Hi Readers: I hope you guys enjoyed yesterdays chapters. Sorry that there were only a couple, but I'm ready to keep going with today's chapters. I hope that you guys like them and are ready to give them a shot, as I hope to give you more than two chapters. Let's hope I do just that as we continue this story and keep following Matt & Gabby's new chapter in Chicago with all the twists and turns that come with it. Chapter Three Hundred and Forty-Three
Need Some Help?
Walking out of the bathroom shortly after finishing up in the shower, Matt smiled as he absolutely loved the sight in front of him; as it was the sight of his gorgeous wife putting one of his dress shirts on top of her lingerie, and let's just say that really turned her husband on. I mean, what husband doesn't LOVE the idea of his wife wearing HIS clothes. But it was also for another reason, and that was due to the fact that he loved the lingerie that his wife was wearing; because it was lingerie that he was going to get a chance to enjoy later. But right now, he and Gabby are on their way out of the house for a while; and that's due to the fact that they just feel like they need to get out and get some fresh air. But they only realized that thanks to Andy, and him bringing his leach into their room. And him doing that made them both realize that it was a great idea, as it was something easy that they can do as a couple as they just take it easy.
As they take it easy and relax with each other, because that's exactly what they need to do together right now. They need to relax and take it easy as they celebrate Valentine's Day in March; yes, that's a thing. Well, at least for them it is; because that's what he and Gabby are celebrating today, Valentine's Day in March. And there's nothing else that he'd rather celebrate today, while getting some quality alone time with Gabby; even though he also knows that this secretly doubles as the day where he gets his birthday sex, but he's fine with that. And that's due to the fact that it means that he's going to get to spend more time with his kids on his birthday…and that's something that he wants to do more than anything, as he loves being a father; a father to his and Gabby's four beautiful children: Matteo, Noah, Bella, and Sofia. But right now, he wants to take a bit of time with his wife, which is exactly what he's doing.
He's spending some time alone with Gabby, as they take some "mommy-daddy time" with each other; where they are nothing more than lovers, really sexy lovers. I mean, do you really expect Matt to not expect SOME action when they're celebrating Valentine's Day in March? Well, that's definitely what he's going to get later; but right now, he's concentrating on what he needs to do in the present. And that would be to give his beautiful wife the help that she needs…in doing up her shirt. "You need some help?" Looking up at Matt as she stood at the end of their bed, Gabby sighed before agreeing with him as she does need some help with her shirt. The stupid shirt that just refuses to co-operate with her, but might co-operate with Matt; after all, he's an expert when it comes to shirt buttons…both when he does them up and undoes them so that they can get sexy with each other in bed. Only time will tell.
"Maybe these stupid buttons will co-operate with you."
Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, clearly hearing the frustration in her voice, which is why he decided to do something prior to doing up the shirt; and that would be to walk right up to her and move his hands to her sides inside the shirt. After which, he tugged her body right against his with the hopes of calming her down; or at least, pleasing her and changing her mind a bit when it came to the frustration that she was just feeling of the fact that she didn't seem to be able to do up her own damn shirt. And that was due to the fact that it allowed her to concentrate on something else, the man she loves; the man who's chest she just placed her hands upon, prior to leaning up and kissing him softly. "I love you." Moving his hand to the side of Gabby's face, Matt smiled as he leaned in and kissed her softly. "I love you too, but you need to breathe babe." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before doing as she was told.
She breathed for a moment, while trying to relax. After which, Matt moved his hand to her neck once more and kissed the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, which is something that he doesn't need to tell Gabby for her to know, to know that he loves her more than anything in the entire world. But right now, she needs to know something else; and that would be why in the world she can't do up a simple shirt, when she's done it thousands of times before. Heck, she's even done it while pregnant; so, why can't she do this shirt up. "Okay, now you need to help me as I'm starting to really loose my mind over how I can't do up a shirt." Matt smirked as he looked at Gabby, as he already knew the answer to that question; and it was a very sexy answer, related to the fact that this wasn't her shirt. Rather, it was one of his shirts, which is the reason why she was having trouble doing it up in the first place.
"Well, first of all, I want to point something out to you."
