Lucy woke up coughing.

"I don't feel so good. I must be getting worse or better. I don't know…" Lucy says as Maria comes in.

"I'm going to die, aren't I?" Lucy says.

"No, honey. You aren't. In fact, I think your surgery will go quite well." Maria says.

"When is my surgery?" Lucy asked.

"In 2 days." Maria says.

Lucy smiled excitedly.

"I can't wait to see Luke and the others…" Lucy says and falls asleep.

That night Lucy was vomiting in the toilet after a bad dream. " I hope this goes away fast."

Meanwhile, Leni grinned due to getting a promotion.

"I got a promotion!" Leni says.

"That's wonderful, sweetie!" Charity says. "What did you get promoted to?"

"Manager!" Leni says.

"That's nice." Luan says.

"I'll have the chefs prepare a special dinner in your honor. Tonight is all about you, Leni." Charity says with a smile.

"Awwww, thanks…." Leni says.

Meanwhile, Luke felt alone all over again. Luna felt this and comforted him. Leni came in a few minutes later.

"Hi, Luke. I was meaning to talk to you the other day." Leni says.

"About what?" Luke asked.

"You seemed sad after the talent show. I wanted to go to you, but Luna didn't let me." Leni says.

"I was sad…." Luke says.

Leni hugged him.

At dinner, Leni dresses up in a green dress.

"I'm here!" Leni says. Everyone smiles and congratulates her on her promotion before eating dinner. Luke is eating at the far end of the table.

"Luke, are you okay?" Leni asked.

"Yeah…" he lied, but Leni bought the lie.

Later, they toasted to Leni, who giggled and smiled at her family.

2 days later, Lucy was going to have her surgery. She was nervous.

Soon, her surgery happened and it was a success. She didn't feel sick anymore, but she was sore.

"Groan." Lucy said and hugged Maria. She waited for someone to pick her up. Charity arrived to take Lucy home and she put her in the limo gently.

Once they got home, Charity helped Lucy get settled.

The siblings came down to see her. Luke looks at her.

She hugged Luke first, not saying much.

"Who is she?" Leni asked, noticing Lucy's skin changed it was less pale.

"Maria told me she had her appendix removed and they removed a brain tumor." Charity says. "She looks a lot better than she did before."

Lucy groaned.

"What do you want, sweetie?" Charity asked. "Can you show me?"

She points at the fridge, indicating she was hungry.

"We prepared a party." Leni says, causing Lucy to freak out as her eyes widened.

"We can have the party food, but the party itself is a no-go. Lucy just had surgery and I think she just wants to eat something and focus on making a full recovery." Charity says. "I know you guys are happy she's okay and I know you all missed her a lot, but she's already been through so much, especially with the surgeries she's had to deal with having. A party is just a bad idea right now."

They nod as Lucy tries getting to her room. Charity takes Lucy and a few plates of food up to her room. She then goes to get Lucy settled in bed.

"My head is spinning…." Lucy groaned.

"Just rest, okay?" Charity says. "Maria says that's one of the best things you can do to help you recover."

Lucy nods and goes to try and eat but she wasn't that hungry enough to finish.

"Lucy will feel a lot of pain." Lisa says.

"I wanna get surgery for my anemia when I recover from this." Lucy says.

Lincoln and Luke were watching a new show that Luke likes.

"What is this?" Lincoln asked.

"The Cuphead Show. And I like this show. So we're watching it." Luke says.

"Lucy forced you into it, didn't she?" Lincoln asked.

"NO!" Luke hisses at Lincoln. "Garrett showed it to me, and I like it just like he does!"

"Is there a problem?" Charity asked. "Why is Luke hissing angrily?"

"I thought Lucy introduced the show to Luke since it was a scary one." Lincoln says shivering as he couldn't really handle it.

"What is scary about that show?" Charity asked.

"There's a devil and demons." Lincoln says.

"He wants to watch it. He likes it." Charity says. "Why are you so scared of it?"

"Because it's actually really dark." Lincoln says.

Meanwhile, Lucy was watching Wednesday and smiled.

Luna played some music with Sam as Lucy groaned.

"What's wrong, Luce-Change?" Luna asked.

"Too loud…" Lucy moaned.

"What's too loud?" Luna asked.

Lucy points at her music.

"Oh, sorry, sis. We'll find something quieter to do." Luna says.

Lucy soon goes to try and sleep. But Luke's laughter was too loud as her body ached in pain. Lana's pets were making noise. Lucy's body trembled in pain as tears leaked out of her eyes as her heart was beating quickly and her stomach hurt; this was the opposite of what she needed.

She tried to get up, but was screaming as she felt pain in her shoulder and tumbled out of bed.

