Chapter Three Hundred and Twenty-Four
Intimate Conversations from the Heart (and an Awkward Family Reunion)
Casey Primary Suite – They were finally ready. Ready to spend the day together and concentrate on each other and a bunch of things that the couple need to talk about; while also being a bit intimate with each other, which is something that both of the parents really enjoy doing. Especially since they got home from the hospital, where it was rare for them to have the chance to be intimate with each other. Honestly, the only time that they got to be intimate with each other in the hospital was: (1) in the middle of the night, when the kids were all asleep in the hospital room, and (2) when they were in the bathroom with each other. After all, they couldn't exactly able to do it in their hospital room where their beautiful children were sleeping. But that was okay, due to the fact that they'd rather let their kids sleep; than scar them for the rest of their lives, which is something that Matt understands how much it can screw you up.
After all, he is from a broken home, which was also a home where violence was normal, and behind closed doors. As it always is. There is rarely a situation of domestic violence that occurs in public, which is why Matt is always cautious when it comes to fighting with his wife; as he doesn't want to scar his kids, like he was scared when his father abused and raped his mother. But that's never going to happen here, not when he and Gabby are madly in love with each other; and he truly means that, due to the fact that Gabby is the love of his life. And she will always be the love of his life, as he wants to be with her with the rest of his life; something she's already well aware of, as she wants the same things as him. She wants to be his wife for the rest of his life, and she wants to die in his arms; but she doesn't want to die anytime soon, as they have children that they want to watch grow up together. God, that'll be nice.
And they also have conversations to have with each other, which they most certainly should probably start having rather than just sitting here with each other as they hold each other close; but Gabby did have to admit that she loves this feeling, of his strong hands on her body today. And with her luck, that's something that she's going to have all day today; his hands on her body, and his love all over her. I mean, what more could a woman want? Other than the most beautiful children in the entire world, which she already has. But right now, that's not what Gabby needs to concentrate on; rather, she needs to concentrate on the gorgeous man who was currently holding her in his arms. Well, more the man than the fact that he was holding her, which was very comfortable might she add, because her husband is a very comfortable pillow. Especially when he runs his hand (and wedding band) up and down her back.
Thankfully, that's exactly what he's in the midst of doing right now; Matt's running his hand up and down her back, with his wedding band on her spine. And that's why Matt thinks that his gorgeous wife is still being quiet at the moment, as she doesn't want to loose the feeling of his wedding band on her back; but she doesn't need to worry about that, as his hand isn't going to be anywhere other than her back today. "I hope you know that you don't have to worry." Confused, Gabby turned her head and looked up at her loving husband as she didn't understand what he meant when he said that; after all, she already knows that she didn't have to worry when they're just going to talk to each other today. But at the same time, Gabby couldn't help but wonder just what Matt was talking about. "Okay, I am confused as to just what you mean baby." Matt snickered a bit as he heard Gabby say that, while rubbing her back.
After which, he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly; while also wrapping his arms around her back, and holding his beautiful wife close to him. "I mean that you can be open with me, and just talk to me about whatever you want. You don't need to worry about what you can and can't say to me; I just want you to be honest with me, so that we can talk about whatever's on your heart." Gabby was confused as she heard Matt say that, as that was not the saying. "Baby, the saying is on your mind." Running his hand up and down Gabby's back, he made her lay down again before grabbing the back of her head; after which, he turned his head and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "If you speak from your heart, you're giving me the truth. And that's what I want to heart today, I want to heart your truth when it comes to what's on your mind right now." Gabby agreed with her husband, before letting out a sigh.
"I guess, when I think back. My mind doesn't just go back a single year to when we had the boys; but it goes back two years, from when we started to stray. And I don't like thinking about that time in our lives, because it was a really hard time where things were so uncertain."
Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "I know what you mean, I still hate thinking back to that summer." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before taking a breath. "Do you ever think back to that summer?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether he ever thinks back to that summer, as he most certainly does; he does all the time, and wonders whether he would've gone to her. "Honestly, there are times where I do; and I wonder whether I would've gone to see you, asked you to come back and promised you I'd take time off. Maybe then we could've started our journey back to each other, and our journey to a family sooner." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as she couldn't deny that was something that she's thought about as well. "I'm not going to deny and say that isn't something that I've thought about as well." Matt agreed with Gabby as he ran his hand up and down her back and held her.
