A world with quirks means its people are wind up rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Mina Ashido is a vivacious hero in training. 27. Nana Shimura

A.N. — There are nine (technically ten) users of One for All. The only female gets to be the first of those spotlighted. Maybe, by year's end, we'll get names for the 2nd and 3rd users...

27. Nana Shimura

Nana Shimura, like most female heroes, got their foot in the door of the industry partly on ability, and partly on looks. Her trademark smile, much to her chagrin, made people notice the latter rather than the former. Still, she'd keep on reassuring everyone through her demeanor, because her job wasn't about her figure. The only figures Nana concerned herself with were the amount of lives she saved, the number of criminals she apprehended. Her muscular physique aided her heroism, and while she had pride in it, the thing she valued most was passing down her positive mentality to Toshinori.