Lucy was weeping and ringing a bell that was used if someone was sick. Charity rushes up and sees Lucy on the floor.

"They- ah!" Lucy screamed as Lisa's chemicals made a loud explosion in Lisa's private lab.

"I figured as much." Charity says. Charity then begins to use her healing powers on Lucy.

Lucy got up and got some rest.

The next day, Lucy sees her siblings eating breakfast and groans.

"Morning." Luke says being fed.

"How'd you sleep?" Leni asked.

"Fine." Lucy says and eats her burnt eggs.

Luan noticed Lucy wasn't that hungry and assumed it was a side effect.

"Sigh, I'm going for a second surgery." Lucy says

"What? Why?" Leni asked.

"All my life, I've been sick with anemia. I want it gone then I'll be normal like you all." Lucy says.

Maria does the surgery on Lucy at her clinic. When Lucy awakens, Maria smiles at her.

"What happened?" Lucy asked, her voice more emotional than usual as her skin was no longer pale.

"How do you feel?" Maria asked.

"A bit fatigued." Lucy says.

Charity was there, waiting on her.

Lucy came out, still stunned at her new appearance.

Charity smiles and takes Lucy home. But upon her arrival, she sees Lincoln taking the TV remote from Luke.

"Guys, can I have the remote?" Lucy asked.

"Take it." Luke says. "I'm going to watch TV in my room, away from him!" He then goes upstairs.

"Who's she?" Leni asked, not realizing it was Lucy.

"That's the new Lucy." Charity says. "Lincoln, what were you doing to Luke?"

"I wanted to watch ARGGH!, but he wouldn't let me." Lincoln says.

"I heard you insulted Luke's show." Charity says.

"He didn't insult, he just said he's too chicken to watch it." Lucy says

"I don't like this Lucy." Lincoln says

"I'm telling the truth. You always whine like a baby and you're always making plans to make your life better, while we all would suffer. Sometimes I mean you recorded us twice for the same trophy. Once I was with Edwin and once when I was trying to hide and take a shower in the rain like a bat. Not to mention you can be annoying. Like those ear buds you use to shut us out." Lucy says and walks to Lincoln, angry. "Or when you watched LUKE BE OUTSIDE!" Lucy screamed and shoved Lincoln through the table as it broke. Lucy realized what she did and ran away to her room. Luke watched the whole thing and smiled as Lucy had never stood up for him or anyone like this before.

"What have I done? I went too far…" Lucy stammered, upset and scared of what Charity would say.

Charity came in and held Lucy. "Are you okay, honey?" She asked.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have pushed Lincoln. Something happened…" Lucy says.

"The table can be replaced, sweetheart. Don't worry about it. As for Lincoln, I had no idea he watched Luke be outside in the rain all those days ago." Charity says. "Now I know."

"That was when they called him bad luck all because of Lynn!" Lucy screamed and punched a wall, breaking a hole in it as she gasped and felt guilty.

"I'm sorry. Ever since that surgery, I've felt angry. All my angry thoughts I kept inside are starting to come out." Lucy says.

"I know. But you need to use a journal or something, sweetheart." Charity says.

"I met up with Lynn the other day." Lucy says.

Before Lucy's surgery, Lynn sees her.

"Yo, Luce, how are you doing?" Lynn asked.

Lucy cowered, remembering what happened last time she saw Lynn.

"What are you writing?" Lynn asks and takes the book and sees Lucy writing what she thought of Lynn, causing Lynn to tear the journal in half as it had Lucy's best poems in it.

Lucy looked heartbroken as Lynn stormed out.

Lucy looks down.

The next day, Lucy snuck out to find Lynn. She was going to make Lynn pay.

She spots Lynn at a nearby sports field at the prison. She walked up to her.

"Lynn you are a horrible person do you know I hate when you put your stuff in my coffin or when you hurt Luke and Lincoln. I don't like your attitude and I hated it when you kicked Luke out! Your dreams were meant to die, you suck!" Lucy says as Lynn pushed Lucy, who pushed her back as Lynn punched Lucy.

"You're so creepy! It's good that you finally stopped looking like a freak!" Lynn shouts and punches Lucy as the brawl continues. Lucy had gotten some strength but Lynn had more years of training and punched her, causing Lucy to black out and the guards took Lynn away after watching the fight. Sally soon comes and sees poor Lucy bleeding.

Luke watched from the sky and was furious with Lynn. He decided to do away with her once and for all.

Lucy later got up. "I'm not done…I have to teach Lynn a lesson…." Lucy panted.

"Already taken care of." Luke says. "She didn't last a full minute with me."

Lucy looked down, feeling weak, but was thankful for Luke.
