Hi Readers: After the event of the last chapter, I had an idea as to what I want to do prior to adding more content that would advance the story. And that would be to go back in time and revisit a chapter, which I might make a few changes to. Hope you like this chapter.
Chapter Three Hundred and Twenty-Five
Flashback: Road Trip, Days 1/2
The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
Gabby and Matt were currently in the midst of sitting together in the booth of their RV, with her ready to talk to her husband about what's on her mind; but she just hasn't brought it up to Matt yet, as she's a bit nervous over what he's going to say. And she means it, as she's deathly afraid of what the man she loves is going to say. She just doesn't want him to think that she's going to obsess about it, but she will; they both know that. She knows that it's going to happen, because it's been on her mind for too long. And that would be the fact that she just wants to make him a father. And Matt could clearly see that was on her mind, due to the fact that she's barely ate (or even touched) the food that they got at Subway. So, he decided to do something about that; and that would be to talk to his wife.
"Hey, what's wrong baby? You've barely ate."
Taking a breath as she looked up at Matt, Gabby just bit her lip before knowing in her heart (and head) that she can't just say nothing is bothering her; both due to the fact that it's completely against what she promised Matt she'd do for him, which is to be honest to him when he asks her questions. And in order to be honest with him, that means that she needs to answer his questions honestly; and she needs to tell him what's on her mind. That way, he can help her through the problems that are currently on her mind. "I'm sorry, it just feels like things are changing so fast." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, already well aware of just what she was talking about; and that would be the fact that he just changed his mind when it came to her being pregnant with their child, a huge 180.
But at the same time, it shouldn't be scary; due to the fact that it's everything that she's ever wanted, which is why Matt is perplexed when it comes to why she would be scared at the moment. "Gabby why are you scared when this is everything that you've ever wanted? You've wanted to get pregnant with our child. So, I guess I'm just a bit perplexed at the moment." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; I mean, she shouldn't be scared. Rather, she should be thrilled over the fact that Matt wants her to get pregnant now; as it means that they're finally on the same page, and they both want the same things in life. They both want to get pregnant, and they both want to have a baby with each other. But still, there's just a lot on your mind.
"I guess, what I'm mostly scared about…it's not the hypothetical pregnancy, but the reaction I'll get from you."
Matt soon realized exactly what his wife was thinking about, and that will be his reaction to the fact that she's pregnant; pregnant while she has an aneurysm, which could kill her due to the fact that she's pregnant. "Matt, I need to be prepared. At least, I would like to be prepared as much as I can. I mean, I know that you can't predict your reaction to the news; but I just…" Reaching out for her hand, Matt proceeded to grab Gabby's hand and stroked it with his thumb as a way to calm her down and just get her to breathe. "Hey, take a breath and take it easy; okay baby?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, well aware that was exactly what she needed to do at the moment. She needs to take it easy and relax, as this is not productive; her stressing about this is bad for her.
And that was why Matt was going to suggest something that may help her. "Listen, I can already tell that you're not going to want to leave right away when we're done eating; because you'd rather take a breather and talk about this, right?" Gabby agreed with Matt, as that's exactly what she wants to do. "Right." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before stroking her hand with his thumb once more. "Then how about this? Let's finish eating, then we can go to park the RV somewhere and lay down in the back for a bit." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before deciding to get up; after which, he walked over to him and went to sit down in his lap. Wrapping her arms around his neck in the process, Gabby smiled as she proceeded to kiss the man she loves softly.
"Eat up, then let's go to park somewhere. Or we can go to Detroit." Matt smiled. "I like that idea; we can just take it easy and relax on the way. Then we can talk later tonight, and just figure it out." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was going to be the case; and boy, she can't wait to get in bed with her man and just hold him close to her. But little did she know that it wouldn't be taking place in Michigan but would instead be taking place in Ohio tonight. Which was fine, as long as she got her husband.
