It was the next morning. Luke woke up and smacked his lips as Luna walked into his room with his half-birthday breakfast assembled on a silver tray.

"Breakfast in bed?! Amazing!" Luke says. "Happy Half-Birthday, Luke!" Luna says.

Luke smiles and blows the candle out on his half-birthday pancakes as he wishes for all the attention to be on him today.

Luke begins to eat as he soon gets a flashback.

Flashback #1: Luke is eating a plate of waffles on his half birthday, when he was turning 4 and a half. Tears are visible on his face and Rita pushes his face into the stack of waffles as she laughs cruelly at Luke. Luke cries.

Luke starts to sob uncontrollably.

"Luke, Luke!" Luna says, holding him as she's trying to calm him down. "Shhhh….don't cry…."

Luke sniffed. "They will hurt Luke…."

"I'll protect you." Luna says.

Luna helps Luke get ready for the day.

Soon, Luke heads downstairs and turns on the Ace Savvy animated series on TV, finally able to relax.

Lincoln came downstairs. Luke hisses at him. "Happy half-birthday, Luke." Lincoln says.

Luke looks at Lincoln. "Thanks." Luke says.

"No problem. Oh, the Ace Savvy series!" Lincoln says.

"I like it a lot…." Luke says.

"Same here." Lincoln says.

Meanwhile, Leni was walking to check on the other siblings. She checked on Lana, who was fixing the pipes.

"Hi, Lana." Leni says.

"Hey." Lana said before getting back to work.

Leni then goes to check on Lily, who was playing with her toys.

"Hi Lily, how are you doing?" Leni asked.

"Wiwy okay." Lily says.

Luke finishes watching TV, and starts reading a book on the couch.

Lucy walked past Leni and went up to the attic, got a bag of gifts for Luke, and climbed out the window and headed to the water park where Luke's party would take place.

Leni goes to check on Luke. "Hi, Luke, happy half-birthday!" Leni says.

Luke smiles a bit. "Thanks." He says.

Meanwhile with Luke's friends, they were wrapping gifts for him.

"Luke is going to be impressed!" Garrett says.

"I know!" Oliver says, smiling.

"He'll love these gifts!" Ronnie Anne says.

With Luke, he has another flashback.

Flashback #2: Luke is waiting for his party guests to arrive on his seventh birthday. 2 hours passed, and no one showed up to the party. Luke is enraged and brokenhearted at the fact that his guests hated him and didn't want to be around him. Rita and Lynn Sr. sent him to his room for the rest of that day, leaving him to cry, and he didn't receive any gifts or cake that year.

Luke starts to sob at the thought of that happening again.

Leni came in to see Luke in tears.

"Luke!" Leni says and holds him.

"They'll all forget me a-a-again!" Luke sobs.

"Luke, listen, that's all in the past. I won't let that happen, just take deep breaths…" Leni says as she begins comforting Luke.

Meanwhile, Lucy was putting balloons up as Lincoln helped her.

Clyde came up to Lincoln and smiled "Hey, Lincoln, what's going on?" Clyde asked.

"We're just decorating for Luke's real half-birthday. Wanna help?" Lincoln says as Clyde smiles.

"Of course!" Clyde says and helps with the decorating.

Leni finally calmed Luke down, and was still hugging Luke.

Luna walks into the room. "What happened, Leni? Is Luke all right?" she asked.

"Yeah, he had another flashback. It's not fair that Luke suffers these memories when he's about to be happy…" Leni says.

"I know." Luna says. "What if he ends up doing it at his party? That won't end well if it does happen…"

"It's not like we can prevent it." Leni says.

"We'll have to watch him." Luna says.

Lisa came up. "Or we just make sure nothing goes wrong." Lisa says.

Lincoln and the others finish with the decorations.

"Okay, all done!" Lincoln says as he and Clyde fist bump.

"This will definitely please Luke." Stella says.

"He'll be so surprised!" Sid says with a smile. "I can't wait to see the look on his face!"

"We need to get him here somehow." Rusty says.

"But, how do we do that?" Stella asked.

"Leave that to me, his favorite sister." Lucy says, scaring them before she walks off.

Lucy arrives home and goes to see Luke. She knocks on his door.

"What do you want?!" Luke asks from behind the door.

"I have a surprise for you." Lucy says.

Luke just cries.

Lucy came in and hugged Luke. "Sigh, I know the past has been cruel, but you can't let it win. I'm not going to stand back anymore." Lucy says and looks down

Flashback #3: Lucy was watching as most people treated Luke badly. She wanted to say something, but couldn't. She was too afraid as she teared up, feeling useless.

Lucy leads Luke outside as they begin walking to the water park. Everyone hides as Lucy and Luke get close.

When Luke arrives, he begins thinking that they left him.

"I knew it….it happened again…." Luke says sadly.

They soon pop out of their hiding spots. "Surprise! Happy Half-Birthday!" They all say as Luke gasped.

"You guys came for me?" Luke asked.

