A world with quirks means its people are wind up rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Mina Ashido is a vivacious hero in training. 50. Daigoro Banjo (Lariat)

A.N. — Fifty is a nice, big, round number, so today is one of the more important characters who doesn't have a canon birthday. Nice to get back to notable names after two straight days of pretty minor players.

50. Daigoro Banjo/Lariat

Daigoro was the first One For All user to actually be considered a professional hero. His predecessors were considered vigilantes at best or villains at worst. Lariat looked a brute, but in ability and personality acted as a bridge spanning eras.

The time between the dawn of quirks and the current ascent of the heroics industry was fraught with infighting. That nebulous nature allowed a tough like Daigoro to take on a mantle he otherwise would've never borne. But Daigoro was never lacking the confidence to succeed in being a bastion of justice, either with Blackwhip or One for All.