Cleveland, Ohio – She ended up sleeping most of the afternoon, but she was still a bit tired, which was why Gabby was more than ready to get in bed with the man she loves now that they were in the city that they were going to be staying in for the night. And that was why she was currently standing next to him at the sink, wearing nothing but a robe and some lingerie, which is very sexy, and tempting to her husband as he did the dishes. (Not that he was doing them all that well, as he was distracted). Distracted by her, and the gorgeous body she has right next to him; but now, he was ready to finally hold her as he brought her body in front of him and wrapped his arm around her waist. At the same time, Gabby wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled as she held him close.
"Let me guess, not that interested in doing the dishes tonight?"
Opening his beautiful wife's robe, Matt smirked as he put his hands on her body and leaned in to kiss her softly. "Last time I checked, I'm not the one teasing my spouse. Rather, you're the one doing that my dear." Bending down, Matt smirked as he proceeded to kiss her neck softly as a way to make Gabby happy, which it most certainly did, as it made her smile. Heck, Matt always makes her smile when he kisses her because she loves him more than anything. But another thing she loves him for, is for having changed his mind. "Matt, I hope you know that you changing your mind and agreeing to have a baby means the world to me." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before bending down and kissing her neck again. "I'm just not going to think about it, and I'm just going to have faith."
Picking Gabby up in his arms after finishing the dishes, Matt set his gorgeous wife down on the edge of the counter and stepped close to her; after which, he wrapped her legs around his waist and smirked as she put her hands on his chest. After which, Matt leaned in and kissed the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, which then prompted Gabby to wrap her arms around his neck, as she doesn't want him to move. "God, I love this." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "And I love you, which I plan on showing you when we're in bed with each other." Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that, as that most certainly is something that she can see happening; especially since her husband is so hormonal, and just wants her so damn bad. "I know you want me bad."
Matt agreed with Gabby as he ran his hands down her legs, and just smirked as he leaned in and kissed her softly. "As much fun as last night was, I just have really missed my wife; and now that we're alone, I want to make up for lost time." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "I just wish we could go to that cabin in Michigan you booked." Matt agreed with Gabby, as he moved his hand to her neck; after which, he leaned in and kissed her softly. Taking things slow with his wife, Matt smirked as he went ahead and finished the dishes so that he can get her to where they both want her to bed; and that would be under him in their bed, which is something that they both want more than anything in the entire world. And now, they're on their way to getting in; when they're in bed together.
He decided to get undressed out in the main area of the RV, rather than do it in the back due to the fact that he didn't want to waste time; waste time getting undressed, when he already had his girl in his arms and being pleased by him. So that was why he was carrying his clothes from the kitchen of their RV, towards their bedroom rather than still being wearing them as he didn't want to have to stop what he was doing. And that was please his wife, which is exactly what Gabby is right now. She's extremely pleased, and very happy that this is what she's doing with the man of her dreams, and loving husband, Matthew James Casey. But she doesn't want to be in his arms much longer, at least not with him carrying her in his arms; instead, she wants his arms around her in bed.
And that's exactly what she's about to get as he carried both her and his clothes to his bags, before setting his clothes down as he continued to kiss Gabby's neck; after which, he whispered to her. "Does somebody want their husband tonight?" Gabby moaned as she grabbed the back of his head, and agreed with Matt as that's exactly what she wants. She wants Matt to please her, to make love to her tonight; as there's nothing more that he can do for her that would make her happy, well other than get her pregnant. Because if they get pregnant due to this, then she'll be one happy expectant mother. "I want you to please me baby, and I want you to get me pregnant." Carrying Gabby to the side of the bed, Matt smirked as he sat down before moving his hands to her back this evening.