"Yeah, bro, of course we did!" Luna says.

"You're our friend!" Oliver says

Luke smiled at them. "You guys mean a lot to me…." Luke says.

The party began with Luke and Ronnie Anne dancing and Lincoln and Girl Jordan dancing.

Lucy just watched as Lana played with Hops. Sam twirled Luna around.

Lisa began to breakdance as Darcy clapped.

Luke soon gets in his swimming shorts and goes swimming with his friends and family.

Sam kisses Luna on the cheek as Luna smiles.

"I want kisses, too!" Luke says as Ronnie Anne hugged him and kissed him. Luke giggles and blushes.

Later, they go on some water rides, which excites Luke.

Luke sat next to Luna on the water slide, smiling.

The ride begins as it goes on a loop. Lucy watches while standing by the snacks.

Luke screams with excitement. Luna screamed as well and smiled at Luke.

Soon Luke was spraying Lana with a water gun as Lana ran away, laughing.

"I'm gonna get you!" Luke says as he chases Lana.

"Ha, you'll never take me alive!" Lana says. Luna watches with a smile

"Looks like Luke is enjoying himself." Lincoln says, breaking the 4th wall.

Later, Luke got the first hot dog.

"Mom, this is amazing." Luke says.

"Thanks, cupcake. I'm glad you're happy!" Charity says.

Soon, everyone begins to eat. The sun gets brighter as Charity applies a special sunscreen on Lucy due to her being sensitive.

"Hey, Luke, I'm heading to a ski resort this winter. Wanna come?" Sam asked.

"When?" Luke asked.

"December 17th " Sam says.

Luke hisses in response and runs away.

"Luke, wait!" Sam says, running after him. She then holds his hand. "I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. You don't have to come if you don't want to." Sam says.

Luke looks at Sam. "That's what I wanted to do for my 12th birthday. But you wouldn't understand that, would you?"

"Oh,we can do that instead. Honestly, Lucy told me she planned something else so I was worried, but we can totally take you to the ski resort. We've yet to get tickets." Sam says.

Meanwhile

"Hey, Lincoln, when did you guys find Luke anyway?" Zach asked.

Lincoln began to think of when they first saw Luke.

Flashback

It was a dark night at the Loud House as the usual chaos was going on. A younger Lori was looking at books, Leni was trying to get out of the closet, Luna was watching cartoons, and Luan was making funny faces for Lynn and Lincoln. Baby Lucy crawled to the door, feeling ignored by her siblings. She then heard sobbing outside and tried to stand, but she couldn't as she just looked at the door until Luna came and picked her up.

"Luce-Change, that's the 5th time you've attempted to run away…." Luna says as Lucy turns her head to the door.

"Someone's out there?" Luna asked. Lucy nods.

Luna opened the door to see a young Luke sobbing.

"Come in…." Luna says, not hesitating to pull the young boy inside while holding baby Lucy.

This caught everyone's attention.

"Luna, you can't bring strangers in here." Lori says.

"Lori, he's hurt and scared." Luna says as Luke sniffed.

"Fine, you set him down somewhere. Luan, get some hot cocoa ready. Lincoln and Lynn, get some blankets." Lori says as her face turned green and she held her nose. "And someone change Lucy, please." Lori says.

After a while, they managed to settle Luke down and warm him up. Lori ended up having to change Lucy.

"What's your name?" Luna asked.

"Luke." The boy says.

"Luke!" Lucy says and everyone gasps.

"Lucy's first word!" Lincoln says.

Luke shivered.

"Hey, it's okay, we'll take care of you." Luna says

"Yeah, we'll make sure you never cry again." Leni says.

"Amazing…" Stella says.

"So, that's why Lucy likes Luke so much." Haiku says, scaring Lincoln as he screams.

Meanwhile, Sam went to Charity to talk about the ski resort.

"Of course we can go there, Sam! It sounds amazing!" Charity says.

Luke soon opens Garrett's gift "A surfboard, cool!" Luke says.

He then opens Lucy's gift, which was a new bike. "Awww, Lucy, thanks!" Luke says.

Luke then opens Ronnie Anne's gift. It was a new skateboard since his old one broke.

"Thanks!" Luke says.

Later the ice cream truck came as Lucy went to the front of the line and ordered Luke's favorite ice cream.

"Peppermint ice cream! My favorite! Thanks, Lucy!" Luke says.

Lucy handed it over. "Luke, I love you." Lucy says.

"I love you as well, sis." Luke says as he eats his ice cream.

Soon, it was piñata time as Lucy took out the piñata and hung it up.

"Okay, Luke!" Luna says. "Hit it!"

Luke smashed it, causing candy to fall out. This caused everyone to cheer.

Luke begins to eat some candy as he smiles, thinking of the fun he's been having.

"Having fun?" Lisa asked.

"Yeah…" Luke says.

Soon they sat at the table as the lights were off. Lucy held Luke's arm.

