On August 12th, Lola woke up groaning with the other orphan kids.
"Where are we?" One kid asked.
"I think we're in New York. Oh, well, we can start fresh, no Luke or anything to hold me back. I hope Lucy's still alive." Lola says.
"What if the lady finds us?" A kid asked.
"They won't, we are set for life." Lola says.
With Luke, he hissed at the siblings.
"What's wrong, did we forget one of your events?" Lana asked.
"NO!" Luke says. "You are leaving me alone again!"
"I was actually just going to invite Clyde over to play video games. You can join us." Lincoln says.
Luke grinned. "Yay!" He says.
Soon, Clyde came over. "Hey Lincoln, Hey Luke." Clyde says.
"Hi, Clyde." Lincoln says as the trio is soon playing video games.
Lana was helping Sam take care of some animals.
"I'm going to enter the talent show with Hops." Lana says. "Are you entering it, Sam?"
"With Luna. We practiced for weeks." Sam says.
"Sweet." Lana says.
Later, Luke got bored and hungry before hearing about this. He thinks about entering.
Lana walked and saw a cute boy named Cormorant. She blushed a bit and gets shy.
She goes home, lovestruck.
"Hi, sweetie. Is something going on?" Charity asked Lana.
Lana looks down. "I saw a boy." she says.
"Who is he?" Charity asked.
"He's called um….um…." Lana says as Luna comes.
"You mean Cormorant?" She asked.
Lana nodded. "That's it. Cormorant." She says.
Lincoln had a magic trick ready for the show.
On the day of the talent show, Lincoln gets ready. Luke gets ready as well.
"I'm going to show my sisters I have a talent." Lincoln says.
Luke feels very nervous.
"What's wrong?" Luna asked.
"Nervous…." Luke says.
"Everyone gets nervous, it's perfectly fine." Luna says.
Luke hisses and runs off.
"Mom, Luke ran off." Lana says.
"This isn't his first talent show." Charity says.
Soon, it was beginning. Lana made Hops do cool tricks as people cheered. Lincoln glared as he needed to win.
Luke stared at the other contestants, feeling really unconfident.
"What if I don't have what it takes?" He thought.
Lincoln did magic tricks as the crowd was amazed.
Luna and Sam played their guitars and sang their favorite rock and roll songs.
Oliver soon came up as Luke watched him.
Oliver performed "Memory" from Cats. The crowd was amazed. Luke just looked away.
Soon it was Luke's turn. He still felt like he couldn't do it. He began to shake.
Luke gets ready and appears on stage. He then sings "How Long" by The Eagles, the crowd hanging on to his every word.
People cheer for him.
Soon, Luan acts like a mime on stage.
Luke is backstage, fearing he didn't do well.
After a while, the results came in. Despite his best efforts, Luke finished in 2nd place, while Lincoln won 1st.
"I did it! I won! I beat my sisters!" Lincoln says as Clyde smiled.
"Showoff…" Lana muttered.
"Not cool, bro." Luna says, rubbing Luke's back
Oliver leaves, but not before seeing how sad Luke looked. He now considers Luke a friend. And he knows how it feels to win second place.
Lincoln sees the siblings leaving him and gets hurt by this.
"I thought they loved me. The one time I win, they leave. I'm always there for them…." Lincoln says. Lincoln is unaware they're planning something special for him, despite being annoyed with him. Luke was with Oliver at this point.
Later, Lincoln enters the house. He saw how dark it was and went to find the lights.
He turned on the lights. "Surprise!" The siblings say.
Lincoln looked shocked by this. "What is all this?!" He asked.
"We're celebrating your victory! And also giving you a make-up birthday." Luan says.
Lincoln was speechless. His sisters had never done anything like this for him before.
"I'm going to check on Luke, he seemed hurt." Leni says.
"He went to spend time with Oliver. We'll see him in a little bit." Luna says. "Right now, it's Linky's time to shine!"
The party soon begins.
With Luke and Oliver, Luke was admiring Oliver's movie posters. He didn't want to admit it at first, but he had a favorite movie that Oliver did.
Luke hears about Lincoln's party and mentally broke.
"It's not fair!" Luke sobbed. Oliver immediately goes into "comfort" mode and begins to reassure Luke and hold him.
"Do you want to eat ice cream and watch Eighteen Candles, my new teen comedy movie I filmed in New York before my move here?" Oliver asked.
"Do you have mint chocolate chip ice cream?" Luke asked Oliver.
"I have a freezer full of different flavors. You can take your pick of any flavor you want." Oliver says as he smiles.
"Lead me there." Luke says, smirking.
Back at the party, Lincoln had opened all his presents and there was now a video game tournament going on.
"You can win!" Leni says. Lincoln smiles.
Lincoln wins a lot of the games.
With Luke and Oliver, Luke is laughing at all the funny parts in Oliver's movie while eating his favorite ice cream.
"You're good!" Luke says.
"Thanks." Oliver says. "Wanna come to my premiere in a few weeks?"
Luke nods and smiles.
Meanwhile Lincoln opened Leni's gift. It was the only gift he didn't open earlier. He opened it to reveal a new Ace Savvy costume.
"Awesome! Thank you, Leni!" Lincoln says.
"You're totes welcome!" Leni says.
Everyone then sits down to eat the food that Luan made. She made all of Lincoln's favorites.
"This is really amazing." Lincoln says.
"Thanks." Luan says.
Soon, Lincoln eats the food as Luan dims the lights.
"Hey, what's the big idea?" Lincoln asked.
The room fills with singing as Luan walks in with an Ace Savvy-themed cake that she made, 12 candles shining brightly on it.
"No way…" Lincoln says. "Is that really for me?"
"Yeah!" Leni says.
"Make a wish, Linky!" Luna says.
Lincoln thinks of a wish as his siblings are smiling at him. He then blows out his 12 candles as they all cheer.
With Luke and Oliver, Luke was a little jealous of Oliver's awards, but didn't feel sad or angry.
"I wish I could be like him…" Luke thought.