After which, he ran his hands up her back and proceeded to grab her bra for her. "Like that?" Gabby agreed as she felt Matt undo her bra, before feeling him start to take off her bra; but to do that, she had to move her hands away from his chest. So that's exactly what she just did. She moved her hands away from his chest, and just held her man close to him; after which, Matt threw her bra away and proceeded to pull away from the kiss. At the same time, Gabby put her hands on the top of his chest and stared down into his eyes; meanwhile, Matt picked Gabby up and smirked as he wants to do something for her. And that would be to lay his wife down in bed. But maybe not yet. "Underwear first baby, I don't want to waste time." Matt agreed with Gabby as he sat back down.
After which, he proceeded to grab her underwear to start taking them off; but he still had to get up to do that, so he did just that while wrapping his arms around her back. But rather than have to push her underwear off, he let gravity do it's job and just had them fall onto the ground; after which, he turned around and proceeded to lay his beautiful bride down in their bed. Naked and looking so damn sexy. Meanwhile, Gabby grabbed the waistband of Matt's boxers as she wanted to take them off for him. After all, he got to take off her underwear; so, it's just fair that she gets to take off his boxers, which is exactly what she did before Matt kicked them away. "God, you are so damn sexy." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before climbing into bed with the woman he loves.
After which, he tugged the covers up on top of both of them, which is something else that Gabby wanted, but not as much as she wanted Matt to give her something. And that would be him, and all of his love, which is exactly what Matt started to give Gabby, as he rolled over on top of her and started to make love to his beautiful wife (whom he loves more than anything in the entire world). And if they're blessed with a child, whom he is more than ready to help her in the pregnancy; because the last thing that he's going to do, is abandon his wife like he did before she left to go to Puerto Rico. He still hates what he did to her and will always regret it. But right now, he's not thinking about that. Rather, he's concentrating on making love to his wife; with the hopes of her getting pregnant.
Because that truly would be a dream come true, simply due to the fact that it would mean that his dreams of being a father would come true; and that's why Matt was taking this time with Gabby tonight, just like he did the night before when they made love in Chicago. "God, I am so lucky. I get you two nights in a row." Gabby smirked as she put her hands on his face. "And you're going to get me every night until you get me pregnant, maybe even twice a night when I'm ovulating." Matt smirked, and got really excited when Gabby said that, which is why he gave her an extra hump as she said that. And boy did that make Gabby moan and scream his name. "FUCK YOU MATTHEW CASEY!" Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, while continuing to give his wife everything she wants.
Road Trip Day 2: Cleveland, Ohio
The bed was cold as Gabby woke up alone this morning, the heat that normally radiates off her amazing husband no longer being here to keep her warm like the does every single day. And that was a shame, especially since Gabby especially loves it when the duo get a chance to take things nice and slow with each other in the morning. But today, they weren't going to have a chance to do that (in bed) as Matt decided to take a shower before she woke up; and that was something that made her smile. The fact that her handsome husband is in the shower, not the fact that she's alone in bed at the moment. The fact that she's alone in bed, that was something that Gabby absolutely hates as it means that she's waking up alone; that being in complete contrast to the real way that she'd rather wake up. And that would be in her husband's arms, the way it's supposed to be each and every morning. But now, she's going to have to find her husband to get in his arms (not that she doesn't already know where he is). Rather, she can hear where he is; he's in the shower. She just hopes that he does something for her. She doesn't want him to waste all of the hot water. In fact, that brings up and idea that she likes.
Sure, the shower may be really tired; but she would rather get a bit of intimate time with him rather than none this morning, and she knows that Matt feels the same way. If he has a chance to have her in the shower with him, then he's going to accept that easily. And even better, he's probably going to (easily) want to run his hands all over her body. But first, Gabby's going to do something to him. She's going to turn him on by walking over to the shower completely in the nude. When she opens the door, her towel will be on the bed (it's very close to the shower) rather than around her body; and that will be all the payback that she needs to make sure that her husband never leaves bed ever again before she wakes up. Rather, he'll be in bed each and every morning for the rest of the trip; that's a guarantee, as she also plans to stop wearing a bra. God, she has really started to hate wearing a bra to bed (and that was even more the case when she was in Puerto Rico). While she was in Puerto Rico, she was always hot and sweaty overnight; and that made her wearing a bra unbearable. So, she ended up starting her new practice of sleeping without a bra on; and she doesn't see a reason to stop that practice.