After which, he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly while wrapping his arm around her back. "Okay, I just thought of something and god, I still can't believe this was something I did." Gabby was a bit confused as she heard Matt say that, before turning her head and looking up at the man she loves. "What are you talking about?" Matt smiled as he turned his head and looked down into Gabby's eyes. "I just thought of something I said to you in the RV on our trip, and it was about the emergency contact thing." Gabby agreed with Matt, before agreeing with him; well aware of the exact conversation that he was talking about. "But I still want to reiterate the fact that the sentiment is still the truth, and that requirement is still something that I am going to hold you to." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that. "Not that I'm going to Puerto Rico anytime soon." Matt agreed with Gabby and smiled.
"But still, that doesn't mean that my request can be ignored; and that request is your EMERGENCY CONTACT is to always be ME, not your mother, not your father, not your BROTHER…" Because if you forgot, that was who it was in the first place. "…but me, your HUSBAND who loves you more than anything in the entire world." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, well aware that he loves her more than anything, which is something that she knows even more each and every time they're in bed with each other. Because if there's one thing that she knows, it's that her husband is DELICIOUS in bed; something that they really need to start doing more often, simply due to the fact that she loves to have sex with her husband. "Another thing, we both agreed that we need to do dates more often." Gabby laughed, because that is the truth; but at the same time, she knew that wasn't practical at the moment.
"Well, I think we both know that isn't something that we can really do at the moment; based on the health crisis that we currently find ourselves in, as it's dangerous for our health…as well as the health and safety of our beautiful children."
Matt somewhat agreed with Gabby, but just on the part when it comes to the health crisis. "Okay, I'm going to have to partially disagree with you." Pushing herself up off Matt's chest, Gabby was a bit confused as he said that; after all, how can he disagree with such a true statement? A statement regarding the health and safety of their children during the COVID-19 pandemic. "Okay, I am going to play dumb right now; because we both know that statement was wrong, because our children are very young and are very much at risk…as am I when I am still recovering from giving birth, even though I am cleared for having sex." Matt smirked as Gabby mention that she's cleared to have sex, which is something that he really likes; so much so, that he just put his hand on her face and kissed her. But he didn't just kiss her quickly, but he instead kissed her passionately. And boy could Gabby feel the passion in the kiss.
Heck, if they weren't relaxing in the moment; then this kiss could very well lead to something much sexier, a nice love making session. "God, what a great kiss." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, while staring into her eyes. "Here, lay down next to me; it makes it easier when it comes to me kissing you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before rolling over onto her side so that she could get all comfortable here in bed with the man she loves. After all, this is exactly what she wants to do. She wants to be comfortable in bed with her husband, as they hold each other close right now; but at the same time, Matt also wants to feel her put her hand on his chest. And luckily, that's exactly what Gabby did; as she always puts her hand on his heart whenever they cuddle up to each other in bed, before he puts his hand on top of her arm….which is something that Gabby absolutely loves the feeling of right now.
But not as much as she loves the feeling of the man of her dreams kissing her softly, and just taking things nice and slow with her. "God, I love that feeling." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "But listen, there's a reason why I wanted to lay down next to you." Gabby agreed with Matt as she cuddled up to him; wrapping her arms around his muscular torso, while Matt slipped his arm under her head and put his hand on her arm. "Oh, is there now?" Matt smiled as he ran his hand up and down Gabby's arm, before moving it to her back; after which, he went to play with Gabby's bra strap. "Want to take it off?" Matt smiled as Gabby asked him whether he wants to take off her bra, as he most certainly does. "Can I?" Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling as she put her hand on his face and kissed him softly; after which, she put both of her hands on his face and whispered to him.
"Baby, when we're in bed being sexy with each other…you don't need to ask to take off my bra, you can just take it off."
Matt smiled as he heard Gabby tell him that, as that was exactly what he wanted to hear. So much so, that he did what he was told to do; and that was to take off her bra and throw it away so that it was on the ground, or in the hamper. Because that's where it ended up falling, in the hamper. "Nothing but net!" Gabby snickered as she heard Matt say that, before kissing him softly. "Let me guess, it went right into the laundry hamper?" Matt agreed with Gabby as that was exactly where her bra fell. "That it most certainly did my dear, and you're welcome." Gabby was a bit confused as she heard Matt say that. "Why do I need to thank you, when you did something for your own pleasure." Wrapping his arm around Gabby, Matt smirked as he tugged her body against his chest.
