A world with quirks means its people are wind up rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Mina Ashido is a vivacious hero in training. 51. Rin Yaritezawa

A.N. — I've got a few free days left before the calendar really ramps up, both with a ton of birthdays in early March, and the timeline being crowded with important events. So, here's an incidental character (from Chapter 42 of Vigilantes) to fit in beforehand and who also connects to tomorrow's star.

51. Rin Yaritezawa

Being an intoxicated college student at a party was cliché, but here Rin was, fulfilling obligations.

Not all heroes wore capes. It, too, was a cliché but true phrase for Rin — Koichi was the only saving grace of this mixer.

Perhaps her drunk goggles were strapped too tight, but Rin was feeling pissy at Hina and flirty for Koichi. The fact Hina barely helped after Rin had puked while Koichi stayed by her side fussing over her cemented the latter's savior status for her. Maybe if she was sober, Rin could've seen that Koichi, too, was just fulfilling obligations.
