Hi Readers: First, I want to apologize for not having written anything. And that was due to the fact that I just didn't feel like posting yet. That's literally the one reason that I haven't posted yet, and I now know that's going to change as I'm writing now. Hope you like the chapters that I get out for you today, as I'm not sure just how many I'll be able to get out due to the fact that I'm starting so late today.

A Visit from Uncle Will & Aunt Natalie
Part Two: Playing Jealous, and Confronting Reality

They decided to just set the crib down at Will and Natalie's place, before coming back home so that they can just relax for a bit ahead of putting them together; and there was a reason for that, being that his beautiful children were awake. His handsome son Mikey, and his adorable baby girl Olivia, who was getting a bit TOO comfortable in her uncle's arms, at least in her father's eyes. And that's exactly what he decided to tell his daughter, as he walked over to her and just looked at her. "Hey you little missy." Turning their heads, the other adults all looked at Jay. "You better not get used to that feeling there missy, because that isn't your daddy…I'm your daddy, and you better remember that because I don't want you crying when I have to steal you away from your UNCLE." Will just laughed as he heard Jay say that, before turning his head and looking up at his brother; the brother who really had no reason to be jealous.

And that was something that Will decided to remind his brother. "Jay, you have no reason to be jealous. I am not going to take my niece, when she's your daughter." Jay agreed with Will as he said that, well aware that was the case; especially since he was just playing, which is the exact reason he decided to walk away. "Will, don't you think I already know that? I mean, I'm playing a game with my daughter. Geez, let me play with my daughter for crying out loud." Alex agreed with her husband, well aware that he likes to play with his children. "Oh god, you should see him when he gets on the ground with the kids; I swear, it's the most adorable thing and I am loving it." Jay agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, before smiling as he walked into the kitchen; after which, he turned his head and looked at Natalie. "So, Natalie, I want to let you know that we already have plans for the next nap." Natalie was confused.

After all, what plans could she have made when Jay; when they haven't really talked much today, as he was instead at her place. "OK. I'm confused, and unsure as to what you mean; as last time I checked, the two of us haven't ever made plans with each other." Jay snickered as he heard Natalie say that, before going to grab some water glasses. He then proceeded to walk up to the fridge and started to fill some up. "Oh, I'm not talking about me and you Natalie." Natalie was even more confused as she heard Jay say that, who then pointed out just what he meant. "I'm talking about me and your husband, since I already know that you guys are only out here so that the kids can spend some time with me and Will before they fall asleep." Alex laughed, as that was the exact reason why they were out here. "You know me so well." Jay agreed. "But I also know that we're going to have them over for supper." Natalie agreed.

After all, she and Alex were just talking about that while their husbands were bringing the cribs to their place. "Me and Alex were actually just talking about that, and we both agreed that we would spend some time with each other." Jay agreed with Natalie as he finished filling up the first glass of water; after which, he proceeded to start filling up the other glass of water. "Will and Natalie, you guys want some water too?" Natalie smiled as she looked at Jay, as that most certainly was something that she wanted; and that her husband should've offered. "I would love some, you are such a great HUSBAND for asking." Gulping, Will just knew that was Natalie throwing a bit of shade at him; because he's not stupid when it comes to sarcasm, and could clearly hear that his wife was being sarcastic. "Sorry Nat." Natalie agreed with her husband as he apologized, before shaking her head as he was really useless at times.

But that doesn't mean that she doesn't love her husband, as she most certainly does love her husband; due to the fact that he's the father of her child, which is something that she can't wait to see him be. Based on the way that he acts with Michael and Olivia, she just knows that he's going to be a great father. "It's okay Will, but you just need to remember that you need to be more present." Will agreed with Natalie as she said that, as that most certainly was the truth. He needed to be more present, and he needed to make sure that he helped his wife as much as he can; and that's due to the fact that she's pregnant, and it's why Will needs to help her as much as he can. And that's exactly what he does, by giving her massages. "I mean, when it comes to things like water. I hope you know that I most certainly do love the massages that you give me, even when you're tired." Alex agreed with her sister-in-law, smiling at her.

