Lucy sighed looking for cool spells.

"Sigh, life is boring. No magic." Lucy says. She thinks of a spell to go to hell.

Meanwhile, in the Inkwell Isles…

Say goodbye to Cuphead!" cackled The Devil, holding Mugman tight.

"Goodbye to Cuphead…" Mugman whimpered.

In a flash of brimstone and hellfire, Cuphead helplessly watched as his brother was spirited away by The Devil himself. In that moment, he knew he needed to do two things: Find help and get his brother back, no matter the cost.

But to whom could he turn to? Cuphead shuddered at telling Elder Kettle what happened. How was he going to explain that they went out for a simple bike ride and now his brother was trapped in hell, held hostage by the Devil himself? All because of his expired soul debt and taunting of the most wicked figure in hell. Tears began to swell up in his eyes. His brother was gone! Elder Kettle was going to be so mad! Cuphead whimpered and did his best not to cry.

"I gotta find help!" he sniffled. Turning on his heel, the young cup went racing out of the woods and back into the city. "Hey! I need help! Please! Somebody! The Devil took my brother!"

Of course, the residents of the Inkwell Isles were not complete fools. They might not have feared The Devil as much as they once did, but his recent rampage in the city reminded them why it was best to not anger Old Scratch. Cuphead found no help among the population.

"Your brother shouldn't have angered The Devil!" a lovely dragonfly woman remarked.

"It's his own fault for getting kidnapped!" Spoke an elephant.

"Good luck, kid," a bumblebee policeman muttered.

No one wanted to tango with danger that was on the level with The Devil. In order to do, it would take a person of extreme skill, strength, or charm to go one on one with the greatest threat that Inkwell Isles had ever faced. Cuphead was not deterred by the citizens apathetic response. He was determined to save his brother.

"But Mugman needs help!" Cuphead declared, stepping onto a conveniently placed soapbox. "And it wasn't his fault neither! It was mine! The Devil took him cause I made him mad and so I'm asking you, please help me get my brother back!"

It was an impassioned speech. Surely one that would go down in the annals of time, but for the residents of Inkwell Isle, it barely made a dent in their stone-cold hearts. They left the distressed young boy. One by one, the crowd dispersed and Cuphead was once again left all alone. The young cup made a valiant effort to not cry, but it was an exercise in futility. No one would help him and Mugman was trapped in hell. Cuphead sobbed as his heart was overwhelmed by fear, shame, and regret. The loudest wail that had ever been heard or would ever be heard on the Isle echoed through the towering skyscrapers. While the residents were scared and sympathetic to a point, it seemed to be a shared thought among them that a small boy crying in the middle of the street was a nuisance and should be taken home. The bumblebee policeman shook his head and reached forward to grab Cuphead.

"No!" Cuphead hiccupped. "I'm not going nowhere until someone helps me get my brother back!"

"Don't make this any harder than it has to be, kid." The policeman says.

Cuphead evaded a capture. He ran with The Devil's pitchfork in hand away from the police and other residents who thought it was best he was taken home. Of course, running away from a police officer and others was not something that Cuphead was exceptionally skilled in. Though he was fast and agile, he had no plan in mind above running. Thankfully, a quick hand and a quicker mind pulled him into a darkened alley before anyone was wise to the subterfuge that had taken place. The mob went running down the street while Cuphead attempted to quiet his sobs. Through bleary tears he looked upon his rescuer and saw that it was none other than the charming Ms. Chalice.

"Hey, Luke, wanna go on a trip?" Lucy asked.

"A trip to where?" Luke asked.

"Somewhere dark." Lucy says.

"Hmmmm…" Luke thinks.

"Maybe you may find a girlfriend…" Lucy teased.

Cuphead and Chalice arrived in hell.

"Mugsy must be suffering…" Cuphead says.

"Nothing can stop us! I'm not afraid of anything." Chalice says.

"Boo!" Lucy says, scaring her.

Chalice screamed and kicked Lucy. "She must be the Devil's minions."

"No, but I worship hell." Lucy grinned.

"Please help me save my brother…" Cuphead pleaded.

"How? Do you want me to fight the devil?" Luke asked before he noticed Chalice.

"What?" Chalice asked.

"Luke?" Lucy asked.

Sometime later, they spot Mugman playing marbles.

"There he is!" Cuphead says and goes over to Mugman.

Luke was admiring Chalice.

Cuphead and Mugman squealed and hugged as Lucy took out a chalk.

Chalice hugged them as Lucy pulled them into a portal sending them back.

"Thanks, creepy." Cuphead says as Mugman shivered looking at Lucy.

"Come on, Luke, let's go home now." Lucy says.

"Bye!" Chalice waved as Lucy and Luke wave and head home.

