A.N. — The first two parts of this trio of drabbles weren't so happy, so today I lean into the levity a little bit. Happy birthday, Sorahiko Torino!

28. Sorahiko Torino/Gran Torino

Sorahiko was never too old for this shit.

If someone said Gran Torino was too small and frail to continue hero work, he'd kick them in the face.

When people thought he was mentally slowing down, he'd prank them by playing right into the doddering senior citizen persona.

When his abilities were called into question, he'd correct them so fast he'd leave them spinning.

Sorahiko went hard on everyone, because he was the hardest on himself. He needed the little bits of levity in his daily life, so as to counteract all the memories of misfortune trailing from his past.