Plus, she knows that it will definitely tease her husband more than anything. God, he's going to be so turned on when she joins him in the shower, that's just a guarantee; so, let's get over there and join him in the shower. Getting up from the bed, Gabby smirked as she made sure to grab her towel from her side of the bed; carrying it towards the end of the bed, she smirked as she went ahead and set it down where it belongs. It belongs at the end of their bed, where she can easily tease her husband. And it'll be payback, for him not being in bed with her when she woke up; and it'll also be payback for what she's going to see when she opens the door to the shower. Her husband is a real hunk, so she already knows exactly what she's going to see when he's in the shower; he's going to be nude, and that's going to be an amazing sight to see. And even better, she's going to want to run her hands all over his body. That's already something that she can guarantee for Matt, that she's going to want to run her hands all over his muscular body; especially when he's in his birthday suit in the shower. Opening the door so that she can join him after having walked over to the shower, Gabby smirked at the sight of her man.
Meanwhile, Matt decided to turn and face her after hearing the shower door open. Smirking, he looked at Gabby as he saw that she was hungry; she was hungry for him right now, and that was a sight that he always enjoyed. He knows for a fact that Gabby is madly in love with him, and she also wants to run her hands all over his body. And the truth is, so does he. He wants to run his hands all over the woman he loves so that they can take it easy with each other. God, she is so damn sexy; and he loves her more than anything in the entire world. However, there was something that he wasn't particularly enjoying; and that was the cold that was entering the shower. The shower that was warm until she opened the door, not that he's really complaining as it means that she's going to join him this morning; now, time to get her to do just that. "Are you just going to stand there and stare at me? Or are you actually going to join me in the shower this morning?" Gabby laughed when she heard Matt ask her whether she's going to join him in the shower. And that was definitely what she was going to do, join her loving husband in the shower so that they can take it easy with each other. "I'm coming in with you."
Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, looking at her as she stepped in front of him (and closed the door in the process). Afterwards, he put his hands on her hips; smirking the entire time due to the fact that his wife truly is gorgeous. He just loves show sexy she is, and how much she turns him on; and Gabby knows that she turns him on when she's naked, so that's why she's in the shower with him. Getting close to the woman he loves, he pushed her against the wall while putting his hands on her back. Putting her hands on Matt's chest at the same time, Gabby smirked as she leaned up and kissed her loving husband softly; taking things nice and slow with her, Matt smirked as he tugged Gabby nice and close to his chest. "What did I tell you? We were definitely going to be able to take a shower with each other in here." Gabby laughed, smirking when she heard Matt say that as he was right; he did tell her that they were going to be able to take a shower with each other in there. However, that was not what she wanted to talk about right now; heck, she didn't want to talk at all right now. Rather, she wants to take things nice and slow with the man of her dreams; and he knew that.
He knew that she wants to take things nice and slow with him, as he wanted to do the same thing with her; he wants to kiss her and just hold her against his chest. Bending down, he proceeded to kiss Gabby softly; afterwards, he went to grab some soap. "Not yet baby, just kiss me as we wake up. That's what I would've wanted in bed." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, moving his hand to her neck to make up for him not being in bed with her when she woke up. "Sorry I wasn't there when you woke up." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that. "You better be, because I don't want it to happen again." Matt smirked when he heard Gabby say that, continuing to kiss the woman he loves more than anything this morning; at the same time, Gabby wrapped her arms around his neck and got as close as she could to her man. God, he truly is an amazing husband; and she is so proud of the fact that he's her husband. "I hope you know that you're the man of my dreams." Matt agreed with Gabby when she told him that he's the man of her dreams, as she's the woman of his dreams. "And you're the woman of my dreams baby, and last night was a dream come true; best sex in the entire world."
