Chapter Three Hundred and Twenty
COVID Day 2 with the Halstead Family
Halstead Home, Waialae-Kahala – If there was one benefit that came with COVID, it was that Jay was able to sleep in every day; he was able to hold the woman he loves close to her for as late as he wants, and just cuddle up to her under the sheets. And lately, they've been doing that with Alex not wearing a bra; and Jay had to say, he really likes the feeling of his wife being topless as she slept on his chest. But that wasn't the only thing that he liked, because he also liked the fact that he didn't have to take Max out to the washroom; and that was due to the fact that they had a nice patio door in their room, which let Max go in and out of the house whenever he pleased. And that was why waking up in the morning was truly perfect, as Jay got exactly what he wanted every day.
He got this. The feeling of his gorgeous wife in his arms, as they cuddled up to each other and just concentrated on having a bit of intimate time with each other. Well, that; and him giving Alex some soft kisses, which she most certainly does want whenever she's awake. But right now, Alex isn't awake; rather, she's still fast asleep on his chest. Or at least Jay thought she was, because he soon realized that she was awake as she started to leave soft kisses. And god, was that a nice feeling. Heck, it's always a nice feeling when he gets a chance to feel Alex's soft lips on his neck; and he was going to make sure that Alex knew that he appreciated the feeling, by doing exactly what she wants him to do. And that would be to moan. Turning his head, Jay smiled as he looked at his beautiful wife.
"Was that your way to tell me that you're awake?"
Alex agreed with her husband as he asked her that, before laying her head down on his chest and cuddled up to him; meanwhile, Jay ran his hand up and down her back as they both cuddled up to each other right now. And now this was nice, especially since the kids were still asleep. "Well, I love the fact that you kissed me like that to tell me that you're awake; but I also liked it, due to the fact that it was really sexy." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before smiling as she laid her head down on his chest; running her hand down his chest, Alex smiled as this really is exactly what she wants to do right now. "Well, I like something else that's pretty sexy." Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that, before moving his hand on top of hers; after which, he stroked her hand with his thumb and just smiled.
He then turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "Well, I like it too; especially since this gorgeous woman I love more than anything, is wearing nothing but her underwear for me." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I am well aware of the fact that you like it when I'm just wearing my underwear; so why do you think I'm doing it?" Jay smiled as he heard Alex say that, before kissing her forehead once more. At the same time, he ran his hand up and down her back while they held each other close. And the truth was, Jay was starting to realize something; that this is what they need to do right now, as it gives them a chance to slow down. Because ever since they moved here to Hawaii, he feels like everything has been full of stress and events.
But now, they are just holding each other; and even better, they don't have anywhere to go. "I'm happy." And that was how Jay was going to bring up this conversation, which then led to Alex looking up at the man she loves. "Where did that come from?" Jay smiled as he looked down at the woman he loves, before bending down and kissing her softly. "I guess, I just want to talk about how no matter what we're dealing with right now; I feel happy. I feel like this is what we need right now." Pushing herself up Jay's chest, Alex was a bit confused as she looked down into her husband's eyes; at the same time, Jay reached up and put his hand on her face. "Why do you feel like this is what we're supposed to be doing right now?" Jay smiled as Alex asked him that, before explaining it to her.
"Ever since we moved to Hawaii, I feel like we haven't really had a chance to stop."
Alex agreed with her husband as he said that, as that most certainly is something that she can agree with him about; after which, she slipped up her chest before leaning her forehead against his. After which, Alex slipped her legs in between his and just smiled due to the fact that this is exactly what they both want to do; she then bent down, and smiled as she kissed her husband softly. She then went ahead and laid down on her husband's muscular chest once more, while also wrapping her arms around his toned chest. And god, this is exactly what she wants to do right now. She wants to cuddle up to her man, and just hold her close right now. "Can we just stay like this all day? Me in my underwear, and you in your boxers?" Jay snickered as he heard Alex say that, before smiling at her.
After all, that's exactly what he wants to do; he wants to cuddle up to his wife all day, and just spend some time with his wife and family. But at the same time, he also knows that they can't; and that's due to the fact that they have two beautiful children, and a dog. "Unfortunately, I can't do that. We have two kids, and we also have a dog." Alex agreed with her husband as he said that, before cuddling up to him once more; after which, she snuggled up to Jay once more. Turning his head afterwards, Jay smiled as he kissed her forehead and just held her close. And that was all Jay wanted to do right now, holding the woman he loves close to him; as they both cuddle up to each other and hold each other in bed. But unfortunately, It seems like their children won't co-operate with them.
"How in the world do our children know exactly when we want to spend time with each other in bed?"
Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that, before running his hand up and down her back; at the same time, he put his hand on her neck and took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "So, we coming back here afterwards?" Alex agreed with Jay as he asked her whether they were coming back here afterwards. "That's exactly what I want. I want you to come back here with the kids, before you go make us some breakfast." Walking over to his boxers, Jay bent down and then smiled as he went to put it on. After all, that's what he needs to do so that he can go get their children in their nursery; and that's due to the fact that they no longer sleep in their room, which is something that Jay most certainly does enjoy as he can get sex.
Sex like he got the night before, which was amazing. But back to what he needs to do, he needs to get up and put his boxers on, which is exactly what Jay did, he put his boxers on and smiled at the woman he loves. After which, he proceeded to make his way around his and Alex's bed; after all, he wants to do something first. And that would be to take things nice and slow with his wife, and that's just what he did. Leaning over her, Jay smirked as he proceeded to kiss her softly; meanwhile, Alex put her hand on his neck and smiled as they both took things nice and slow with each other. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that, and just smiled as they were both really happy right now. "Listen, how about you go take care of our children?" Jay agreed with Alex, ready to do just that.
After which, he got up and made his way over to the door so that he can go take care of the kids. "Are you going to take a shower? Or are you going to wait?" Sitting up, Alex smirked as she looked at her man. "I'm going to wait until the kids take their morning nap." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, loving the idea of that. "Well, I am going to do just that with you when we take a shower together later." Alex agreed with her husband, and just smiled at him. "I'll take Max out for you. Change the kids, and then come in here with them. Maybe you can also ask your brother to make us breakfast, while we feed our kids." Jay agreed with Alex, as that sounds great. After which, he turned around and proceeded to walk out of their room so that he can go to the nursery and take care of the kids.
Michael and Olivia's Nursery – He thought maybe he could try and keep the kids calm for his brother and sister-in-law, that way they can keep sleeping; after all, the uncle couldn't sleep right now. He can't sleep due to the fact that he had a hard day yesterday, a day where he also had to deal with something that he didn't expect. A patient who was crashing in the ambulance and died within an hour of arriving at the hospital; and that was something that was keeping him from sleeping right now. So, he thought that he could do his brother a solid; and that would be feed either his niece or nephew, but only with his permission now that he was here. "Hey, I hope the kids didn't wake you up." Turning his head, Will shook his head as he asked him whether Michael and Olive woke him up.
"By the way, I swear that I already showered twice and got tested today."
Jay agreed with his brother as he said that, well aware that was the case; after all, he knows that his brother would never expose his children to this. Because if he did, then he and his wife would be back at the condo; and his wife wouldn't have him and Alex to take care of her, while Will is at the hospital. "Oh, trust me. I know that you aren't going to do anything that could risk my children's lives, because then you would be kicked out on your ass; and your wife would stay here, but you would be in the penthouse." Will laughed and agreed with Jay as he said that; after all, that's exactly what would happen. "Well listen, I need to feed the kids." Will agreed with his brother as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Do you want some help?" Jay was a bit surprised.
"Really?"
Will agreed with Jay as he asked him whether he was really open to helping, as he was. "I can't sleep, so I might as well just stay awake and help out?" Jay sighed, before looking at his brother. "Need someone to talk to, who you can really express yourself to; without having to worry about putting stress on her body." Will sighed as he looked at his brother. "Do you mind?" Jay shook his head. "How about you help me bring the kids to me and Alex's room? Then, you can get dressed and make us some breakfast." Will agreed with his brother as he said that, before smelling something. "Make sure you take a shower before you come out for breakfast with me." Jay laughed as he walked up to Olivia and then picked her up from her crib. "Hi princess." Getting close to her, Jay smiled at his baby girl.
After which, he kissed her cheek and just smiled as he was really happy right now. "How did you sleep little girl?" Cuddling up to her daddy, Olivia smiled as she was really happy to be held by her father; at the same time, Jay turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "God, you are so adorable baby girl. But listen, how about we get you changed? Then you can get fed by mommy. And maybe your uncle Will can feed your brother." Will was shocked. "I thought you wanted me to make breakfast?" Jay shook his head. "You need to talk to me you just said, and I think that we both know that I can make breakfast for my family." Will agreed with his brother as he said that, glad that he was going to do just that. "Thanks Jay." Jay agreed, before going to change Olivia. That way, he can bring her to his and Alex's room, where she can be fed by Alex. Meanwhile, Will can sit in the living room with Michael as he feeds him; at least, he hopes that Alex will let him do that. But maybe she will, if he tells her what's happening.