After all, she clearly remembers all the great massages that Jay gave her while she was pregnant. God, they were incredible; and at times, they happened in the bath. And boy, now that was really sexy. They had a lot of fun, and they just enjoyed the time that they got to spend with each other. And spending time alone, well that's exactly what they both want to do at times; they want to spend time with each other, and they want to hold each other close. And that's exactly what they're going to do tonight. "By the way, I forgot to mention. I ran into Eva on my way back, and she says that she wanted me to give you guys her thanks for how you're working in the hospital." Will smiled as he heard Jay say that, really loving the sound of that. "Thanks Jay, and I'm just glad that you told me that. Still, I'm also really surprised that we all live in this place." Alex agreed with her brother-in-law, as she felt the same way at first.

But now that they're in the middle of the pandemic, and they have this bubble; well, it just makes things a lot easier, and they are so glad that they still get to spend time with each other. "As worried as I was at first, I am so glad that we ended up doing it for the sake of our kids. It means that we can spend time with each other, and just take it easy; and it's also a lot less stressful, as I always know that you guys are okay." Natalie agreed with Jay as he said that, while also watching as he joined him into the living room; after which, he looked at Alex and smiled as he gave her some water. "Here you go." Looking up at her husband, Alex smiled as that was exactly what she wanted. "Thanks." Jay agreed with Alex, before bending down and kissing her softly; after which, he got up and looked at Will. "Here, how about you give me Olivia for a minute? And you can go get your wife some water." Will agreed with his brother.

After all, that's exactly what he needs to do; and while his brother could've done it, he's her husband. And that's why he's going to do it for Natalie, due to the fact that he loves her. "Just remember, I'm going to want to hold her again when I'm back." Jay agreed with Will as he said that. "Oh, calm down man. Do I have to remind you that you're going to get a chance to hold both of your niece and nephew for the rest of the night?" That's when Jay remembered something. "Natalie, I just remembered. That's why we're going to set up the cribs today, because then my kids can use them tonight while we get a night alone." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, as that most certainly makes sense. "Now, I get why you want to set them up with your brother tonight." Jay agreed. "I want our kids to use them, whenever we want to have time alone with each other." Natalie agreed with Jay as he said that, smiling at him this afternoon.

However, she also decided to remind him of something; and that would be that Will needs to relax every once and a while, as does she due to the fact that she's pregnant. "Just remember that we can't watch them all the time, due to the fact that Will needs to take it easy and relax." Jay and Alex both agreed with Natalie. "We just need a night, because we have some things to unpack still." That's when Will realized that, as he went to open the cupboards to see that there are still boxes of plates in here. "You guys haven't unboxed your plates yet?" Jay shook his head. "We did the beds, the washrooms, and we shopped for groceries. We still have the summer clothes, some sorting to do, as well as the plates and stuff. But if that's you volunteering." Will laughed. "Not a chance brother, as I just did that; and I have to put the crib together." Natalie looked at her husband as he said that.

After all, she's excited for that; as it's something that they can do together to get ready to be parents, and they'll do it. "Excuse me, but I'm excited for that part." Grabbing some water for him and Nat, Will turned his head and looked at his wife as he knew that he was about to get in trouble with her. "You are?" Natalie agreed with her husband. "I want to do it together, as that's something that's going to be fun; we're going to be assembling our child's first bed, which just means that we're on step closer to meeting Owen." Will agreed with Natalie, as he loves thinking about it that way. "Well, I love the sound of that." Natalie agreed with her husband, and she actually likes thinking about it that way too. She likes thinking about how them assembling the crib, means that they're one step closer to welcoming their son. "Well, that's a nice way for us to think about it." Will agreed with his Natalie, before smiling at his beautiful wife.

But Will wasn't the only Halstead brother who was smiling at his wife, as Jay was doing the same with Alex as he walked into the living room this afternoon; after which, he proceeded to walk up next to her. "Here, I got you some water; just like you wanted." Turning her head, Alex agreed with Jay before reaching up and grabbing it. After which, she watched as Jay sat down, while also wrapping his arm around her and holding her close. After all, that's exactly what Alex wants him to do right now; she wants her husband to hold her close, and just make her feel happy. And by holding her close, that's exactly what Jay does; he makes her happy, and he makes her feel loved. And she showed him so, by putting her hand on his leg. "God, I love it when you wrap your arm around me." Jay agreed with his wife as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I know that; and it's the reason I always wrap my arm around you."