Flashback 4: Luke was getting ready to blow out the candles at his 8th birthday party, but Leni tripped and fell in the cake as Luke sobbed.

The room soon lit up to show a chocolate cake with 11 and a half candles. Luke is sobbing with the siblings wrapping him in a sibling hug.

Ronnie Anne and Sam joined in as Charity does the same.

"We're all here for you, Luke!" Lincoln says.

"We won't let anyone ruin this day." Charity says

"That's a promise." Lucy says.

Luke calmed down and saw his cake.

"This looks amazing…" Luke sniffed as Lisa handed him a tissue. He then blew his nose.

Soon, Lucy lit the candles as everyone began to sing.

"Happy half-birthday to you, happy half-birthday to you, happy half-birthday dear Luke, happy half-birthday to you!" They sang as Luke had tears of joy in his eyes.

Luke thinks of a wish as he looks around and thinks of something he hasn't achieved, mainly appearing on TV as Luke always wanted to appear on Audition.

Luke blew his candles out as everyone cheered. As soon as that happened, Lincoln ended up tripping and falling into the cake, and Luke screamed very loudly.

"I hate you all!" Luke screams and runs away.

"Luke…" Lucy says, looking down.

"Luke, wait, I'm sorry!" Lincoln says. "I didn't mean to!"

"I'll make a second cake." Charity says as Lucy helped Lincoln up. "We need to follow Luke, he's heading to the airport…" Lucy says as they and Luna run after him.

Luke was at the airport. "I knew they hated Luke…" Luke sobbed.

Luna, Lincoln and Lucy arrived panting as Lucy fell

"Go on without me." Lucy says, looking for her glasses.

Lincoln and Luna run up to Luke.

"Luke, wait, little dude!" Luna says

"No! You failed me!" Luke sobbed as Lincoln looked ashamed.

"Luke, I'm really sorry that happened. I didn't mean to trip into the cake. I really do care for you." Lincoln says.

"Yeah, we'll make you a new one. Please give us one last chance…." Luna says.

Luke thinks.

"Okay, I'll give you guys one last chance." Luke says as Lincoln hugged him.

They soon walk towards Lucy who was resting and sweating.

Luke and Lincoln helped Lucy up.

They soon arrived home as the lights were off. The room then lit up as the cake was remade to look better than the last one.

Luke smiles a bit.

"Happy half-birthday to you, happy half-birthday to you, happy half-birthday dear Luke, happy half-birthday to you!" They sang as Luke had tears of joy in his eyes.

Luke thought of a wish and wished for the cake to stay alive and blew out his candles as everyone cheered. Lucy stopped Lily from tripping.

Soon, everyone was enjoying the cake.

"Thanks, everyone…Lincoln, I'm sorry for lashing out at you for tripping. I know you had zero intention of doing so, it's just that seeing the cake destroyed caused so many bad memories, you know?" Luke says

"I get it. Sometimes Lynn ruined my birthday." Lincoln says

"Sigh, you guys always forced me to celebrate." Lucy says.

"Sorry…" Lincoln says.

"Anyway, how was today?" Leni asked.

"It was awesome." Luke says.

Ronnie Anne smiled as Sid came. "You're invited to my birthday next week." Sid says to everyone but Luke.

Luke just watches as Sid gives out invitations. He then storms up to his room without a word, going up to get ready for bed.

That night, Luna was tucking Luke in. Luke was awfully quiet.

"Luke?" Luna asked, concerned.

Luke sniffles and quietly hisses in response.

"What's wrong?" Luna asked.

Luke finally snaps. "IT'S NOTHING, OKAY?!" He shouts.

Luna sighed and left the room, going back downstairs.

Charity and Lincoln were busy taking down Luke's half-birthday decorations and storing them away when Luna came back down.

"Is everything okay, Luna, dear?" Charity asks her.

"Luke's upset and he won't tell me why." Luna says.

"Maybe he'll tell me." Charity says as she goes up to Luke's room, allowing Luna to help Lincoln.

Charity knocks on Luke's door. "Sweetheart? Can I come in?"

"NO!" Luke screamed. Charity comes in anyway.

"Honey, why are you so upset? You know you can tell me anything." Charity says to Luke.

"I've never been invited to a party…and Sid invited everyone but me. No one likes me!" Luke sobbed

"I'll talk to Sid's mom." Charity says.

"What difference will that make? No one likes me, Mom…" Luke sobs.

"Ronnie Anne never loved me…" Luke sobbed

"Luke, sweetie, that's not true." Charity says.

"She can go to that stupid party! My siblings can go to that stupid party! I'm just going to stay here and think about how I don't have anyone who is willing to BE friends with me!" Luke sobs harder.

"You have Garrett, Oliver, Stephen, and Remy. Have you forgotten about them?" Charity asked, putting an arm around Luke.

"Those are my BEST friends. I'm talking about everyone else!" Luke sobs.

"Sometimes too many friends can be a bad thing." Charity says. "But I'm sorry you're feeling left out, cupcake."

She stays with Luke for the night.
