventeen years of their lives. Yes, you heard that right. They've been together for half of their lives, and they both love it; as it means that their love is very deep, and they know each other a lot better than other couples. Also, they didn't rush to have kids; because that wasn't what they wanted, but they wanted to wait and just take their time and leave it up to faith. And then faith gave them Amelia, and they couldn't be any more elated over the fact that they waited. But one thing that will always make the both of them extremely happy, is getting time to spend with each other; quality time as husband and wife, with Amelia not bothering them or needing them.
And that's exactly what Luke and Sarah have right now, so they're not going to waste it; rather, Luke's going to pick Sarah up in his arms and set her down on the counter. After which, he stepped close to her and smiled as he put his hands on her sides and looked at the delicious lingerie that she was wearing for him. "Okay, now this is hot." Sarah smiled as she heard Luke say that, before moving her hand to his face; after which, she took things nice and slow with her incredible husband. "God, I love you so much." Luke agreed with Sarah as she said that, well aware that was the case as he put his hand on her neck; after which, he bent down and started to suck on her neck (just like Sarah wanted him to do in the first place). She wants to feel this, and she wants to have him all over her.
But she doesn't want to have him all over her in their bathroom, as she instead wants to have him in their bed. "Okay, calm down Luke; because this is not where you're going to get me, as that's in our bed." Luke agreed with Sarah as she said that, as that's exactly where he wants to be with his wife. He wants to be in bed, holding her close to him as they cuddle up to each other. "Do you want me to carry you to bed?" Moving her hands to Luke's face, Sarah smiled as that's exactly what she wants. She wants her husband to carry her to bed, and just hold her in his arms starting now. "I would love that." Luke agreed with Sarah as she said that, before leaning in to kiss her once again; after which, he wrapped his arm around her back and picked her up in his arms this afternoon.
Wrapping Sarah's legs around his waist after picking her up in his arms, Luke smiled as he wrapped his arms around her and then turned around so that he could carry her out to bed; at the same time, Sarah put her hands on his chest and smiled as this really is exactly what she wants. She wants to be held in her husband's arms as they take things nice and slow with each other. And that means that they just need to take things slow. And right now, that's exactly what they're doing. "Is it wrong for me to love the fact that we're stuck with each other right now." Smiling, Luke shook his head as it most certainly was not wrong for her to want to be stuck with him right now; especially not when he wants the same time, to be stuck with his gorgeous wife and daughter.
"Not when I want the same thing, to be stuck here with you and Amelia. The two loves of my life."
Sarah looked at her husband as he said that, as that was not something that she thought she'd here. "Two loves of your life? I thought I was the love of your life!" Luke smiled as Sarah said that, before leaning in and kissing her once more. "You're my soulmate and love of my life, Amelia is my baby girl and the love of my life." Smiling as she heard Luke call her his soulmate, Sarah smirked due to the fact that she really loves that word. She loves being called his soulmate, as it means something special to her; it means that they're forever, and that their family will be forever. "Okay, I love that title more." Luke smirked as he heard Sarah say that, well aware that was the case. "I had a feeling that you were going to say that." Sarah agreed with her dreamy husband, smirking as she kissed him again.
Meanwhile, Luke continued to carry Sarah out to their bed where they would hold each other close. "I'll take off my shorts once I've laid you down, okay?" Sarah agreed with Luke as he said that, as that's exactly what she wants. But she also wants something else, and that's to talk. "Luke, do you mind if we talk when we're in bed before we…" Luke agreed with Sarah as she asked him whether they can talk before they get all sexy with each other. "Of course, we can talk Sarah. In fact, I had a feeling that you were going to want to talk to me at some point, as we have a lot of changes that have happened since we really last went to work." Sarah agreed with Luke, as that was an understatement; after all, they are now staying at home with each other. And that's a really big difference.
"Baby, I think that would be an understatement. Last time I checked, we're under a stay-at-home order now."
Luke agreed with Sarah as she said that, well aware that was the case as he felt her cuddle up to him; after which, he ran his hand up and down her back as they both continued to hold each other close. After all, that was what they both needed at the moment. They need to hold each other close, and they need to cuddle up to each other. "We're going to talk when we're in bed, okay Sarah?" Sarah agreed with Luke, as that's exactly what she wants to do. She wants to sit in bed and talk to Luke about all of this. She just has so much on her mind right now, that she feels like she needs to talk to her husband as they hold each other in bed; and luckily, Luke is more than ready to do just that. Hold her in bed and talk to her about everything's that's going on right now. (Especially COVID).