Looking at Jay, Natalie shook her head. "I swear, you guys are so in love; that it's disgusting at times." Jay laughed as he looked at Natalie, because the same thing can be said about her and Will. "I think we both know that the same can be said about you guys." Natalie agreed with her brother-in-law, and smiled as she turned to look at Will; after which, she leaned in and proceeded to kiss her husband softly. "Then again, I think we both know that you guys are going to just gross out your kid when you give birth." Natalie agreed with Jay once more, as that's exactly what they're going to do. "Well, I think we both know that's going to be the case; but you most certainly can't judge, because that's what you guys to do your children all the time." Jay agreed with Natalie, as that was true. And it was also something that he was going to talk to Alex about, when they put the kids down for a nap this afternoon.

Michael and Olivia's Nursery – Standing in the twins' nursery shortly after giving them a quick feeding, Jay, and Alex both smiled as they got their twins changed for the last time before they left to go with their aunt and uncle. And even though it was still early, they both decided that they were more interested in getting some time with each other than letting them stay here longer; and that was due to the fact that they were going down for a nap, and they would rather just let them go down at Will and Natalie's place…as she was getting a bit tired as well. So, that just made everything better; due to the fact that it means that they get to have more time alone with each other, because it's exactly what they want and need. "I'm glad that your brother is giving us this time." Jay agreed with his wife as he changed Olivia's diaper, before putting it in the grocery bag that he had here on the changing table.

"Here, use this for Michael's diaper. I can get my brother to take it out to the garbage."

Turning her head, Alex just gave her husband a bit of side eye. "Or I can take it out to the garbage." Alex agreed with her husband as she got close to him, before wrapping her arm around his back; after which, she leaned in and proceeded to kiss the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I love you too, and I am so glad that we're going to get some time with each other; because as much as we love the kids, we also know that we need time with each other." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before wrapping his arm around her and just holding her close; after which, he turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. "I'm just glad that we're going to get some time with each other, as I feel like we need it." Alex agreed with Jay, and just smiled as she held the man she loves close to her, because she wants it too.

She wants to be alone with her husband, as they hold each other close; and that was something that Natalie could clearly see, as she walked into the nursery. "I can only imagine that you guys are ready to get some time alone." Turning around to look at Natalie, Alex smiled as she most certainly is ready. "I hope you know that I really appreciate this, as I just want to take it easy still." Natalie agreed with Alex as she said that, before looking at her as she walked up to her. "And is it due to the fact that you want to talk to Jay about things related to your dad, without your kids being here?" Looking at Alex as Natalie asked her whether she needed to talk to him about things related, to Hank, Jay started to get concerned due to the fact that she was being quiet. "Alex?" Taking a breath as she looked at the man she loves, Alex agreed. "I just…" Looking at Olivia, Jay took a breath and looked at Natalie. "Natalie, can you…"

Natalie agreed with her brother-in-law, before making her way over to Olivia's changing table; meanwhile, Jay walked up to Alex and wrapped his arm around her. Putting his hand on her butt, Jay stroked it while Alex wrapped her arm around her back. Turning his head, Jay kissed her forehead and held her close to him. "I just have a lot on my mind, related to my dad and everything." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I know you do, and I promise that we're going to talk about it; we're going to hold each other, and we're going to deal with it." Grabbing Jay's hand, Alex took a breath. "I'm sorry that I…" Stopping his wife, Jay wrapped his arm around her and then bent down to kiss her softly. "Listen, how about you say goodbye to the kids? Then you go lay down in bed. I'll get them out of the house, then I'll come be with you." Alex agreed, before doing just that for Jay this afternoon.

It was now just him, Natalie, and the twins here in the nursery; after all, Alex just left so that she can go relax in their room, as that's where she needs to be at the moment. She needs to be in their room, and just taking it easy right now; that way, she can breathe ahead of the two of them talking things over. "I can only imagine what's going on in Alex's mind." Jay sighed. "I think that she's starting to think about everything, and just…." Moving to grab Jay's hand, Natalie nodded as she knew that the two of them were dealing with a lot. "It's a lot to deal with when we're also dealing with the pandemic." Natalie understood with Jay as he said that, before walking over to him; she then proceeded to hug her, and smiled as she held him close. "Jay, I promise that everything will be okay." Jay agreed with Natalie as she said that, before hearing his brother walk into the nursery. "Everything okay in here?" Jay agreed with Will.

