Hi Readers: What did you guys think of the last two chapters that I just wrote for you guys? Well, I love that I wrote them, because they most certainly had to be written. Heck, I am still shocked at how long that flashback chapter was because it was over 8,000 words. But now, after a family blog post; it's time for us to return to present time, where we can concentrate on our family today.
Chapter Three Hundred and Twenty-Seven
Late-Morning Snack Time
Casey Primary Suite – Even though he just ran into his niece in his boxers (when he was in the backyard with Andy), Matt didn't care as this is his home; and that means that he as every right to walk around in his boxers, if he chooses to do so. Plus, it's really comfortable; and that's why he's currently walking around in his boxers, as he walked into his and Gabby's room. But that wasn't the only thing he was doing at the moment, as he was also noticing that Gabby was currently on her laptop, which isn't something that he's seen her do in a while. "This is a surprise." Turning her head to look up at Matt, Gabby watched as he closed the door to their room; after which, he started to make his way over to her in their bed (while Gabby inquired about what he meant). "What are you talking about?" Matt snickered. "You're using your laptop, which isn't something that you do all that often." Gabby agreed with Matt and smiled at him.
After all, that is the truth. She doesn't use her laptop all that often, but there was a reason why she was on her laptop; and that was due to the fact that she did a couple things, including updating her blog. "So, are you working or just reading?" Shaking her head, Gabby snickered a bit as she most certainly isn't working. "I most certainly am not working, not on my maternity leave." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before walking over to her side of the bed; after which, Matt smiled as he went to set Gabby's plate on her side table. And this prompted Gabby to both close her laptop a bit, while also turning her head to see what her husband brought for their snack; and she had to say that she loves the snack he brought her, as he made her some egg sandwiches. "Oh, egg sandwiches." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, as that was exactly what he made for the both of them today.
"I thought that would be something that you'd like to have."
Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling as he leaned over her and putting his hand on her neck; after which, he kissed her softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, and just smiled at him as she put her hand on his face. "I love you too." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before kissing her forehead softly; after which, he stood up and smiled at his girl. "Here, you want me to pass your plate to you?" Gabby agreed with Matt, as that was exactly what she wanted him to do; so, he did just that. He grabbed her plate of food and went ahead to give it to her so that she could eat. "Here you go my beautiful wife." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, while he also leaned over her and proceeded to kiss her; after which, Matt stood up and walked around their bed so that he could climb in. "So, what did you do on your laptop? Or are you going to keep me guessing?" Gabby snickered.
"Matt, you already know what I did; because you got the e-mail."
Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before moving to climb into bed with the woman he loves; after which, he leaned against his pillow and just smiled as he got comfortable in bed. At the same time, Gabby turned in bed and leaned against her side; however, that was easier said than done, due to the fact that she was still a bit sore at times. "Hey, you okay?" Taking a breath, Gabby nodded. "Yeah, just a bit sore still." Moving to set his plate down on the bed, Matt realize what she needs right now. "Here, I'm going to get you something baby." Turning her head, Gabby looked at the man she loves. "No, Matt, I…" Matt shook his head, as he wasn't hearing that; he was not going to let Gabby say that she was okay, when she's clearly in pain right now. "Gabby, you're in pain." Gabby sighed as she heard Matt say that, before agreeing with him. "I know that I am, but…" Making his way over to bed, Matt sighed this morning.
After which, he looked down at her while he stood next to her; moving his hand to her neck, Matt bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "Baby, you're hurting." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know I am." Matt nodded, before kissing her forehead softly. "Baby, let me help you so that you aren't in pain anymore. Please babe, let me go get you some pain meds." Gabby agreed with Matt, really hearing the pleading that was in his voice; and that meant something to her, because she knew that he hated to see her in pain. And honestly, that was the last thing that she wanted for him; as she didn't want him to have to see her in pain, as that means that she's (indirectly) hurting her husband by having to make him watch her suffer. So, she's going to take medicine; medicine that she really needs to take, so that she feels better.
"I can go for some pain medication."
Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, before smiling at her. "How about you take some bites of your food? I'll be right back with some pain meds for you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, while he leaned over her and kissed her forehead softly, which is something that Gabby absolutely loves the feeling of, simply due to the fact that it's the best feeling in the entire world. "I love you Matt." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling at her. "How about you start eating? I'll get you some paint meds." Gabby shoo her head. "I'm going to wait until you're back, as I want to eat lunch with you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; after which, she smiled as she watched the man of her dreams walk away to the bathroom. And she has to say that she absolutely loves the sight of him wearing tight boxers. And damn, does she love when her husband is in tight boxers.
"Damn, that is still such a turn on. You wearing tight boxers, and just walking around the room like that."