Gabby laughed, smiling at him when he told her that. "Well, I'm glad that you enjoyed last night; because I know that I definitely enjoyed last night." Matt agreed with Gabby when she told him that, smirking due to the fact that Gabby truly is the woman of his dreams. He just wants to take it easy with her today, and they want to have fun with each other; but they do need to drive. "God, I am so glad that we're just going to have fun with each other today." Gabby smiled. "You mean, along with driving." Matt agreed with Gabby when she asked him that, smiling at her. "Of course we're going to keep driving baby." Gabby nodded. "I might sit in the back though, in the dinette." Matt shook his head when he heard Gabby say that, completely ready to veto that decision right away. "Not happening. You're my co-captain. And that means that you're going to sit right next to me." Gabby smiled, agreeing with the man of her dreams when he told her that. "Oh, am I now?" Matt agreed.
"Oh yes you are, you're my co-captain; and you're going to say next to me in case I need some help with driving." Gabby laughed when she heard Matt say that. "You mean, in case you want to put your hand on my leg." Matt smirked when he heard Gabby say that. "Oh shut up, and don't deny that you love it when I put my hand on your leg like I do; you love it f anything, and you find it quite sexy." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, just smiling due to the fact that the man in front of her is really sexy; and he's also very muscular, which is why she just decided to run her hands down his abs as a way to tell him that she likes what she sees in front of her. "God, I love this sight in front of me." Matt smirked when he heard Gabby tell him that. "Oh, do you now?" Gabby nodded, agreeing with her husband when he asked her that. She then stepped close to him and smirked as she went ahead and kissed him softly. Just taking things nice and slow with her man, Gabby smirked due to the fact that she loves him more than anything in the entire world. "God, I love you so much."
Matt agreed with Gabby when she told him that, smirking due to the fact that he feels the same way. God, he just loves his woman so much, and he's so glad that this is what they're doing right now. There's really nothing like the both of them taking a shower with each other; especially when it means that they're right against each other like this. This truly is something else, and Matt is so glad that Gabby agreed to take a shower like this with him. And she really means that. He's so damn sexy, and she's the luckiest woman in the entire world to have a man like this as her husband; and she has a feeling that Matt knows that. He knows that she loves him, and that she loves him more than any man she's ever loved; there's just something about him that makes her very happy over the fact that he's her husband. And that's why she loves him so damn much. She loves him because he's an amazing husband (and future father), she can just see that she's going to get pregnant.
And if she doesn't get pregnant, she's going to be amazed as to just why she didn't get pregnant; after all, Matt is the man of her dreams, and he just has this way of moving against her that makes her enjoy sex so damn much. God, the way he had his hands all over her last night; it was incredible, and there's nothing more that he could've done that wasn't exactly what she wanted. What he did to her last night was exactly what she wanted, and that's just a fact that she has to tell him. "Last night was perfect baby, and I love how you made love to me." Matt laughed when he heard Gabby say that, well aware of the fact that she enjoyed the sex that they had the night before; and he's well aware of that because he feels the same way. The way that she just made him smile was incredible. Matt is the man of her dreams, and she loves him more than anything in the entire world; and she can't wait to have a baby with him. It's going to happen; she just knows it for a fact.
Walking around the RV clad in nothing but his boxers this morning shortly after making him and Gabby some coffee (and breakfast), Matt smiled as he saw her laying down in bed wearing some sexy lingerie that he loves. God, just the way that she turns him on; she has to know that she really likes the sight of the lingerie that she's wearing for him right now. There's just no way that she doesn't know how truly sexy she looks right now, it's incredible that she's wearing sexy lingerie like that; she looks incredible in it, and Gabby has to know that. If not, she's going to know in a moment when he tells her that she looks incredible. "Wow, you look..." Gabby smirked when Matt started to look quite speechless over what she's wearing right now. "Do you like what I'm wearing?" Matt nodded, agreeing with Gabby when she asked him whether she likes what she's wearing for him right now. "Is that really a question that you think you need to ask me?" Gabby smiled at her man.
