It has been a week since the "incident".
Today, Lynn Jr. would have been turning 14, but isn't celebrating that fact due to being grounded.
Lynn wakes up and goes to the bathroom, being met with the typical morning line-up. Luke was in the shower first, and he was taking his time.
Lynn groaned, knowing Luke was doing it on purpose.
Luke soon emerges from the bathroom and goes to Luna's room to get dressed for the day.
Luke heads downstairs as Lucy appears out of nowhere "Hey, Luke." Lucy says to Luke.
Luke smiles weakly at Lucy. "Morning. Did you see Lynn isn't celebrating her birthday today?"
"I saw. She deserves everything that's coming to her." Lucy says. "Serves her right."
Lucy sighed. "Mom forgot to close the door last week and one person recorded the whole thing." Lucy says.
Luke looks at Lucy. "Who did it?" Luke asked.
"Girl Jordan." Lucy says as she turns on the TV and turns it to the news. There was breaking news.
"This just in, someone has sent footage of a boy named Luke to this very news station." Katherine soon plays the footage.
Luke was sobbing while Rita goes to him.
Everyone gasped.
"Yes, all because of bad luck. It's a good thing that child services are coming to pick up Luke and get him away from that awful home." Katherine says.
"No…" Luke says.
"What?! No! I don't wanna lose you, Luke!" Lucy says.
Suddenly, there were lots of news cameras and crews around the house.
Child Services arrived as a blonde woman came out. She walked with some men in black suits. She then knocks on the door as Rita answers it.
"Hello?" Rita asked as the woman looked at her sternly.
"Hello, my name is Sally Anderson. I'm with the Royal Woods branch of Child Services." the woman says to Rita. She comes in and begins to inspect the house.
She goes to Lincoln's room and doesn't see too much wrong, but notes that it was small.
She then inspected Lola and Lana's room.
There was only one bed in it due to Lola's bed being sold. The animals were already taken to the local shelter.
Sally went to Lucy's room and noticed blood on the bed and a coffin as she took note of it.
She then goes to Luna and Luan's room, but Luan's pranking materials are gone and the only thing in the room was Luna's pictures of Luke, along with Luna's instruments.
She goes to the guest room and notices the burn marks were still there. The bed was charred beyond recognition, and several melted toys and trophies lined the top of the burned-up dresser. All of Luke's clothes and shoes were burned up as well.
"My God..." Sally says and sighed.
"Boys, I want Luke removed from this house. It's not safe for him." Sally says. Sally's workers soon take him out of the house. Luna and Lucy are tearing up as this is happening.
"And bring those two as well." Sally says to the men. "Luke is close to them, and I think they would be good company for him."
"Not my babies!" Rita sobbed as the siblings looked ashamed. Lily was confused.
Luke, Lucy, and Luna are loaded into a blue van and are being driven to a big building. They soon arrive to a big building with a blue logo saying Child Services.
Luke, Lucy, and Luna were in awe. Sally soon sits the three of them down in her office.
"I have arranged for you three to live with Miss Charity Huntington. She was Luke's biological mother. And she will be a good fit for you three." Sally explained.
"That sounds fair." Luna says, looking relieved.
Luke was smiling a bit. Charity soon enters the office, dressed in a purple sweater, lavender pencil skirt, black leggings, and lavender heels, with her auburn hair in a French twist style adorned with jeweled hair clips.
"Mommy!" Luke shouts, blubbering.
"Oh, my beautiful little piece of sapphire treasure!" Charity says, embracing Luke. "What did they do to you?"
Luke explained everything.
"Bad luck?! Hogwash!" Charity says. "I will make sure that they get the karma that they deserve. For now, let's get you and these young ladies home. I have rooms all set up for you."
"Bye, Miss Anderson." Luna says as Lucy says nothing.
Charity took them to the car as Luna sat in the passenger seat. Luke and Lucy sat in the back. Lucy passed out as Luke was bouncing with excitement.
They soon arrive at Huntington Manor. Charity gets out and allows the butlers to get Luke and the girls' things. They take their things to the rooms the three of them will be staying in.
Lucy slowly woke up as she rubbed her hair and looks around.
