Lucy was trying out the piano again in private; she felt unconfident.
Meanwhile, Lincoln came home looking down. He had a pretty bad day. Same for Luke.
"What happened?" Luna asked
"I got humiliated…" Lincoln says
Leni holds Luke, rubbing his back. He was mad because he lost Student Of The Month.
"It's okay." Leni says.
Luke just stomps away.
Lucy was trying to practice. "I'm not Luna. I'm not allowed to do this." Lucy sighed, remembering Lynn Sr. telling her not to play the piano.
Lucy's eyes watered as she went to Lincoln's room.
Luna feels bad for Luke.
"I LOST TO HIM!" Luke sobbed.
"Oliver?" Lucy asked.
"Who else?!" Luke sobbed. Lucy reads him a poem as he cries continuously.
"I know you can do it next month. I believe in you." Luna says.
"What month is it?!" Luke shouts.
"April." Luna says.
"Two more months of school. I'll never win Student Of The Month by then…" Luke says sadly.
Luna holds him.
A few days later, Luke hissed at Oliver.
Lincoln felt bad for him. He saw Luke try to punch Oliver.
"Luke, no!" Lincoln says as Luke punches Oliver. Luke then stomps away.
The principal came. Luke was long gone before he could say anything. The last thing he wanted was to be suspended or sentenced to detention.
Lucy sees the music club and tears up, scared. Lincoln smiles reassuringly at Lucy.
She gets nervous and sees Tabby in the music club. Lucy was shaking.
"Hello, dudette! Lookin' to join this amazing club?" Tabby says.
Lucy nods shyly.
"Come on in!" Tabby says. Lucy came in.
With Luke, he ran far away from the school.
Luke hissed, not wanting to be in trouble.
The principal calls Charity.
"Luke hit Oliver? He had his reasons! If you suspended him or gave him detention, then that tells me that he fears school even more now!" Charity says.
Meanwhile, Lucy played the piano.
"How wonderful!" Tabby says.
"Thanks." Lucy says shyly.
The principal was startled by the fury in Charity's voice.
He decided to let Luke off with a warning.
Soon, the music club ended as Lucy gathered her things as she remembered when Lynn Sr. told her not to. She could hear his spirit being disappointed in her.
Lucy teared up as Tabby noticed.
"Those naysayers telling you that you aren't somebody? Well, what I do is I turn my speakers up to 11 and I drown them out! Haters have nothin' on me!" Tabby says.
"Sniff…Thanks" Lucy says and heads home, noticing it was late. She hoped she wasn't in trouble.
She arrived to see Luke in tears.
"Luke?" Lucy asked.
"They threatened to kick Luke out of school…." Luke sobbed.
Lucy holds him.
"All because I was trying to defend myself!" Luke cried. Lucy pats his back.
Charity overhears and is furious. She had gotten a call from the school board before Lucy got home, and they had threatened to expel Luke from school. That alone was making her mad.
"Where were you, Luce-Change?" Luna asked.
"My club." Lucy lied.
"We have an issue here. Luke's expulsion is on the table at the next school board meeting." Charity says.
"I suggest we talk to Oliver's father." Lisa says.
"I think we should talk to Gabriel." Charity says.
Charity calls Gabriel, who comes over.
"They're going to expel my son because of your son!" Charity says angrily. "Your son hurt mine emotionally and mentally!"
Gabriel agreed to talk to Oliver.
Oliver sat on the couch, holding his bloody nose. Gabriel sat with him.
"What were you thinking?!" Gabriel asked Oliver.
"He's my nemesis." Oliver says.
"That is no excuse for you bragging about things or stealing from him! You are grounded for 4 months!" Gabriel shouted.
Oliver looks down.
At dinner. "Oh, I have a pageant this Saturday." Lola says.
"Great." Luke says, not wanting to eat.
Lucy holds him. Luke says nothing.
Soon, in mid-May, it was Luan's 15th birthday. Luke didn't attend. He was angry and upset yet again. He lost Student Of The Month to Lincoln.
Luke just watched Luan celebrate her birthday from upstairs.
"Lincoln…" Lucy says.
Lincoln looked at Lucy.
She shoved his face in the cake and stormed off. "That was for Luke." she hissed.
Luke didn't speak to Lincoln. At all.
"Lucy!" Lincoln says.
"I only have one brother." Lucy says. The other siblings glared at Lincoln.
"It's not my fault they chose me! Talk to the principal." Lincoln says and goes to his room.
Luan looks at her cake, not feeling like celebrating anymore. All she could do was pity Luke.
The next day, Lucy trapped Lincoln in his locker and others laughed at Lincoln.
Clyde helped him out. "What was that about?" Clyde asked.
"Lucy hates it when Luke is mad, and is taking her anger out on me." Lincoln says as Lucy pushed him down.
"The student of the month is on the floor!" Lucy mocked.
Luke didn't bother going back to school, even though they didn't expel him.
Luke stayed home, shaking alone in his room.
Charity got a call from the principal.
"NOT IN THE MOOD FOR THIS, RAMIREZ!" Charity screamed. "NOT. IN. THE. MOOD!"
After school, Lucy headed to her music club.
"Lincoln is a jerk." Lucy says to Tabby.
"I heard. So uncool of him to just…take that from Luke." Tabby says.
"I know." Lucy says.
Luna got Luke a gift. Luke looked at it. It was a new plush toy of Ace Savvy.
Lincoln stayed at Clyde's house to avoid Luke and his siblings.
On May 28th, it was the final day of school as Luke sees Lincoln and tells Lucy the plan. They soon ambush Lincoln, along with Lola. Lincoln screamed for help, but no one would help him. Lola broke his leg, which made him scream in pain.
