Lucy sniffed as she wasn't feeling well. Charity had been taking care of her.
Luke was making calls on his phone, hissing and screaming.
Leni finds him and holds him.
Meanwhile, Rita took Luna out to celebrate the first night of her tour.
"You were great." Lincoln tells Luna.
"Thanks. But I feel really bad right now." Luna says.
"I know, but you supported him online and even voted for him. You did your best." Rita says.
"I'm going to his next show. I want to see him in person." Luna says. "I'm going to make sure I'm there this time."
"You're ending your tour?" Lana asked.
"This is your dream." Lola says.
"I'll have other tours. Right now, I want to be there for the one that I inspired to take up music as a hobby and a career." Luna says. "I want to be there for Luke."
Rita takes the kids to see Luke. Luke smiles upon seeing Luna.
Lucy turned her back. Luke frowned at Lucy.
"They're traitors." Lucy says.
"Luna is my musical inspiration!" Luke says. "You don't want to care about it!"
"Lucy!" Rita says.
Lucy pushed Rita down, looking frustrated.
"Okay, I hate new Lucy. Since when did she start standing up for herself?" Lola asked as Lucy leaves.
Rita looked down.
"Luke, what happened to Lucy and why is she less pale?" Lola asked.
"First, she had surgery. It's time for you all to quit controlling her and the things she does. Second, when has she ever been your concern?" Luke asked, folding his arms.
"Normally I ignore her, but she pushed mom." Lola says.
"I deserve it. I couldn't get my own daughter the treatment she needed…" Rita sobbed.
"You're a great mom. You can't stand up for yourself anymore, so I'll do it." Lola says and leaves.
"Lola, no, don't hurt her." Rita says. Charity grabs Lola by her dress before she gets one foot out the door.
"She pushed mom." Lola says.
"Lola, just let it go." Rita says. Charity then begins speaking.
"If I catch you laying even one of your perfectly manicured fingers on Lucy or Luke or even Luna….I will sell every pageant gown you own, blackball you from all the pageant circuits, and have all your crowns sent back to the pageants you won them from, then I will SELL your princess bed and you will sleep with LANA until you go off to college! Am I clear?!" Charity says.
Lola nodded fearfully.
On Lily's birthday, Luke came down with the flu.
Lily woke up as Rita came into her room. "Happy 3rd birthday, Lily." Rita says
Lily giggled.
Lincoln had to watch over Lucy, who was still sick as Lucy was sobbing.
"What have I done?!" She asked as she felt bad for pushing her biological mother.
Luke rang his bell from his room. Luna came to him as Luke coughed.
"Good thing you don't have a show today or anytime soon until, conveniently, your anniversary, which by then you should be healthy." Luna says.
"I….I want….my soup and my Sprite…" Luke says weakly.
"That's your lunch. Do you want your dry toast and tea for breakfast?" Luna asked.
Luke nods. Luna goes off to get that for Luke, returning minutes later with the tea and toast on a tray.
Lucy goes to check on Luke a little bit later. "Luke, how are you feeling?" Lucy asked.
"Sick…" Luke says, coughing and sneezing.
Lucy sneezed and groaned as she took out her poem book and tried to read her poem.
"Lucy…" Lincoln says
"They're both sick so they should stick together. Lucy may be the reason Luke has the flu." Lisa says.
Luke was sad that he had to miss Garrett's birthday party because he was sick.
With Lily, she was watching Lincoln play video games before her party.
Lily giggled, then got bored, so she went to find Luan.
Luke was very upset as he coughed. Luna stayed with him as Luke teared up.
"I know, but your anniversary is coming up." Luna says.
"The party is at the new arcade! An arcade I'll never get to go to!" Luke says, angry. "I was looking forward to Garrett's birthday party for weeks! But now I'm sick!"
"Thanks a lot, Lucy. You got him sick. You just couldn't stop being clingy." Lola says as Rita calms Lola down. "You made him miss an important birthday in his best friend's life! Garrett will probably never invite him to another party again!"
"Achoo!" Lucy sneezed.
Soon, it was time for Lily's party. Luke and Lucy would not be in attendance. Luke was better, thanks to Lisa, but was mad at Lucy and refused to even look at her. Lucy was in bed.
"Luke, I'm sorry…." Lucy sobbed.
"Why did you do it?" Lincoln asked.
"I wanted to buy him a cake in advance before anyone else got it. Now, it's probably too late…" Lucy sobbed.
"You were just trying to remember his anniversary early, but in the end, you made him miss his best friend's 13th birthday party." Lincoln says to Lucy before looking at the siblings. "And yes, Luke was already planning to celebrate with Lily after he celebrated with Garrett. I think it's plain to see that none of you have changed your ways."
Lucy screamed and sobbed. "Go away, Lincoln!" Lucy screamed and tossed Edwin at him in anger, losing control over her emotions.
"Lucy!" Leni says as Lucy felt guilty and sneezed a bit.
"Okay, not true. Some of us have changed, even Lola, a bit." Lisa says.
"Well, a lot of you are accusing Luke again." Lincoln says.
"For what? If he wants to go to Garrett's birthday, it's fine. I was actually going to take Hops to a cool pond." Lana says.
"How are you not sick?!" Lucy asked before realizing why she's been sick. With all the germs from grave digging, she would forget to wash her hands.
"Lana, please wash your hands." Lucy says and sneezes.
"Sorry, gotta go!" Lana says and leaves.
Meanwhile, Luke came to Garrett's birthday party. Garrett gasped and wheeled himself up to Luke.
Luke smiled. "Happy 13th birthday, bestie!" Luke says and gives Garrett tickets to the New York Knicks, his favorite basketball team. Garrett squealed.
"Thank you!" Garrett says. "This is amazing, Luke! Are you gonna go with me?" Luke nods.
"Yay!" Garrett says. "Wanna play skee-ball with me?"
Luke smiled and joined Garrett as they went to play games.
Lucy felt awful as she laid in bed. She knew Charity was mad.
"Why did you do this to him, Lucy?" Charity asked.
Lucy was shaking nervously "I-I just wanted to help him, I didn't mean to." Lucy saysys.
"Help him with what?" Charity asked.
"Choosing his cake and party theme for his anniversary." Lucy says.
Charity thinks. This would be Luke's 5th year of acting and it had to be special.
Lucy looks down, guilty. Charity decides to help her plan.
Luke was carrying Garrett's cake to his party table.
Garrett smiled as everyone sang to him, then he thought of a wish.
He wishes for Luke to win America's Next Hitmaker as he blows out his 13 candles.
"Mom, am I in trouble?" Lucy asked.
"No, you aren't. You're trying to help Luke, that's a good thing." Charity says.
Lily toddles around, looking for her cake.
"Presents first!" Leni says.
Lily goes to open the presents.
She opened Lincoln's to reveal a lavender teddy bear. Lily smiles.
"Awww, you're welcome." Lincoln says.
Lily opened more gifts.
She sees Luke's gift and sees it's a toy microphone. Lily giggled and played with it.
Soon, it was cake time as everyone sang to Lily.
Lily tries to blow out her candles and finally does so after a few tries.
Luke comes home after Garrett's party, and just goes to his room.