Walking out of the washroom after taking a shower, Jay smiled as he looked at the woman he loves. After all, she does look adorable as she holds their baby girl in her arms (while also feeding her). Smiling at his beautiful wife, Jay just smirked due to the fact that this is exactly what he wants to see each and every day. He wants to see his wife holding their children, as she feeds them. "So, you're going to take some time with Will today." Snapping out of what he was thinking of, Jay agreed with Alex as that's exactly what he plans on doing; and that's due to the fact that he needs to make sure that his brother is okay. "I think that he needs someone to talk to, other than Natalie." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware of just what he was talking about; he was talking about stress.
"You mean for stress?"
Jay agreed with Alex as he made his way over to his closet while just wearing his boxers, before smiling as he opened it; he then proceeded to grab some of his jeans (while also turning to look at his beautiful wife). "Yeah, that's why. We don't want her to get too stressed, for the sake of the pregnancy." Alex agreed with her husband, and smiled at him due to the fact that it's something that she loves about Jay; how he has such a big heart. "God, you had such a big heart and it's a huge turn on." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before smiling as he turned around and going to put his jeans on. Tugging them up, he smiled as he went ahead and proceeded to tug them up; after which, he grabbed his belt that he has nearby. "And I love you too." Alex snickered as she heard Jay say that.
"So, that was me saying that I love you?"
Jay agreed with Alex, as that most certainly is one of the ways that she can say that she loves him. "I think that's one of the ways, the other is the way you take care of our children." Alex smiled as she heard Jay say that, really loving her husband more than anything in the entire world. "God, how did I hit the jackpot when it comes to getting a husband?" Going to grab his socks (which he already got out), Jay smirked as he walked over to his side of the bed; after which, he sat down on the edge of the bed and went to put them on. And let's just say that Alex liked the sight of that, as it made his back flex. "God, now that's a real turn on." T urning his head, Jay was confused as he heard Alex ay that. "What are you talking about?" Alex smiled as he heard Jay say that, before giving him an answer.
"Your back flexes when you lean over to put your socks on, and it's quite a turn on."
Jay agreed with Alex again, before smiling as he got up; after which, he grabbed the shirt that he already had on his bed. After which, he walked around the bed and then came to sit down next to the woman he loves. After which, he leaned over her and put his hand on her neck. Kissing Alex, Jay smirked due to the fact that he loves her more than anything in the entire world. "God, I love you so much." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I love you too, and I am so glad that you're with me right now." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case; after which, he leaned in and kissed her again. After which, he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her neck softly. "Thanks for this morning." Alex smirked, really happy that he did that.
After all, it was really sexy. "God, that was sexy; and I am so glad that this is what we're doing, because I love you more than anything." Jay agreed with Alex, as he felt the same way. "I love you too, and I am so glad that this is what we're doing too; but we need to take it easy now, because you're feeding Olivia." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before turning her head and looking at her daughter. "I still can't believe that the twins are already five months old." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before deciding to sit down next to her some more; after which, he wrapped his arm around Alex and smiled due to the fact that this really is exactly what they both want to do right now. They want to hold each other close, and just cuddle up to each other right now, while they daughter stays there.
"God, I love that you decided to do this right now."
Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before turning his head and looking at the woman he loves; after which, he bent down and kissed her softly. He then went ahead and kissed her forehead as they both cuddled up to each other. "How are you feeling right now? I know that you've been having a lot of stress recently." Alex agreed with her husband as he said that, but she's glad that they're holding each other close right now. "Well, I hope you know that I love you for wanting to help your brother." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that. "He helped me a lot while we were in the hospital, so I feel like I need to help him in return." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before taking a breath as she went ahead and grabbed his hand. "Are you having PTSD about that?" Jay shook his head.
After all, that's not what's been happening recently; rather, he's okay and just happy to be here with his family. "I'm happy right now." Alex agreed with her husband as he told her that, before smiling as she felt him kiss her forehead; after which, he proceeded to kiss her softly as they both held each other close. "I love you, and I am so glad that this is exactly what we're doing right now; but you also need to go make breakfast for me. Can you?" Jay agreed with Alex, before smiling as he kissed her again. "I love you, and I'll see you soon." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, while watching him get up; after which, he walked over to the end of the bed and grabbed his shirt. He then went ahead and put it on as the last thing he wants is to walk around shirtless when his brother wants to relax.
But that doesn't mean that he's not going to tease his wife, which is exactly what he just did as he put his shirt on. "Such a tease." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before smirking as he made his way over to her once more; after which, he leaned over her and kissed her softly. "I can say the same thing about you Ms. Halstead." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before smiling as he kissed her again. "I love you." Jay agreed with Alex. "I love you too. See you soon." Alex agreed with Jay and smirked as he proceeded to walk away so that he can go talk to his brother (and make breakfast). "I'll let Will know that you want Natalie to join you today maybe." Alex loves the sound of that and agreed with her husband. "I love the sound of that." Jay smirked before walking out to the kitchen.
