52. Koichi Haimawari (The Skycrawler)

A.N. — This guy with a lot of aliases actually has his birthday tomorrow, but so do two other people. So he slots in here, while another hero gets February 22. That leaves the villain to wait till the 23rd. Also, spoilers for the final chapter of Vigilantes.

52. Koichi Haimawari/The Skycrawler

New country. New name. New image?

Koichi Haimawari had gone by many monikers: Nice Guy, Gentleman, The Crawler. Now he was the Skycrawler, and for once he didn't have to worry that this name would have vigilante or villain attached to it. Here in America, he was officially a full-fledged hero, a sidekick to Captain Celebrity.

Much had been left behind in Japan, but his reputation wasn't. Naruhata had shaped him from the very start. While there were parts he'd rather forget, Koichi became who he was today because of Naruhata. His past problems would help solve future ones.

A.N. 2 — I'm shifting to a later posting schedule for at least the rest of the week due to work. Hopefully not as late as this chapter, though.