"I can just see right now that you're really enjoying the sight that you have in front of you." Matt agreed with Gabby when she asked him whether he's enjoying the sight that he has in front of her. Making his way over to her, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is exactly what he wants to do right now. He wants to get in bed with the woman of his dreams, and he wants to hold her close as they enjoy a nice breakfast with each other; and he has a feeling that Gabby knows that he wants to hold her close, especially when she's sitting up at the moment and turning him on even more; that being due to the fact that he can see more of the lingerie. The more of the lingerie that he sees, the more he's turned on...and that's just a fact. Setting the toast that he made for the both of them in the middle of the bed, Matt got in bed with Gabby and smiled. "We don't have to leave too early if you don't want to." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling as he told her that. "Whenever."
Matt agreed. "At the end of the day, I'm the one that chooses when we leave." Gabby looked at her man when he said that, a bit shocked that he even said that. "Oh really?" Matt nodded. "Last time I checked, I'm the one that's driving." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling due to the fact that they are both so happy with each other right now. There really is nobody that Matt would rather spend his days with. He just wants to take it easy with the woman of his dreams, and that's exactly what he's doing right now; after all, they are sitting together in bed after having a round of sex in the RV shower. "So, do you think that we can talk about something that you told me last night?" Laying down on his side, Matt tugged the covers up on top of him and just looked at his beautiful wife. "Care to be more specific babe?" Gabby took a breath as she looked at Matt. "God, I am not sure why I even want to talk about this." Matt looked at Gabby.
But, he could see that she was also having a bit of trouble in expressing just what she's trying to tell him. So, he decided to reach out for her and tell her that he's here for her. He's here to support her and love her more than anything in the entire world. That's just a fact, and that's never going to change; and she needs to know that. "Hey, you okay?" Gabby took a breath when Matt asked her if she was okay, and she was; but she was also in a bit of a state of shock after last night. "It was about the comment that you made last night." Matt agreed with Gabby when she told him that, well aware of just what comment she's talking about. She's talking about how he told her that he's okay with them going ahead with trying for a baby. He knew that was going to throw her a bit, so he's been expecting this conversation. "I'm not going to lie and say that I wasn't already expecting this conversation. "Gabby was shocked when she heard Matt tell her that he was expecting this."
"Really?" Matt nodded when Gabby asked him whether he was really expecting this conversation to happen between the both of them. "Of course I had a feeling that this conversation was going to come up babe, this was a huge change for us; and I'm not going to lie and say that I wasn't a bit surprised that I didn't get something a bit more than what you gave me." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, taking a breath as she looked at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. She then slipped closer to him, putting her hand on his chest. "I'm just worried that you're going to change your mind, and go back on your word." Matt shook his head when Gabby asked him if he was going to go back on his word. "Gabby, I'm not; I promise you that right now. I know what that would do to you if I decided to go back on my word, as it would mean that I would just break your heart all over again." Gabby agreed with Matt, taking a breath when he said that.
"I hate to say that it would be the truth, as it definitely would break my heart if you changed your mind when I'm getting ready to try; because I'm excited for the possibility of us getting pregnant. And Matt, I want to just say this; I promise that I will be safe." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that. "Can I be honest with you?" Gabby agreed. "About the reason? I think I remember what you said last night, but I forget after all the celebrating I did with you." Matt laughed, agreeing with her when she said that. "It's because I didn't want you to think that I didn't believe in you baby, because I do believe in you. I believe in you more than anybody, and I just hated that I might've made you feel that way." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, taking a breath. "I'm not going to lie and say that it didn't make me feel the way, but after hearing what you said...I can understand your point of view too. I just want to say, there's no decisions that need to be made yet as I'm not pregnant; and we won't know if I'm pregnant until at least the end of the month." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that. "Yeah, when we go to the hospital." Gabby nodded. "Yeah, that's something I want to mention."