Looking up at Matt, Gabby was confused. "And what might that be?" Matt smirked as he went to grab the shirt she was wearing and started to do it up for her. "Well, there's a reason that you're struggling to do up the shirt, and that's due to the fact that you're doing it backwards." Gabby was confused as she heard Matt say that, before looking down and thinking that he meant that her shirt was inside out. "Oh, thanks babe." She then backed up and went to go take off the shirt, until Matt stopped her. "Hey, that's not what I mean; and you most certainly are not taking off this shirt, when you look sexy in it." Gabby was confused as she heard Matt say that, as how can she look inside in a backwards shirt? "Okay, I'm lost. How can I look sexy, when I'm wearing my shirt backwards?" Matt smirked as he looked at his wife. "Because you're not wearing MY shirt backwards." Gabby then realized what Matt was saying.
He was telling her that she was doing up the buttons backwards, not that the shirt was backwards; and that was because it wasn't a blouse, but it was one of his dress shirts instead. "Oh, now I get it." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, while completely doing up the shirt for his beautiful wife; after which, he proceeded to bring her body against his and wrap his arms around her. Meanwhile, Gabby wrapped her arms around his back and smiled as she looked up at her loving husband; the husband who just wrapped his arms around her as he wanted to hold her close as well, and that was exactly what Matt was in the midst of doing right now. Holding his beautiful wife close to him, as they cuddled up to each other. "Well, I love this feeling." Matt agreed with Gabby and smirked.
"Oh, let's face it; you just love the fact that you're in my arms right now."
Grinning, Gabby agreed with Matt while stepping close to him and moving her hands up his back even more; while at the same time, Matt bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I saw that you were wearing something under there, might it be for me?" Gabby agreed with Matt, as the lingerie that she was wearing under her clothes most certainly was for him; and that was due to the fact that they're celebrating Valentine's Day in March, and she wanted some later. "Later, I want you. I want you to take me in your arms, and I want to end our night in the bath." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, as that most certainly is something that he can do for her. "But only after I do something romantic for you." Gabby smiled. After all, she knew exactly what he was talking about; and that would be him making her a nice supper, a romantic supper to be precise.
A romantic supper that they get to enjoy, just the two of them; that is, just as soon as they figure out the answer to a certain question. And that question would be: "Wait, how are we going to get your mom to let us have the dinning room to ourselves?" Matt bit his lip, as he hadn't thought about that. "I'll talk to her." And that was when he heard his mom come upstairs, seemingly with perfect timing. "Sorry, hope I'm not disturbing. I was just coming to talk to Gabby…" Looking at her son, Nancy Casey could clearly see that she was disturbing. "And I am disturbing, I'm sorry." Turning around to face Nancy, Gabby shook her head. "No, it's okay. Matt actually needs to talk to you." Matt agreed with Gabby, as he does; however, Nancy was confused as she didn't know why. "You do?" Matt agreed. "Yes, I do. But how about first you start." Nancy smiled as Matt asked her that. "I need to steal Gabby for a minute." Matt was confused.
"And why do you need to steal my wife for a minute, mother?"
Nancy snickered. "Well, I've had plenty of time on my hands; and I've been working on making the prototypes for the fall line. I just finished some for the Casey Baby line, and I was going to show some to Gabby." Gabby smiled as she looked at Nancy, loving that idea. "I love that idea." But first, Nancy wanted to know why they needed to talk to her. "Okay, I spoke first. Now, what are you talking about Matthew?" Gabby snickered as she heard her mother-in-law say that, before turning to look at the man who plans on spoiling her tonight. "You want me to give you guys a minute?" Matt agreed with Gabby as he wrapped his arm around her back, before proceeding to bend down and kiss her softly. "Stay up there, I want to see them too." Nancy shook her head. "They're in the dinning room, need to have more space." Gabby agreed with Nancy, before walking over to her so that she could thank her mother-in-law.
After all, she's such a big help; and just one of the many supporters of her venture, which she will always be grateful for. Something that she showed Nancy by giving her a hug this morning, which surprised Nancy at first due to the fact that they don't share hugs that often. "You okay Nancy?" Nancy smiled. "Sorry, still getting used to hugging you I guess. It's not something I'm used to having from anybody other than my son. I mean, yes I've been living with you for a while but…" Gabby smiled as she heard Nancy say that, well aware of what she was trying to tell her. "Well, I promise you that's going to change. We're going to get to know each other more, once Matt gets to work some more. Anyways, I think that Matt is going to be going to a field trip soon in the outskirts of Chicago." Matt snickered. "I may have already started looking for that." Nancy was confused as to what Matt was talking about.