Taking off his shorts for Sarah shortly after laying her down in their bed, Luke smiled as he made his way over to his dresser while folding them up; at the same time, he couldn't help but turn his head and look at the most beautiful woman in the entire world. His sexy wife, and the woman of his dreams; Ms. Sarah Jane Reese. The absolute best mother in the entire world, whom he and Amelia love to pieces. And that's why he could just tell that something was off with his wife. "Okay, you have a bunch on your mind right now." Turning her head, Sarah took a breath as she most certainly does. "Luke, don't you have a bunch on your mind too?" Luke agreed with his wife as she asked him whether he has a bunch on his mind, as he does; and that's why they're going to take it easy, and talk.
They're going to hold each other and just relax as they breathe, because Luke does know something's up with Sarah; and he also knows that it's related to COVID, which she's really worried about. "I couldn't help but think that you were really spooked when you saw me with Ryan." Sarah sighed as she looked at Luke, as she was a bit spooked as she didn't want to have it come here and affect Amelia. "I guess, I'm just thinking about Amelia." Luke agreed with Sarah as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I know. And I'm sorry for not thinking about her, as I really should've been a bit more distant." Sarah agreed with Luke. "It's okay, I trust Ryan and Sarah." Luke agreed with Sarah, as he trusts them too. "Here, you want me in bed with you?" Sarah smirked and agreed with him.
After all, that's exactly where she wants her husband to be. "I want you to kiss me first." Luke agreed with Sarah as she said that, as that most certainly is something that he wants as well, which is why he just leaned over his wife, and put his hand on her neck. After which, he took things nice and slow with his beautiful wife. "I love you." Sarah agreed with Luke, as she loves him too. "I love you too. Now are you going to join me in bed?" Luke agreed with Sarah, before doing just that as he opened the covers and went to grab his pillow; adjusting it, Luke smirked as he was now finally ready to get in bed with his wife. After which, he went ahead and climbed in before laying down on his back; however, Sarah didn't lay down on her back. Rather, she sat up and looked down at him today.
Moving to grab her bra, Sarah smirked as she proceeded to take it off for her husband. "That's what I'm doing." Luke smirked as he watched Sarah take off her bra for him, while also reaching up and hoping that his beautiful wife will come lay down on his chest. "Come here my beautiful wife." Sarah agreed with Luke as he said that, before crawling over to him and moving to lay down on his chest; after which, she cuddled up to him and put her hand on his body. Meanwhile, Luke wrapped his arm around her and smiled as he put his hand on her back as a way to make sure that Sarah was comfortable here in bed with him; not that there was never a doubt that she would be comfortable in bed with him, as she's always comfortable in bed with Luke. "Comfortable?" Sarah smiled.
"Of course, I'm comfortable baby, because I have the best pillow in the entire world."
Smiling as he heard Sarah say that, Luke bent down and proceeded to kiss Sarah softly. After which, he started to take things nice and slow with his extremely beautiful wife. "I love you so much." Sarah agreed with Luke as he said that. "However, I think we both know that we need to talk." Sarah agreed with her husband as he said that, well aware of that fact. "About COVID." Luke agreed with Sarah as she said that, before looking down at his beautiful wife. "Sarah, you have to know that I will always keep you and Amelia safe from this." Looking up at Luke, Sarah was shocked that he would even say such a thing. "Luke, where in the world did that come from?" Luke sighed as he turned his head and looked down into Sarah's eyes, before eventually bending down and kissing her softly.
"It's because I was too close to Ryan, I can see that's something that's really bothering you."
Sarah sighed as she heard Luke say that, as she hated that it was bothering her. "I know that it shouldn't bother me, but I want us to be safe and not put Amelia at risk." Luke agreed with his wife as she said that, as he feels the same way. The last thing that he wants to do, is put Amelia at risk. "Sarah, I hope you know that I feel the same way and that you don't have to hide that you feel that way from me. I want to keep both you and Amelia safe from this, and I will do whatever you want to make sure that you guys are safe. If that means that I need to stop going out, then we will." Taking a breath as she heard Luke say that, Sarah just wasn't sure what she wanted when it came to that. "I'm not sure what I want when it comes to that Luke." Luke agreed with Sarah, before kissing her forehead.
"And that's okay Sarah, because we have all the time in the world to figure out what we want."
Sarah agreed with Luke as he said that, before smiling as she thought of something. "You know, we could always go for that son you want." Looking down at Sarah, Luke smiled as he bent down and kissed her softly. "Do you mean it?" Sarah smiled. "I think us having some fun with each other will help me relax, and just take it easy right now." Luke agreed with Sarah as she said that, before smirking at his wife; after which, he proceeded to roll over so that he was on top of his wife…just like she wanted him to be today.
