A world with quirks means its people are wind up rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Mina Ashido is a vivacious hero in training. She's equally enthusiastic about her classmates' love lives.

61. Pankration

A.N. — Continuing the birthday crunch that is early March, today's character was born tomorrow (March 3) but slots in here instead mainly because I didn't want to pair two females back-to-back when there's more males to write for in canon. So, happy (early) birthday Pankration.

Pankration has the most unimaginative quirk name ever: Power. So unoriginal, in fact, Izuku Midoriya (with his encyclopedic hero knowledge) had used it unknowingly as a cover name for his true quirk.

Izuku had heard of the Greek hero, at least, before seeing him on I-Island. He was hard to miss, actually, standing 190 cm tall and decked out Olympic-style.

In person, outside of his god-like physique, you'd never know Pankration had Power for a quirk. Always smiling, willing to make time for both fans and those in need, Pankration was a walking ambassador for the Mediterranean lifestyle.
