These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Mina Ashido is a vivacious hero in training. 59. Yawara Chatora (Tiger)

A.N. — It's a not-birthday drabble for today's star, who was actually born on the 29th of February. This chapter also marks a few firsts for this story: the first trans character, and first true team hero. Neither of those are what I chose to write about, though. Happy birthday, Yawara Chatora! And my mother!

59. Yawara Chatora/Tiger

Yawara Chatora sometimes regretted buying into the Pussycats' aesthetic so much. His mid-thirties were approaching; the cutesy clothes were getting harder to pull off — both figuratively and literally. Pliabody only helped so much.

It was sobering to realize he was at the median retirement age for heroes now. Whether through accumulated wear and tear, burnout from the long hours, or death in the line of duty, a pro's time was short. Tiger hadn't felt his years encroaching on him... until Ragdoll's quirk was stolen. Yawara was injured in her rescue, but seeing the vivacious Tomoko so distraught aged him.
