It was a nice day in June as Rita was driving to see her kids.

"Are you ready for this?" Albert asked.

"Yeah, I am." Rita says.

They soon arrive. Rita knocks on the door.

"Please come in." Charity says with a smile.

"Thank you." Rita says and comes in.

Luna gasped. "Rita…." she says as the other siblings look stunned. Lucy runs to her room, slamming the door behind her.

Luke was nervous. "Don't hurt me!" He says.

"I won't." Rita says as they look at each other.

Lincoln comes down first.

"Hi, Rita. Hi, Pop-Pop." Lincoln says calmly.

"Hey Kiddo, how are you doing?" Pop-Pop asked.

"I'm fine." Lincoln says.

"I'm so sorry I didn't come sooner. I was recovering from an injury." Rita says.

"I forgive you." Lincoln says as he hugs Rita.

Lana and Leni came down and hugged Rita.

Luke just looks more scared.

"It's ok. I'll protect you." Luna says.

Luke shook and faced Rita.

"Hi, Luke." Rita says.

Luke hesitates before hugging Rita. Rita hugs back.

Lisa just waves and goes to hug Pop-Pop.

"So, has anything new happened lately?" Rita asked her kids.

"We celebrated birthdays, Luke got famous…." Luna started talking about everything.

Lucy hid in her room as she was not ready to see Rita, not after nearly killing her.

"This can't be real…" Lucy says.

After a while, the kids go out with Pop-Pop, so it's just Charity and Rita now.

"So, how have things been with you?" Charity asked Rita, offering her some tea.

"Honestly, things have been awful…between getting injured and having to live with my dad, things are just bad." Rita says. "I'm glad that the kids are doing good, but I just want to be able to be part of their lives again at some point. I'll understand if some of them aren't ready for that yet, but it would be nice to be part of their lives again, even if it's only for a day." Rita looks down, sad.

"I understand, but Luna isn't ready to trust you yet and Lucy thinks you died. She still has nightmares about it." Charity says.

"Oh, I guess that makes sense." Rita says.

Meanwhile Pop-Pop took the kids out for some fun. Luke is a little sad.

"What's wrong, little dude?" Luna asked him.

Luke hisses and walks away.

"Luke, wait!" Lincoln says as he and Luna follow him.

"LUKE WILL HATE!" Luke screams and walks further.

"Bro!" Luna said and ran faster. Luke ran further away.

Luna sighed and looked down. "Why does he hate me?" Luna sobbed.

"It's not you he hates." Lincoln reassures Luna.

Meanwhile, Lucy slowly came downstairs step by step as her body shook. She finally made it to the bottom and walked up to Rita and Charity, startling them. Lucy looks nervous and runs to her room. "I'm so sorry!" Lucy sobbed.

"Rita, I think you need to talk to her." Charity says. "It might help fix things."

Rita nods and goes to talk to Lucy.

"Lucy, we need to talk." Rita says as she goes to Lucy.

"I nearly killed you. I was scared you would hurt Luke just like the others did…" Lucy sobbed.

"Lucy, I wouldn't dare hurt Luke. You know that." Rita says.

"I'm really not sure if I can trust you, but I'll try." Lucy says to her.

Meanwhile with Luke, he was looking in the window of a cake shop, hissing.

"I WANT MY BIRTHDAY NOW! NOW! NOW!" Luke screamed and sobbed.

The siblings exchanged worried glances and had just thought of something.

"What month is it?" Leni asked.

"EVERYONE FORGOT ABOUT TODAY! YOU ALL ARE MONSTERS FOR FORGETTING LUKE! LUKE WANTS A FAMILY THAT GIVES GOOD PARTIES!" Luke sobbed as he soon ran off in tears.

"We are monsters for forgetting…" Leni says

"I'm a horrible sister…" Luna says.

"What's wrong?" Albert asked the kids.

They explained that they forgot Luke's half-birthday. Albert nods, understanding the problem at hand and agrees to help make things right.

That evening, Luke sits in his room at dinner, crying.

"I can't believe they forgot…." Luke sobs.

"Happy half-birthday, Luke." Lucy says.

Luke looks at Lucy. "What are you doing in my room?" He asks her.

"I wanted to talk to you earlier, but I never got the chance." Lucy says.

"This day has been horrible…." Luke says.

"Luke, you should come downstairs." Lucy says.

"Why?" Luke asked.

"You'll see." Lucy says.

Lucy led him downstairs as there were decorations for Luke and a banner with his name and a picture of his face on it.

