A world with quirks means its people are wind up rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Mina Ashido is a vivacious hero in training. 43. Tsuyu Asui (Froppy)

A.N. — Happy birthday, Froppy, owner of probably the best hero name of Classes 1-A and 1-B. Too bad the calendar is rather full now, 'cause I wanted to pair at least one of Tsu's family with her. I could do a homesickness drabble, but I'll save that for one of her siblings instead.

43. Tsuyu Asui/Froppy

Tsuyu Asui was proof that not all mutation quirks were viewed negatively. Her frog mannerisms, brightly colored costume, and blunt manner of speaking all made Froppy one of the most approachable young heroes. When dealing with panicking disaster victims, all these traits shone through.

Tsu, though, was just quietly happy that their focus wasn't on her more... interesting features, like the regurgitating stomach, cold-induced hibernation, or the various mucus effects she could produce. She could be herself and be the kind of hero she wanted to be. In the water or out, Froppy was truly an amphibious all-rounder.