Matt took a breath. "How you're going to want to check at the hospital before you even tell me if you're pregnant?" Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that. "I mean..." Matt looked at her. "You'll have to tell me baby, because then I'll understand why we're going to a hospital. It's not like you can just take over the RV and go to a hospital without me knowing. And if you think that you can just sneak away in the middle of the night, you're out of your mind...especially when we don't know anybody around here. If it was Chicago, when I would be okay with it; because we know people at the hospital, but not here...or wherever we are." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, proceeding to grab some more of her breakfast. "I understand that Matt, and I promise that I won't go somewhere without me telling you." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife when she said that. "What do you say we finish eating? Then, we can cuddle for a bit before we go?" Gabby agreed with Matt when he asked her if they can finish eating, then they can cuddle for a bit before they get going.
She was laying down right next to the man of her dreams with the sheets on top of them, but that didn't mean that Matt wasn't currently enjoying the lingerie that she was wearing for him right now. In fact, he was absolutely loving the lingerie that she was wearing for him. He had his hand on her hip, and he was running his hand up and down her body. God, her body in this is absolutely breathtaking, and Gabby knew that Matt was happy that they're in the midst of cuddling up to each other right now. And Gabby also knew that he wanted to take things easy with her. He wants to run his hands up and down her body as a way to tease her. But that was not all Matt was doing right now. He was letting the traffic move past a bit, with the hopes of them not getting too stuck in the traffic; and Gabby was well aware of that, as she thought it was a good idea too. But that was not the only reason that she was okay with it. She was okay with it as it meant she got some kisses from her husband. Kisses that are just perfect. She wants Matt to take things slow with her, and he's doing just that.
Reaching up, Gabby put her hand on Matt's neck as she kissed him slowly. God, the feeling of her lips on his is exactly what Matt wants to feel right now; and they both know it. Gently stroking his wife's leg, Matt smiled as she was wearing some more lingerie that he likes; and he knew why she was wearing it. She was wearing it because she wanted to tease him, and she wanted to make sure that he wanted her tonight (which he definitely will). Just smiling at "his girl", Matt smiled as she's very beautiful. "I apologized for May right?" Gabby looked up at her husband when she said that. "What do you mean baby? We're already over the fight." Matt shook his head. "I mean with the Sylvie situation. I still hate what happened." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, well aware that he was still hurt by the fact that she didn't tell him about the abuse that she was getting from her partner on Ambo 61. "Gabby, had you told me; I would've gotten her transferred." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, still seeing that it was really weighing on him right now. "You okay baby?"
Matt sighed as he grabbed Gabby's hand, proceeding to intertwine their fingers. "I just feel like I failed you." Gabby looked up at Matt when he said that he felt like he felt like he failed her. "Hey, I don't want you to feel like you failed me. I mean that baby, you didn't fail me; I promise that I don't feel that way." Matt took a breath, sighing as he heard Gabby say that. "Gabby, just because you say that you don't feel like I failed you; doesn't mean that I don't feel like I failed you. It's something that I'm going to have to remember all the time, and just how much I failed you months ago. Gabby, it's not a time that I'm proud of; and that's why I'm glad that we're taking this time away. Time where we can just reconnect and be with each other. I feel like it's what we need right now, time to reconnect. I already feel so much closer to you than we were while we were in Chicago, especially when we can't be disturbed by our friends; they really didn't help." Gabby agreed with Matt. "Yeah, we needed more date nights." Matt smiled at her. "Maybe we can talk about a schedule?" Gabby smiled.
"I love the idea of us talking about a schedule for our date nights. But can we also have spontaneous date nights at home?"