Shaking his head, Matt snickering as he walked up to the counter; after which, he proceeded to grab the pain medicine. He then proceeded to put one in his hand and smiled as he turned his head. "Well, be lucky that you're the only woman who gets to see that for the rest of your life." Gabby then went to make a joke. "Well, not too sure about that since your sister just had to see you in your boxers." Matt snickered as he heard Gabby say that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I am well aware that was the case; and I am pretty sure that she was not the happiest about that." Gabby agreed with Matt, before smiling as she watched him come out of the bathroom with her pain medicine. "Can you grab your water for me?" Gabby agreed with Matt, as she reached over and grabbed her water bottle. Meanwhile, Matt finished grabbing some pain medication for his wife and came back out of the washroom for her.
After which, he smiled as he watched Gabby open her water bottle. "Here, I made sure that I got the right one. This is the strong one." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before going to grab the medicine from her. "I'm just surprised that the doctor gave me pain meds." Matt agreed. "I asked them to give some to you, as I want you to be comfortable. But tomorrow, I think I might ask you to try and go without one." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before biting her lip. "Maybe we can just take it easy, and I can take them when I need to take them." Matt agreed with Gabby, before smiling at his beautiful wife; after which, he moved his hand to the side of her face and leaned over her to kiss her forehead softly. "I love you Gabby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, while he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with Gabby, Matt smiled as he's really happy right now.
"God, I am so happy that this is what we're doing right now."
Gabby agreed with Matt and smiled at him. "Listen, how about you get in bed, and we can talk about what I did on my computer." Matt laughed. "Babe, I already know what you did. You updated your blog." Matt then proceeded to walk around the bed once more, before going to grab the covers. He then proceeded to sit down with her and then covered himself back up, before going to look at the food. He then proceeded to grab his plate and went to start eating, just like Gabby. "So, what was your blog update about?" Gabby laughed a bit as she heard Matt ask her that, as she doesn't know where to start. "Last time I checked, you did read it already but god, it really went everywhere; and that's due to the fact that I just wrote what was on my mind as I wrote." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "Yeah, I can tell. You were talking about our doctor friends, then CA and the new companies." Gabby agreed with Matt.
Meanwhile, Matt continued. "Then you brought up all of the names in our family, and then you brought up Sylvie and mention that she got engaged; and how the hell do you know that?" Gabby laughed. "I'm friends with her fiancé." Matt was confused. "You're friends with her fiancé?" Gabby agreed. "He used to be the Chicago Fire Department's Deputy Chaplain, he's now the Chaplain." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "And did you ever interact with him?" Gabby agreed. "Great guy, and I wanted to make sure that he didn't get stuck with that woman. But I am just waiting for her to complain to me." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, before going to let her know something. "I already blocked her number from all of our phones, so she can't reach out. And I also blocked her e-mail from all Casey e-mails, so she can't get a job." Looking at Matt, Gabby was quite surprised as she heard that.
But at the same time, it was also quite smart; and she was glad that he did that. "I hope you know that I really appreciate you doing that." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "Gabby, I wanted to do it for you; because I wanted to make sure that she can't get anywhere near this company, she is not someone I trust." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, while he leaned in and proceeded to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling at her. "I love you too and I am so glad that this is what we're doing right now, because we need to relax and just take it easy." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that, and just smiled due to the fact that they are going to relax and take it easy with each other. "Listen, let's finish eating; then I want to cuddle up to my husband, and hold him close."
Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, well aware that was what she wanted to do; and that's due to the fact that he wants to do the same thing. He wants to cuddle up to woman he loves, and just hold her close to him for the rest of his life. But little did Matt and Gabby know that they weren't the only couple who were enjoying a late morning snack right now.
Miller Primary Suite – Walking into his and Sarah's room shortly after getting a snack for both him and his pregnant wife, Ryan smiled due to the fact that he was really happy at the moment; happy that he and Sarah are pregnant with their first child, whom Ryan really wants to be a boy. Yes, you heard that right; he wants to have a boy, rather than a daughter. But that's due to the fact that he wants to have more babies with his beautiful wife, including a daughter; but right now, he needs to just concentrate on this baby that he and Sarah are having. And that means that he needs to make sure that Sarah has enough food in her, to allow their baby to grow. "Here, I got you something to eat for the sake of our baby." Turning her head away from the TV, Sarah agreed with Ryan and smiled at her husband; at the same time, she slipped over in bed so that she could send her husband a message; a sexual message.