"Whoa!' Luna says before remembering. "Crud! I forgot to tell Sam!" Luna says. Luna calls Sam.
Sam was listening to her new Mick Swagger album when she saw her phone go off and picked it up. "Hey, what's up?" Sam asked.
"You won't believe where I am!" Luna says to Sam.
"Where?" Sam asked curiously.
"Huntington Manor!" Luna says.
"Why are you there?" Sam asks Luna.
"Long story, but you should see the news. Last week, Lynn blamed Luke for being bad luck, and then she burned all his stuff. So, he, Lucy and I got sent here." Luna says.
"I'm happy for you!" Sam says. "But is Luke OK?" Sam asked.
"He's doing a lot better." Luna says.
"I gotta hang up." Sam says and hangs up.
"Dad, I need a ride!" Sam says.
Sutton obliges and takes Sam to Huntington Manor.
Rita was crying when Pop-Pop came.
"I heard the news. I'm so sorry that happened." He says hugging Rita who sobs.
Lucy was walking around as she fell into the pool and came out coughing.
"Are you okay, sweetheart?" Charity says, running in with a towel and some dry clothes.
Lucy nods, but accidentally touches her face instead. Charity dries Lucy off and gets her into the set of dry clothes.
"Sorry." Lucy says, embarrassed.
"It's all right." Charity smiles and picks Lucy up. "Want to see your room?"
Lucy nods.
Charity carries Lucy into her room. The bed was covered with black and white striped bedsheets and a silver comforter patterned with black roses. There was a writing desk in one corner and a shelf of poetry books in another. A wardrobe full of dark clothes and shoes awaited in a nice walk-in closet, and Edwin sat on one of the bedside tables. The walls were gray and black striped and the floor was dark wood. Dark red artificial roses were in a crystal vase that sat on the dark wooden antique-look dresser.
"What do you think?" Charity asks Lucy.
"I barely see anything." Lucy says as Charity just now noticed the problem. Lucy's hair had been damaging her eyesight. Charity then cuts Lucy's bangs and gives her a pair of glasses.
"Better?" Charity asks Lucy.
Lucy nodded as she could now see her room.
"This is wicked." Lucy says before starting to look ashamed of her look and eyes.
"You have no need to be ashamed of how you look. You look wonderful, Lucy." Charity says, smiling.
"Thanks. That means a lot coming from you." Lucy says as she hugs Charity. She then lays on her bed.
Meanwhile Sam arrived with Sutton. Luna smiles upon seeing Sam.
"Lunes!" Sam says with a smile.
"Sammy!" Luna said and ran over to her.
"This house is huge!" Sam says, surprised. "I can't believe you live here now!"
"I know, right?!" Luna says.
Luna shows Sam her room.
"Whoa!" Sam says, looking around.
Luna's room was like a shrine to Mick Swagger, British culture, and rock music. Posters of the singer adorn the music note-designed walls and a Union Jack-themed bed was adorned with pillows themed around music and Mick Swagger. There were instruments that had once sat in Luna's room at her old house, set up on a personal stage. Her closet held a wardrobe fit for a future rock & roll legend, and she even owns one of Mick Swagger's designer jackets. Shelves of records sit near a record player, and a big Union Jack flag hangs above Luna's dark purple dresser.
"Damn, this looks amazing…" Sam says, in awe of Luna's room.
"I know! Miss Charity is planning my Sweet 16, wouldn't you know it?" Luna says, grinning.
"Where's Luke?" Sam asked.
"Luke is in his room. He's still taking in the fact that he gets to live in his biological family's mansion." Luna says.
Meanwhile Lucy goes to Luke's room and gasps, looking around.
"Gasp!" Lucy gasped.
Luke smiles. "Welcome to my room, Lucy. Isn't it grand?"