And boy did that turn Gabby on, just as much as it turned Matt on; because there's nothing like the feeling of her topless body, against his toned chest. "Don't lie to me and say you don't LOVE the feeling of my toned chest against your body." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, as she most certainly does love the feeling of his toned chest against her body; and she'll always love it, because she loves being held in her husband's arms like this. "Oh, I love being held in your arms like this." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before moving his hand to her back and stroking it with his thumb; after which, he stared into her eyes and kissed her once more. "I love the feeling too, because it's the feeling of my gorgeous wife being as close to me as she can get." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, before putting her hand on his face and cuddling up to him some more; just like they both wanted her to do.
After all, this is where they both want to be right now; with each other, in bed as they hold each other close while their girls slept. But at the same time, they do plan on continuing to talk to each other, which is exactly what Matt did. "So, listen, about the date thing." Gabby agreed with Matt as she put her hand on his chest and ran her hand down his side. "Yeah, you're going to need to explain that mister. How in the world can we go on a date, during the pandemic." Matt smirked as Gabby asked him that, before running his hand up and down her arm. "Last time I checked, this isn't our only home." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that. "Oh my god, that's right." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before wrapping his arm around her beck. After which, he kissed her softly and just started to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves, who just so happens to also be the woman he wants in bed.
"Whenever we get a chance to take a night away, we should go there."
Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before slipping her legs in between his as a way to tease him. "I think we both already know when we want that to happen, and that would be on your birthday." Matt took a breath, as he wasn't too sure about that. "I don't know, I may want to spend my birthday with the kids." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before cuddling up to him; after which, she put her hand on his neck and leaned in to kiss his neck softly; at the same time, Matt turned his head and smiled as he stared down into those gorgeous eyes of hers before moving his hand to the back of her head and bending down to kiss her softly. But it wasn't long before Matt rolled over on top of her and put his hand next to her on the bed, so that he wasn't squishing her; not that Gabby would really mind, as she put her hands on his face while kissing him nice and slowly as this was exactly what she wanted.
She wanted to have her husband on top of her, taking things nice and slow with her as they make sweet love to each other. "Now this is exactly what I want, and I want you naked in bed." Matt smirked as he heard gabby say that, loving that idea even though they have family here. "I just hate that our family wouldn't like the sound of it." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before running her finger down his chin. "Well, that just means that we're going to have to go on a date this weekend." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before thinking about it. "Maybe Friday, we can ask our moms to watch all the kids; and we can go spend the weekend alone at the penthouse, where I can be your lover." Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that, as he's always her lover. "Baby, you're always my lover." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before turning his head and looking at the girls.
"Our boys slept through it sometimes."
Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that, before kissing her husband softly. "Friday, I promise. We can spend the day and the weekend at the penthouse, just the four of us. Us and the girls." However, Matt then realized something. "Or not." Gabby was confused as she heard Matt say that. "Why not?" Matt sighed. "Andy." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "Yeah, you'd had to be exposed all the time." Matt nodded as he rolled over and then laid down on his back, after which Gabby came to join him on his chest; after all, that was exactly what he wanted. He always wants Gabby on his chest, all cuddled up to him as they both hold each other close in bed. And right now, that's exactly what Matt has as he turned his head and looked at the woman he loves; he then moved his hand to her back, while also pressing his lips to her forehead this morning. "I love you." Gabby agreed and smiled.
"I love you too Matt, but I think we know that we still need to talk."
Matt sighed, well aware that was the case; and he also knew the topic that they needed to talk about, which would be about how he was really in the hospital. "You want to talk about how my mental health was in the hospital?" Gabby agreed with Matt, before taking a breath. "Matt, I didn't want to say too much before; but I feel like it's my job to ask. I mean, you took a lot of walks with Andy while we were at the hospital. Was it just me? Or did you go a lot more often than you really should have when it came to him? He couldn't have had to need to go THAT often as you went for a walk." Matt took a breath as Gabby asked him that, glad that she was so observant. "Yeah, he didn't have to go all that often; I guess…I just needed to get out of the room, as I was dealing with a lot. We both were." Gabby agreed with Matt, while feeling him run his hand up and down her (naked) back, which is a feeling that she loves.