After which, he turned to look at his brother so that he can explain what's going on. "Alex is just overwhelmed, and that's why I thought we needed this time; I can read her sometimes, and I know that she's been having a lot of problems lately. First with her dad, and then the pandemic…" Will agreed with Jay as he said that, which makes a lot of sense; and that's something that he plans on making sure that his brother knew he understood, and that it was why he and Natalie were going to take the kids. "And that's why we're going to take the kids, due to the fact that I can see that you guys need this." Jay smiled as he heard his brother say that, as that most certainly is the truth. "Oh, we most certainly do need to take some time to really talk; and I think we may even need to unpack some more, which is exactly what we're probably going to do as well." Natalie agreed with Jay and smiled at her brother-in-law.

"Well, I can clearly see that you and Alex have a lot to do while we watch your kids."

Jay agreed with Natalie as she said that, as that most certainly is the truth; and that was why he was so grateful that they were doing this for the both of them. "And that's why I really love you guys for doing this for us." Will agreed, before walking up behind his brother; after which, he rubbed his back and smiled due to the fact that he's going to make sure that he and Alex get some quality time together. Time where they can relax, and just take it easy. "Yet at the same time, I do want to apologize for cancelling our plans to have supper with each other." Natalie snickered. "To tell you the truth, I think we were always going to need you to take the kids. We just need to relax after all this drama, and we…" Will sighed as he looked at his brother, not needing an explanation when it comes to the reason why he needs him to take the kids. "Jay, we already know. There's no reason for you to have to explain it to us." Jay agreed.

And the truth was, he really appreciated that. He appreciated that he didn't need to explain the fact that he needs to be alone with Alex, especially when they need that to start sooner. "I think I just need to be romantic with her and make her happy." Will agreed with Jay, as that was something that he could see his brother doing. He could see his brother giving his wife a bit of romance, which is something that she needs. "Well, I hope that works for Alex." Jay agreed with his brother, as he feels the same way; he hopes that them having a bit of romance can help. "Uhm, I'm not sure how long I want to have time with Alex." Will agreed with his brother as he said that, before putting his hand on her back and rubbing it. "Well, I understand and we're going to do whatever you need us to do." Jay agreed with Will as he said that, before turning to look at Natalie, who felt the same way about what they're going to do.

"Jay, we're going to make sure to take good care of your kids; and you're going to be able to take care of Alex."

Jay smiled as he heard Natalie say that, as that sounds like paradise. It's exactly what they both want to do at the moment, just take some time alone with each other as they hold each other close; and they can relax and just concentrate on each other, while talking about what's on her mind at the moment. And one thing that most certainly is on her mind at the moment, is the relationship that they have with her father; and he just hopes that they can fix it, or that he can make his wife feel better. Because either of those results would make Jay happy, as it would make Alex happy. But for now, he's going to have to settle with making his wife happy sexually; now that he really objects to doing that, as he loves making his wife happy sexually. It's exactly what they both need to do.

They need to take some time with each other, hold each other close, and just concentrate on each other; they need to concentrate on making each other feel better, and hold each other close. "I hope you know that me and Alex already appreciate that you guys are doing this for us." Will and Natalie both agreed with Jay as he said that, as they both knew that was the case. "Hey, of course we know that Jay; and you don't have to tell us that again, because we want you and Alex to be happy." Jay smiled at Will and Natalie, before watching as Natalie made her way over to the closet. "What are you doing Natalie?" Natalie snickered. "I'm going to pack up the clothes that we bought them for Christmas, because if they're going to wear those clothes anywhere; then they're going to wear them at our place." Will agreed with Natalie, as that most certainly is the truth. "Don't you know it." Natalie snickered, before smiling.

Smiling at her loving husband, and the father of her child; Natalie proceeded to kiss her husband again. "Listen, let's pack up the kids; that way, we can get out of here. Your brother and Alex clearly need some time with each other." Jay laughed, agreeing with Natalie. "I thought you were going to relax, and just take it easy for now." Natalie laughed. "I need to make sure that I know where things are." Jay was confused as he heard Natalie say that, unsure of what she was talking about. "What are you talking about?" Natalie laughed. "I want to make sure that I know where to find the diapers, the clothes, the binkies, everything." Jay agreed with Natalie, as that made sense; after which, he proceeded to make his way over to the closet to grab the baby bag. After which he went ahead and started to pack it up, that way he can get his brother and sister-in-law on their way, because he wants to have time alone with his wife.

Time where he can hold her in his arms, and where he can make her feel better, which is exactly what she needs right now. She needs him to hold her in his arms, which is exactly what Ryan and Sarah Miller are in the midst of doing in their new Bensenville Home.
