Soon, it was time for the first semester exams as everyone studies for them.

Lisa was confident in her abilities.

As for Luke, he was studying five different subjects for his exam. Science, algebra, French, social studies, and language arts, to be exact.

Lucy was nervous and went to ask Lisa to help her with Science.

"I'm busy." Lisa says.

"Please? I don't want to fail." Lucy says.

"Fine." Lisa says.

Leni looks the most nervous as she was never really that smart and she needed to go to college or university.

Lincoln was with Clyde, playing video games after finishing a project.

After studying, Luke was hissing out the window.

Luna checks in on Luke. He was mad about something that happened at school this week and he was angry about it.

"You okay?" Luna asked.

"Luke has no friends anymore!" Luke shouted.

"What about Garrett, Stephen, and Colleen?" Luna asked.

"Stephen didn't invite me to his birthday party at Hole In One-derland…." Luke says sadly. "Everyone but me got invited…."

Luna feels bad for him.

The next day, exams were on and everyone had been trying to take them.

Luke finished his first four exams before lunch. He had his social studies exam after lunch.

The others took their exams at their own pace.

Leni was the most nervous when taking hers.

After school, Luke came home, went straight to the kitchen, grabbed a bag of banana chips from the cabinet, and sat down to eat them, still mad at his friends.

Leni comes home, shaking and afraid, and goes to her room.

The other kids come home and do their normal things. Luan and Luna see Luke's sad face and angry expression.

They go to comfort him.

Lincoln soon came back with some wounds. Luke just storms up to his room, not bothering to show concern at the moment.

"Poor Luke, when was the last time he was happy?" Lana asked.

"You haven't heard why he's upset?" Luna asked.

"I know, it's trending." Lana says.

The siblings decided to devote their time to comforting Luke now that the exams were over.

Luke just tears up pictures of some of his friends' parties that he attended, sobbing.

They spend 3 hours just hugging him. It was clear Luke had been miserable since birth.

On November 2nd, the results came. Leni was in her room as she was crying.

"There is no way I could pass…" Leni says.

Luke had passed all his first semester exams with flying colors. Straight A's. But he was still fuming about his friends.

"Oh, Lisa, your grades…" Charity says

"I don't need to look, I know I got all A's." Lisa says.

"Also, an award." Charity says.

Lisa smiled but went to work.

Leni was nervous, but saw she passed with As and Bs.

"I passed my exams!" Leni squealed.

"Luke got all A's, that doesn't really matter." Lucy says to Leni, putting the spotlight on Luke.

"Yeah, nice job." Lana says.

Leni watches everyone congratulate Luke and goes to her room to be alone.

"We gotta have dinner in Luke's honor." Luan says.

Luke smiled at being the center of attention, then he frowned. "Not in the mood!" Luke hissed as he just wanted a break.

Charity honored Leni at dinner that night. Luke had decided to go eat at Garrett's house.

Lucy goes to Garrett's house.

"Can I help you?" Garrett asked.

"I came to check on Luke." Lucy says. She then sees Luke eating at Garrett's table.

"Hi, Luke." Lucy says.

"Yes, Lucy?" Luke asked.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Why are you all trying to suffocate me?! Just be proud of me!" Luke shouts.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Lucy says.

That Friday at school, Luke hears his classmates talking about Stephen's party this weekend. Luke sobs and sobs as he listens.

Meanwhile, Sally went to see Charity.

"Can I help you?" Charity asked Sally.

"I'm here to check on the kids." Sally says.

Charity told her what she needed to know.

"And they are at school right now. So they aren't home." Charity says.

"Oh, okay." Sally says.

At school, Lucy walked past Luke sniffing. Luke is sobbing.

"What's wrong?" Lucy asked.

"Luke's not invited! Luke's not invited!" Some kids say, making Luke sob harder.

Lucy wasn't sure what to do but just hold Luke.

At lunch, Lucy gained the courage to meet with her club.

"Who are you?" Dante asked.

"It's me, Lucy" Lucy says.

"You look less pale. You're wearing an Arctic blue t-shirt, and you ditched us on Halloween." Persephone says.

"I wanted to get better." Lucy says, looking down.

"Leave her alone. Lucy, I think you should sit somewhere else " Haiku says

Lucy nods and goes to comfort Luke.

Meli walks to Luke and puts an invitation in his bag when he isn't looking and runs off shyly.

Luke sighed and soon it was lunch time.

Luke looks for somewhere to sit as Lucy comes up.

The kids tease Luke again.

"Leave him alone! Sigh, since Stephen is my idiot cousin, I'm allowing Luke in, so shut up." Haiku says.

"Only Stephen can choose and he didn't pick Luke." A kid teased.

Haiku looks pissed off. Stephen walks up.

"Is something going on?" Stephen asked, and the minute he saw Luke's expression, his whole demeanor changed and he looked at his friends.

"You didn't invite Luke." Haiku says to Stephen before slapping him.

"That's for hurting him!" Haiku says.

"I swore I invited him…" Stephen says.

"Did you tell him?" She asked, angry as everyone looked on.

Principal Huggins came in. "What is going on?" He asked.

"Luke?" Stephen asked.

Charity and Stephen's mom had to come to the school.

"Apparently Stephen didn't invite Luke to his birthday party." Charity told Stephen's mom.

"But I swore I made one specially for Luke, honest!" she says.

"Where is it?" Charity asked.

Stephen's mom looks at Haiku, who blinks.

"She didn't do it." Stephen's mom says.

Luke looks down. "I-it's okay…." He says, starting to cry.

"No, you can come, I'll vouch for you." Stephen says.

Luke sniffs. "Luke is invited?" Luke says.

"Yes." Stephen says.

Luke smiles at his friends.

Soon, school ends as Lucy goes to Haiku.

"Are we still friends?" Lucy asked.

"Yes. I'm honestly thinking of leaving the club, too. Because they just disrespected you today." Haiku says.

"All because I wanted to get better." Lucy frowned looking down.

"They aren't good friends. I'm ready for a change and I know you feel the same." Haiku says. "I was done with that club a long time ago."

Haiku hugged Lucy. "You look better, it doesn't matter. I'm happy for your new look." Haiku says.

Lucy heads home as she tripped, breaking her glasses and stumbling around. Luke guided her home and got her spare glasses.

"Thank you." Lucy says and heads out. "Me and Rocky are going on a date." Lucy says.

Later, Luna was listening to music when she hears some news.

"School's canceled until after winter break because of school renovations. Sweet!" Luna says.

Meanwhile, Lincoln and his gang were at the local Burpin' Burger as Rusty came with Rocky.

"Hey, Rocky." Stella says.

"Wait, Lucy said you had a date with her…" Lincoln says.

"No, not today, why?" Rocky asked.

"She said you sent her a letter." Lincoln says.

"Oh, no!" Rocky says as they soon arrived at the graveyard and dug up the ground. They found out that her former club had buried Lucy alive as it had been snowing too.

Charity had already had the club members sent home. Needless to say, their club soon disbanded. Lucy wasn't suffering horribly.

Luke is currently thinking about his upcoming birthday.