Matt's POV:
When Gabby asked me if, along with the date nights that we're going to schedule; if we can have spontaneous date nights at home, I smiled because that sounded like the perfect idea for the both of us. And I mean that with my entire heart. There's nothing better than the idea of us having spontaneous date nights, as it's exactly what we need. We need to have spontaneous date nights with each other, because it will really spice up our marriage; and that sounds like a lot of fun. "I have to say, I really like the idea of spontaneous date nights, as I have this feeling that it will definitely spice up our marriage." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that. "Yeah, I feel the same way; I feel like it'll make our marriage healthier." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, smiling at the woman I love more than anything. "And I also believe that I'd be fun to get out, but it has to be without our friends; I don't want double dates, I want to have dates just as husband and wife." Gabby agreed with me, just smiling due to the fact that she must love the idea. "I can see that smile on your face. And I can only assume that it means that you like my idea for more dates? Dates just the two of us."
Gabby agreed with me when I asked her if she liked the idea of dates where it's just the two of us. "I absolutely love the idea of date nights with just the two of us, because that's what we need when we're married. We need date nights where it's just husband and wife time." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, smirking as I bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with her, I smirked until we were disturbed by my phone. "Oh c'mon." Gabby laughed when she heard me say that. I then went ahead and rolled over to check who it was. "Oh, sorry baby...it's my sister." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Then pick up." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, going to answer before smiling as I sat up so that we could talk to my sister. "Hey sis." I then heard Christie speak to me. "Hey, where are you? I thought we agreed to meet up on the day you leave." I was confused. "So, that's why you weren't at our place yesterday." Christie sighed when I said that. "God, you were leaving yesterday. I feel like an idiot now."
I laughed a bit with I heard that. Well, until Gabby punched me. "Matthew!" I smiled when she said that. "Thanks Gabby. Listen, I'm off to work. But I just wanted to tell you guys to be safe. And let me know where you guys are around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Maybe give me like a week heads up, and me and Violet can fly down to be with you. Also, can you make sure that it's close to a hotel?" I laughed. "We were thinking of doing it in either California or Florida." I turned to look at Gabby when I said that, wanting to make sure that I was saying the right things to my sister. "Yeah, that's the plan baby." I agreed with her, smirking as I leaned in and kissed her softly. Afterwards, she went ahead and went to grab her coffee. "We're on our way to Florida right now actually, so it'd probably be California as my best bet." Christie agreed. "Sounds good. I mean, unless you want to go to Hawaii so you can hit 49 of the 50 states. I know that's your plan."
Gabby agreed with her. "We were thinking the same thing. And I like the timeline. But, like we said, we'll have to let you know. Right now, we're going to Florida and we might stay for a while, having a bit of fun with each other there." Christie agreed with Gabby when she said that. "Well, don't have too much fun. Or you know what, do have too much fun; I want a niece or nephew!" I laughed when she said that. 'Trust me, we're trying!" Christie agreed with me when I said that. "Love the sound of it. Can't wait for the stork! Now listen, I'm getting close to work. I didn't want to call too early." Gabby then spoke up. "Christie, time difference. It's 10 here." Christie then realized that. "Right, makes sense now. But I hope you guys have a good day. Give me updates on where you guys are." I smiled. "We're in Cleveland right now." Christie agreed. "Ok, well stay safe and let me know when we can talk. Love you guys." Gabby smiled. "I'll text you the blog I'm writing."
I turned to look at Gabby when she said that. "You're posting a blog?" Gabby nodded, smiling at me. "I already posted about yesterday last night. I did it over supper. Now, your sister needs to go; and we need to get on the road." Me and Christie both agreed with Gabby when she said that. "Text me the link Gabby. And I hope to see you at Christmas. Bye guys." I agreed with her. "Love you sis." I then went ahead and hung up, looking at Gabby. "So, you're doing a blog about our travels?"
