A world with quirks means its people are wind up rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Mina Ashido is a vivacious hero in training. She's equally enthusiastic about her classmates' love lives.

45. Manami Aiba (La Brava)

A.N. — I feel sorry for today's birthday character. She's an adult yet under 4 feet tall, has the simplest quirk name (Love), and gets the cliched Valentine's birth date 'cause of it. So here, La Brava gets some much-needed depth beyond stalker/hacker girl.

Some villains got arrested; La Brava got rehabilitated.

The police and Hero Public Safety Commission saw a valuable asset in someone who could hack into UA's systems and whose quirk powered up those she loved. Manami saw Danjuro's lies during his arrest as an out from shooting and editing videos destined to be barely watched. She truly cherished the relationship she had with Gentle, but his was a sinking ship. Her feelings weren't enough to keep it afloat any longer.

Manami had experience with getting her heart broken. At least this time, she was doing it on her own terms.