"Sorry, I'm not understanding what you're talking about Matt."
Matt agreed with his mother as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I know. Gabby, how about you go downstairs and check out some of the prototypes? I'll talk to my mom. Oh, and can you maybe check if we need anything for groceries? We might as well do them if we're going out." Gabby agreed with Matt. "Yeah, I think we have to go to the grocery store more. We can go there rather than the fresh market." Matt agreed with his wife. "I'm just glad that we have one of the vehicles." Gabby snickered, agreeing with her husband. "You mean the car that you had to put on the plane!" Matt agreed with Gabby. "Shut up, you like our Tesla. The other one will be here in a week or two." Gabby agreed with her husband. "Just be glad you shipped the Model X." Matt agreed with Gabby. "I know that was the one you wanted, so I made sure to ship it." Gabby agreed with Matt, before walking away to head downstairs.
"Oh, Gabby; can you put Andy outside while you're down there?"
Turning to look at Matt, Gabby agreed with him as she most certainly can (and will) put Andy outside for him. "Of course, baby. Just remember to grab his leach and harness that you need to put on him, or is it downstairs?" Matt smiled as Gabby asked him that question. "I think that it's currently right by the door. We can put it on him as we leave." Gabby agreed with Matt, before walking away so that she could head downstairs. Meanwhile, Nancy turned to look at her son as she was still confused as to why he needed to talk to her.
"OK. I am still confused as to everything that's going on." Matt agreed with his mother, well aware that was the case. "So, this is what I'm planning. Me and Gabby never got a chance to do a real Valentine's Day in February."
Nancy agreed with her son as he said that, well aware that was the case; and now, she was starting to understand. "So, you want to do that tonight?" Matt agreed with his mother, as that was exactly what he was hoping to do. He was hoping to have a belated celebration. "Yeah, I was hoping that would be okay?" Nancy agreed. "What do you need me to do." Matt sighed. "Well, that's easy…just maybe stay in your room? You don't have to leave, just…" Nancy snickered. "Matt, I get it; and no, I am not leaving with Christie only has a three-bedroom place. One of which is her office, and there's no guest room that I can use. The guest room is her office/Violet's school room right now." Matt agreed with his mother, nodding as that made complete sense as he thought about it.
"Don't worry, I'm going to get you a house soon."
Nancy looked at her son as he said that. "Matt, no." Matt snickered. "Mom, I'm going to try and find a piece of land that's like a farm or something. You can have a house on the piece of land, while we have the new office in the backyard; and then we get free daycare for the kids, while we work at the office." Nancy snickered. "Why don't you live there instead?" Matt shook his head. "Because here, we're close to all of our friends; it's why we bought this place, due to how close all of our friends is. We are literally living in Firehouse 51's response area. So, if something happens…." Nancy then understood what her son was saying. "You already know and trust the people who will respond to a 9-1-1 call." Matt agreed with his mother, as that was exactly what he was saying. "Exactly." Nancy smiled, as her son is really smart. "God, my son is do smart; and I am so proud of you." Matt smiled as he heard his mom say that, before hugging her. After all, he loves having her in his life; and he's so proud of everything that she's done, and the challenges she's overcome.
"I hope you know that I'm proud of you mom."
Looking at her son, Nancy was confused as she didn't understand why he was telling her that. "What are you talking about Matt?" Matt smiled at his mother as she asked him that question. "I'm proud of everything that you've overcome. I mean, you've had to deal with a lot." Nancy agreed with her son, as that definitely was the truth. "And I got through it with your help a lot of the time." Matt smiled as he heard his mom say that, before grabbing her hand; that was, until he heard Gabby call for him. "MATT, GET DOWN HERE! I WANT YOU TO SEE THESE!" Matt snickered as he made his way over to his side table, before grabbing his wallet. "I'M COMING, I'M COMING. Take a breather Gabby and let me speak to my mother sometimes." Gabby agreed with her husband as he told her that, well aware that it was exactly what he was doing at the moment. But still, she wants to show him all of this amazing work his mom did.