"What is this?" Luke asked.

"Happy Half-Birthday, Luke!" Everyone, even Ronnie Anne, says as they all toss confetti at Luke and smile at him.

"For me?" Luke asked. "This is a wonderful surprise…."

The party begins with music being played by Luna. Luke is still looking around.

There were gifts, food, and party games. There was even the cake Luke saw at the cake shop.

"This is an incredible party." Luke says as he gets a Coke off of one of the tables and drinks it.

"I hope nothing ruins this day." Luke says.

Later, Luke overhears Luna talking about a concert being held tonight. Luke hisses and looks at her.

"NO! NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO LEAVE! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!" Luke screamed at Luna. "I THOUGHT MY DAY WAS IMPORTANT TO YOU AND THE OTHERS!"

"It is!" Leni says as Luna sighs and agrees to stay.

Later, Luke opens Charity's gift. He hisses at it as it's a sweater.

"A SWEATER?! I DESERVE MORE THAN JUST A RANDOM ASS SWEATER!" Luke screamed. "IS EVERY GIFT CLOTHES?!" Luke asked as he angrily opened them all.

He sees at least three other gifts were clothes, only liking the new outfits Leni made for him. The rest of them ranged from toys to books, and there were even video games, Ace Savvy and Arctic Avenger figures, and another Nintendo Switch system.

Lucy reads him a poem calming him down.

"Do you know how old I am, Luce-Luce?" Luke asks her.

"You're 11 and a half." Lucy says.

Luke smiles and hugs Lucy. Lucy hugged back.

Some time later, Rita and Albert get ready to leave.

"Kids, I gotta get Pop-Pop back home. It was nice seeing you all " Rita says as the kids except Lucy, Luke, Lincoln and Luna hug her.

Luna still held malice on Rita. "Just don't lay your hands on my siblings. I still consider you an enemy." Luna says.

"But I didn't kick Luke out…" Rita says

"What about the other things, huh?!" Luna says "Like how you treated Lincoln.'' Luna says.

"Enough!" Pop-Pop says. "We should go now, Rita. It's getting late."

While that was happening, Luke was teaching Lucy how to play Animal Crossing.

"I don't think this is my thing, but it makes you happy, so I like it." Lucy says.

Luke smiled. "Awww, thanks…." Luke says as he hugs Lucy again.

Soon, everyone sits around the table, where Luke's favorite dinner was being served. As Luke eats his enchilada casserole, he looks around the room.

Lana was playing with Hops and Lincoln and Clyde were playing handheld video games.

Lucy was looking at Luke. Luke looks at Lucy before finishing his food.

After dinner, Lisa goes to her room and comes back pushing a big box.

"Oooooh!" Luke says with excitement as he sees the big box. "What is it?! What is it?!"

Luke opens it and sees a snow maker. A smile splits across his face.

"Wow!" Luke says."It's amazing! Thank you, Lisa!"

"You're welcome!" Lisa says.

Leni was hanging up the piñata, which looks like Wild Card Willy. Luke hisses at it menacingly.

Luna hands Luke a bat, and Luke swung hard at the pinata. He soon breaks it into pieces, hissing the whole time.

"Nice job!" Luna says as Luke takes his share of the candy. Luke hisses in response before sitting down at the table again.

Soon, the lights went off as Luke looked around. "What's going on?! Luke wants to know what's going on RIGHT NOW!" Luke shouts.

The cake was soon revealed as it was an Arctic blue velvet cake with 11 and a half candles. Luke begins to hiss angrily at the cake.

"What's wrong?" Lucy asked.

"EVERYTHING!" Luke shouts.

"Sorry…" Luna says as the Louds all look down.

Luke hisses at the cake some more.

"What did we even do?" Leni asked.

Luna looks at the cake as Luke keeps hissing at it. "It's the wrong cake…."

"I'll get the right cake." Lucy said and walked off.

Lucy comes back later with the cake. It said happy half-birthday Luke.

Suddenly, Luke was flashing back to his 5th birthday.

Luke's cake was destroyed as his ex-parents began beating him up. He sobs and sobs and begs for mercy.

"Luke! Luke! Luke!" Lincoln says as Luke was on the ground, shaking.

"DON'T LET THEM TOUCH ME!" Luke screams and keeps shaking.

Luna held him. "Hey, Luke, it's okay." Luna said.

"How do we calm him down?" Lincoln asked.

Luna sees that tomorrow is the day Luke truly turns 11 and a half.

"Tomorrow will be better." Luna says.