At home, Luke was grinning. He fell in love. Luke couldn't stop smiling. Lucy blushed a bit, thinking of Cuphead.

"Hey, you two." Lincoln says.

"What do you want, Lincoln?" Luke says.

"You okay?" Lincoln asked.

"I'm in love…" Luke says.

"That's nice." Lincoln says.

At dinner, Luke and Lucy are eating, but they're also lost in thought.

"Are you two okay?" Luna askedd.

"We fell in love…" They both say.

"That's good " Charity says

"So what are their names?" Lola asked.

"Why? Are you going to make fun of us?" Luke asked.

"No." Lola says.

"My girlfriend's name is Chalice…" Luke says dreamily.

"Nice!" Lola says

"Mine is…Cuphead." Lucy says as Lola bursts out laughing. "A video game ha ha ha!" Lola laughed.

"Lola, take your dinner to your room! Right now!" Charity shouted.

Lola does so, as Lucy had left the house unnoticed.

Luke eats his dinner in silence, thinking everyone hates his girlfriend, especially Lola.

"So, Chalice…she seems nice." Luna says.

"Even though we don't know her." Luan says.

"Um, Chalice and Cuphead? You met them? Dang it…" Lincoln says.

"Jealous you weren't there?" Luna asked as Lincoln nodded.

Luke just looks down at his plate.

"We support your relationship." Leni says.

After dinner, Luke sits in his room, hissing.

Luna came to check on him.

"Are you okay?' She asked.

"No one approves of my love!" Luke cried.

"We do. Don't listen to what Lola says." Luna says.

Luke sobs. "She ruins my happiness!" He cried.

Luna holds him as he cries.

The next day, Luke joins the family for breakfast. He says nothing as he starts eating.

"Luke, I'm sorry." Lola says truthfully. "I had no intention of hurting you. Really, it was Lucy I was teasing, not you."

Lucy had been in her room since last night. Charity comes up with her breakfast and gives it to her.

"Hey, sweetie. Are you doing okay?" Charity asked Lucy as she fed her the slightly burned eggs and bacon.

Lucy shook her head, looking down.

"Sweetie, I approve of your boyfriend. Don't listen to the others." Charity says. She nods.

Luke can't stop thinking of Chalice as he hisses at a picture of the others.

Leni knocks on his door.

"Leni, what is it?" Luke says.

"Are you okay?" Leni asked.

"No one is happy that I found love!" Luke sobbed.

"I am happy! Linky was just sad that he couldn't go with you, but he supports you. We're all happy for you. I think you're just mad at Lola." Leni says. Luke nods sadly.

"She always stole my happiness…" Luke sniffed.

Lucy heads out.

"Lucy?" Lola says, looking down.

"What, Lola?" Lucy says.

"I'm sorry." Lola says.

The siblings had gotten Luke a cake for getting a girlfriend. Luke looked stunned by this.

"You like?" Lisa asked.

"Yes, I do like it!" Luke says. "Can we eat it now?"

Lana nods as Charity serves the cake, then everyone sits down to eat it. After the cake, Luke is talking about Chalice.

They listen to him and smile.

"When can we meet her?" Luan asked.

"That's up to Lucy." Luke says, not knowing the way.

Lucy was at Haiku's place. She was having feelings for Cuphead.

"You're acting strange." Haiku says.

Lucy tells her all about her new boyfriend.

"Luke and I aren't officially with them. We just have a crush." Lucy says, blushing.

Luke just got angry at Lola and hissed. Lola wasn't home, but Luke didn't care. He hissed at photos of Lola.

Lana and Lola were at a Bluebell Scouts meeting, talking about cookie season.

"You went too far." Lana says.

"Well, sugar and chocolate chip cookies are the best." Lola says.

"I meant with Luke." Lana says.

Lola looks down.

"Why can't you just be happy for him?" Lana asked.

"I am. It's Lucy. She's dating a video game character. Luke makes sense. Lucy doesn't." Lola says.

"Now you see why she hates you." Lana says. Lola nods.

Lucy sighed, heading home, feeling unaccepted. The twins were home from the meeting.

Lucy sees them.

"Hey." Lola says. Lucy stared at her.

"What?" Lola asked.

"I think you know that she is still mad at you." Luna says.

"Look, I'm sorry." Lola says.

Lucy goes to her band.

"Tabby?" Lucy asked.

"Yes?" Tabby says.

"I'm in love with someone that isn't human." Lucy confessed.

Tabby glared. "Who did it?" She asked. She knew Lucy's expressions and she does a certain one when teased.

Lucy sniffed and explained.

"Lucy, you're not normal, but who is? As long as you're happy, then that's what matters." Tabby says as Lucy smiled.