Coming downstairs after being called there by his beautiful wife, Matt smiled as he spoke to her so that he could get her to stop yelling. "Gabby, calm down and take it easy; I'm right here, and on my way to see you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "Oh, Andy's already outside and loving it." Matt nodded. "Oh, I already checked, and his leach and harness are by the door already." Matt nodded once more, glad that she decided to check that for him. "Thanks for checking." Gabby agreed with Matt, as she was more than okay with having checked as to where the leach and harness were. After all, she wants to help him as much as she could. "I want to help as much as I can, and I knew that would help alleviate some of the worries you have when it comes to taking Andy out with it." Matt agreed with Gabby, as he was a bit worried about going out with him for the first time since they moved to Chicago.
"First time going out in public really, away from all of our friends with him."
Gabby agreed with Matt as he walked up beside her, wrapping his arm around her back in the process; doing the same by wrapping her arm around his back, she turned her head and then looked up at her husband. "You okay?" Bending down, Matt agreed as he was fine. And he would always be fine when it comes to going out with his beautiful wife, as well as Andy. "Everything will go fine, and I already know that." Gabby agreed with Matt, as that most certainly was the truth as she felt him bend down and kiss her softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt, as she loves her husband too. "I love you too. Now, can you please look at these?" Turning his head, Matt smiled as he went ahead and looked at the prototypes that his mother created. "Wow." Coming downstairs as she heard Matt say that, Nancy blushed as she thought that they were just average. "Oh, they're nothing big." Looking at Matt's mom, Gabby smiled.
"Nancy, are you kidding me? These are perfect and exactly what I need to make sure that I continue down the right path."
Nancy agreed with her daughter-in-law as she told her that, well aware that she's a bit apprehensive when it comes to the designs; but honestly, they are really easy to make. "Honestly Gabby, I highly doubt that you're going to find people who have a hard time making these designs. I mean, they are just masks and the CDC put out design ideas." Gabby agreed. "Oh, but they are going to get more complicated as I have ideas. I want to try and talk to the CFD and see if we can get some for them with the logo on it, and maybe other fire departments too; so that they can just have custom ones, that are really good rather than the paper ones." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, as that most certainly something that they can look towards. "Listen, maybe in a month or so; I want to just let them get started first, and I don't want to ask them for more money." Gabby looked at her husband, as she was not talking money.
"Who said anything about doing it for money?"
Matt looked at his wife as she said that. "Matt, we're in a pandemic; and we need to do what we can to give back, which is what we're going to do. I want to make some for all our friends and employees and give them to them. We are not going to let them get sick, because I feel like we have a responsibility to use our resources appropriately. Oh, and I am also going to talk to my former charity in Puerto Rico; see how many masks they need for their workers, and whether we can maybe send others." Matt smiled as he heard his wife as she said that, before kissing her forehead softly. "I'll reach out to Phillip Francis, and he can take care of that for us." Matt's mom was a bit confused as to who that man is. "Sorry, who is Phillip Francis?" Matt snickered, before explaining who Philip is.
"He's the Senior Executive Vice-President and Assistant Deputy CEO for our future Casey Puerto Rico office. We don't have one yet, but he's doing it from home."
Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that. "Just like Rafael is doing in Hawaii, and David in Los Angeles." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, glad that she can remember some of the names. "We can figure it out, okay?" Gabby smiled as she heard her husband say that, before getting close to him and wrapping her arm around him. She then smiled as she felt him turn his head and kiss the top of her head. "You want to get out of here, and go do what we need to do?" Gabby agreed with her husband. "I love that idea." Matt smiled as he turned his head and then bent down to kiss her softly, just like Gabby wanted him to do. "Then let's get out of here so that we can come home quicker." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that, as that was exactly what she wanted to do. She wanted to get out of the house and to the market, so that she could get back home as soon as possible; not that it was that crucial.
Well, at least not as crucial to another couple who also had to get groceries today; and there was an even more important reason why they had to get in and out of the grocery store as soon as possible, which was due to the fact that they have twins at home with them. While at the same time, they also live right next door to their doctor brother; whose wife is currently pregnant with their child.