Lucy sees it's painted Arctic blue and is themed around Ace Savvy and the Arctic Avenger, Luke's favorite heroes. The bed is themed around Ace Savvy, complete with card suit bedsheets and pillows, and Luke's initials at the top of the curtain rod. Figures of the entire Full Deck adorn his shelves. Three pristine white trophy cases are in one corner of the room, displaying pageant and talent contest awards won throughout the years. A practice stage sits in the other corner of the room. Two closets contain his pageant wardrobe and his regular wardrobe respectively. A chaise lounge sits in front of a huge picture window as his room has a stunning view of the backyard. Bookshelves hold all the latest issues of the Ace Savvy and Arctic Avenger comics, as well as some of Luke's favorite books. A huge plush polar bear sits on one side of Luke's bed.
"You look different." Luke tells Lucy.
"I was long overdue for a haircut." Lucy says as Luna and Sam come in.
"Hi, Luke. Cool room!" Sam says. "How are you doing?"
"Great!" Luke says.
"Hey, Lucy." Haiku says walking in. "Wicked hair style."
"Thanks." Lucy says.
Soon it was dinnertime as Haiku and Sam were allowed to stay.
"So…I heard that SOMEONE is turning 16 tomorrow…" Charity says with a smile as she eats her chicken cordon bleu. "Who could it possibly be, hmmm? Could it be someone in this room?"
Luna raised her hand.
"Ah, so it's Miss Luna!" Charity says. "You're just going to be the most beautiful teenage queen! I can just feel it!"
"Aw, thanks…." Luna says, blushing modestly.
"As a pre-birthday treat, I'm letting Sam stay with you tonight. AND we're going to watch that new rock documentary DVD set I got you." Charity smiles. "While we have root beer floats for dessert, since they are your favorite."
"Aw, thanks, Miss Huntington…." Luna says as Haiku's mom came to pick her up.
"See you tomorrow, Lucy. My mom is here to take me home." Haiku says.
"Farewell." Lucy says.
After dinner, Luke watches the DVD set with Luna and Sam.
"Mick Swagger is a legend…" Luke says with a smile.
"He's the best!" Luna says.
"I have the album that contains songs he performed when he was first getting into the music industry." Luke says.
Luna and Sam look at Luke, wide-eyed.
"REALLY?!" They both say with huge smiles on their faces.
Luke nods. "Wanna go listen to it in Luna's room with me?"
" Yeah!" Luna and Sam say, excited as can be.
Luke, Sam, and Luna spend most of the night laughing and listening to the album.
At the Loud house, Rita is realizing what tomorrow is, which makes her cry all over again.
"I'm going to miss my daughter's Sweet 16…" she sobbed. "I blame LJ for getting her sent away!"
Albert puts a comforting arm around his crying daughter.
Leni looked down from the staircase as she missed Luna, Lucy and Luke.
"This is your fault!" Lana yelled at Lynn.
"You just HAD to blame Luke." Lori says as Leni comes to defend Lynn.
"Leave Lynn alone." Leni says.
" Why? She ruined our lives." Lori says.
"We're to blame, too." Leni says.
"Yeah, but burning a room is one step too far." Lola says.
Lynn began to sob as Leni held her.
"We're all to blame for the way we acted toward Luke after Lynn's game." Lori says. "And now, we're making Mom miss out on the one birthday that Luna only celebrates once."
Lisa sat in her room eavesdropping as she really didn't seem to care, but she sighs and thinks about what her mom said about acting her age and took out a serum that she hid.
"If it makes things right, this will be all over for me." Lisa says and drinks it as she falls over.
A few minutes later, the siblings were looking over Lisa as she woke up "Hi, guys." Lisa says differently.
"What's wrong with Lisa? She seems odd." Lana says.
Lola took a look at the empty serum bottle and tried to read it, but couldn't.
"It says drink at your own risk." Lori says as she puts two and two together.
"Lisa must have taken away her smart brain power." Lincoln says.
"Why?" Leni asks.
"Mom did tell her to act her age." Lori says.
"But, what is her age?" Lincoln asks.
"A kid." Lori says.
Luke was soon working on his gift for Luna once Sam and Luna had gone to bed.
"She will love this." Luke says.
"Hey, sweetheart. What are you doing?" Charity says, coming into Luke's room.
"Making Luna's gift." Luke says. "It's rock music on DVD's. I'm putting all her favorites on them."
"How thoughtful, sweetie! I'll leave you to it." Charity says as she kisses Luke's head and leaves his room.