And that message would be that she wants him to join her in bed, which is something that Ryan wants to do as well. But first, he decided to set the food down on their bed; after which, he sat down on the bed next to Sarah and smiled at her. "So, why exactly aren't you just climbing into bed with me right away?" Smirking, Ryan put his hand on her stomach and stroked it with his thumb. "I'm just really happy right now and I want to think about this little one here." Sarah smiled as she heard Ryan say that, she put her hand on top of his and just smiled; after which, Ryan put his hand on the side of her head and leaned in to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Ryan smiled as they are both really happy with each other. "Listen, how about you start eating and I'll let Rosie in. Then I can get in bed with you, and we can enjoy a snack with each other." Sarah agreed with Ryan as he said that.
Getting up from their bed, Ryan smiled as he put on of his hands on the top of their headboard; while also putting a hand on Sarah's neck, before bending down and kissing the woman he loves. "I love you." Sarah agreed with Ryan as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I love you too, and I am so glad that you're not working right now." Ryan agreed with Sarah as she said that, while also getting up so that he can go let Rosie into the house. And that's exactly what he went to do, as he walked over to the door so that he could let Rosie into their house. "C'mon girl, come inside." Barking, Rosie agreed as she walked into the door before walking over to her bed so that she can relax; while at the same time, Ryan closed the door and then turned to look at Sarah as she sat down in bed and ate her snack. "You look quite comfortable there." Sarah laughed as she heard Ryan say that, because she is very comfortable.
"I am very comfortable here in bed, but not as comfortable as I could be."
Snickering, Ryan agreed with Sarah as he already knew what she was talking about; and that would be that she wants him in bed, which is exactly what he wants to do as well. He wants to hold the woman he loves close to him, and just take it easy with her. "So, you ready to just hold each other as we relax?" Sarah agreed with her husband as he asked her that, before smiling as she watched him make his way over to her. "Well, I most certainly am. Now are you going to join me in bed, or do I have to take off your dress shirt to get you in bed?" Ryan smirked as he heard Sarah say that. "Oh, you most certainly do." Sarah laughed as she heard Ryan say that, before shaking her head as that's not going to happen. "As much as I love you, I am not sure I want to take it off until you're in bed because I'm not sure whether I want to be exposed." Ryan smiled as he heard Sarah say that, before walking over to their bed.
After which, he proceeded to open the covers so that he can get in bed with the woman he loves; after which, he proceeded to get close to her and wrapped his arm around her. Closing the covers, Ryan smiled as he turned his head and then kissed the side of her head. "Comfortable now?" Sarah agreed with Ryan as she proceeded to grab some of the snack, and then took a bite; meanwhile, Ryan proceeded to do the same time and just smiled as they both took some nice time with each other. And right now, this is exactly what they both want to do right now; they both want to hold each other, and just relax together. "So, what are you thinking about right now?" Turning her head, Sarah smiled as she looked up at the man she loves. Meanwhile, Ryan bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves. "I love you, and I am so glad that we have this time with each other." Sarah agreed with Ryan and smiled at him.
"Listen, how about we eat? Then we can hold each other some more and just relax."
Ryan smirked as he heard Sarah say that, before looking at the man she loves. "I think I would like to cuddle up to you and just hold you close, as we cuddle up to each other bed and remind each other that we love each other." Ryan was a bit confused as he heard Sarah say that, unsure of what she means by that. "What do you mean by that?" Sarah smirked as she proceeded to put her hand on the side of his face; after which, he leaned in and kissed her again. "I love you." Ryan agreed with Sarah as she said that. "I love you too, now let's eat as I'm ready to hold you in my arms and just relax with you." Sarah laughed, well aware that her husband is impatient; so she just went ahead and proceeded to do exactly what he wanted her to do, he wanted her to eat and just relax with him. "Well, I think that's exactly what we're going to do." Sarah agreed with Ryan, before smiling as she turned her head.
After which, Ryan turned his head took and proceeded to kiss her forehead softly. Kissing it again, Ryan just smirked as they are both extremely happy right now. "I promise you right now, I don't plan on working today." Sarah agreed with Ryan as he said that, before looking up at him. "Good, because I want my man to do just that. I don't want you to work, and instead want you to concentrate all of your love and attention on me." Ryan smirked as he heard Saray say that, before bending down and kissing her shoulder softly; after which, he turned his head and kissed her neck softly. Meanwhile, Sarah leaned back and put her hand on his neck as they both held each other close. Turning her head again, Sarah smiled as she leaned in and kissed her man softly. "I love you so much." Ryan agreed with Sarah, before kissing her again. "I love you too, now let's eat so that we can cuddle in bed." Sarah agreed with her man.
After which, she proceeded to do just that; she proceeded to eat the snack that her husband made for her, so that she can cuddle up to him as they talk about their future. Their future with a family. Because that most certainly is something they can't wait to have.