But she also loves just how honest Matt's being with her, which is something that she really appreciates; after how worried she was in the hospital, she was thinking that it may carry over to them being here at home. But so far, it hasn't; and she's happy that's the case, due to the fact that she doesn't want Matt to be all stressed. Rather, she wants him to take it easy and just relax in bed with her. And luckily, that's exactly what he's doing for now; at least, until Andy ran off into the backyard barking. "Andy!" Getting up off Matt's chest, Gabby just agreed with her husband. "Go ahead and get him." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before jumping out of bed and going to run after Andy while just wearing his boxers this morning; something that is not too appropriate for the circumstances which Matt will soon find himself in when he finds Andy.
When Matt finally found Andy this morning, he was just glad that he didn't run away too far; heck, he didn't even leave the yard (not that he could due to the fact that they have an electric fence). And Andy is a really good dog, so he knows not to leave the limits of the yard. But there was actually a reason why he ran out here, and that was due to the fact that they had guests; more specifically, Violet came over so that she could ask her uncle Matt if she could use the pool (as they don't have one in her backyard). So, that's where the awkward part comes in; as her uncle is just wearing his boxers. "Now this is awkward." Bending down as she rubbed Andy's head, Violet looked up only to see her uncle in his boxers. "Oh, it most definitely is awkward." Matt took a breath as he heard Violet say that. "Sorry, I just…" Violet nodded, already understanding why he was here; and it was related to the fact that he can't loose Andy.
"Let me guess, worried about someone stealing Andy?"
Matt agreed with Violet as she said that, as that was a real fear of his; especially when he needs Andy so much, because he really does help with his stress and PTSD. "Yeah, always worried about that." Violet agreed with her uncle, and smiled as she got up and looked at Andy; after which, Andy turned around to look at Matt and barked. "You scared me bud." Andy agreed, barking again before walking away so that he can run around in the backyard at bit; after which, Violet watched as her aunt Gabby came out of her and Matt's room with a shirt. "Here, I thought I'd bring you this." Turning around to look at Gabby, Matt smiled as he went to grab his shirt. "Thanks baby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling as he put it on; meanwhile, Gabby looked at her niece. "Can I hug you Aunt Gabby?" Gabby agreed as she made her way over to Violet, before hugging her. "I hug your grandma, and she hugs you."
Violet agreed with Gabby, before hugging her this morning; after which, he turned to look at her uncle. "And you do a lot more than hugging your wife, so you better give me a hug you fool." Matt just looked at Violet as she said that. "Who you calling a fool?" Violet just looked at her uncle, before going to imitate him running out in his boxers. "Oh my god, did you really run like that Matt?" Laughing, Matt shook his head as he made his way over to Violet; after which, he wrapped his arms around his niece and held her close. "God, this is nice." Bending down, Matt kissed the top of her head. "How's school going?" Violet smiled. "I'm on spring break. But there's rumors that I'm going online after spring break, so I may start doing schoolwork here." Gabby was a bit confused as she heard Violet say that, while getting close to Matt and wrapping her arm around him. "How about you go get us water?" Matt smiled.
After which, he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "Violet, how about you come meet your cousins? Then you can swim." Violet smiled as she heard her uncle Matt say that, loving that idea. "I will go through the front though; give you guys a minute to get dressed." Matt laughed and agreed with Violet as she said that, before watching as she walked away; after which, he got close to Gabby and wrapped his arm around her. Grabbing her hand forthwith, he smiled as he went ahead and intertwined their fingers as he held his beautiful wife close to him. Turning his head, he kissed the top of Gabby's head and smiled as they are both really happy with each other. "Good, I swear I scarred her." Gabby laughed as she wrapped her arm around his back while they held each other close. "Not as much as you're going to scar our daughters in the future when you do that." Matt smiled and agreed with Gabby this morning.
He then proceeded to wrap his arm around her back and put his hand on her butt before squeezing it. "HEY!" Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before turning to look at the woman he loves. "Remember when I did that at the stadium in Michigan?" Gabby laughed, as she most certainly did remember that day. "And I also remember the conversation that it led to." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that. "I think it actually led to us having kids." Gabby agreed with Matt, as she felt the same way about that day. "Yeah, because we had sex in Ohio, and you changed your mind." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before thinking about it.
