Tabby and Lucy were having their first concert. Luke was just looking down the whole time.

Luna looked confused. "Lucy's in a concert?" She asked as Luke looked mad. Lucy noticed and looked a bit hurt and frowned. Luke just watches the concert, frowning.

When it finished, people clapped. Luke clapped as well before he finally left.

"He is happy for you, honey. He's just dealing with pre-school jitters." Charity says. "He's entering 7th grade this year."

Lucy looks at her other siblings. "You liked it?" She asked. They nodded.

She smiled and went to her Mortician club to organize a funeral.

Meanwhile, Luke sat in his room and hissed. Leni checks in on him. He felt lonely and sad.

"What's wrong?" Leni asked.

"Even though I'm in love with Chalice, I still feel lonely." Luke says.

"Let's find Lucy. She can help." Leni says.

Leni sees Lucy drawing a portal.

"I was going to see Cuphead." Lucy blushed. Leni looked at Luke.

"Go with her, Luke. Maybe being with Chalice will make you happy." Leni says.

Luke nods and goes with Lucy.

They are soon falling into the Inkwell Isles. They land in a big cake. They notice Ribby and Croaks looking at them.

"Hey!" They say as Lucy grabbed Luke and ran. They bump into the cups.

"Oh, hey." Cuphead says.

"Hey." Luke says, looking and sees Chalice wasn't there.

"She's not with you, is she?" Luke asked.

No, she's off on her own." Cuphead says as Luke rushes off.

"What was the cake for?" Lucy asked Cuphead.

"Ribby and Croaks." Mugman says.

"And we planned on taking it." Cuphead says.

Luke sees Chalice scamming. He didn't want to bother her. She soon hid in an alleyway.

Luke bought a pearl necklace from a nearby jewelry shop. He then waited for Chalice.

Chalice spots him. "Oh, it's Luke, right?" she asked.

"Yes, that is me. Here, this is for you." Luke says, giving her the pearl necklace.

"Awww, thanks!" Chalice says and gives him a charm dance. Luke loves her dancing.

Chalice was gone, however.

Luke sighed. She came back with chocolate for him as he was surprised. She smiled and waved. Luke kissed her cheek and smiled back.

Chalice was stunned as she blushed a bit.

They talk a bit, and Chalice brings up her upcoming birthday.

"I never celebrate. Goodbye, I need to go now." Chalice says.

Luke and Lucy arrive back. Luke dashes off to his room as he has a plan. Lucy followed Luke. Luke hissed as he started working on a plan for Chalice's birthday.

She just watched as Luke worked on his plans for Chalice.

Lucy nods, wanting to be like him. Luke then looks at Lucy and smiles at her as she heads off.

A few days later, Luke was stirring cake batter as the siblings were watching.

"Making a cake for your girlfriend?" Luna asked.

Luke nods. "It's a chocolate cake. Which I'm frosting with gold frosting and topping with golden Oreo cookies, her favorite. Today, she turns 13." He says.

"Hey, Cuphead, what's with the grinding?" Mugman asked.

"I wanna get Chalice a birthday gift." Cuphead says. "Because I want her to have something that she doesn't have to do her charm dance for."

"Neat." Mugman says.

"Take me, please!" Lincoln says, begging Lucy. Lucy thinks.

Luke puts the finishing touches on the cake, then sticks a #13 candle in it and puts it in a yellow cake box.

"Fine, all right, this will hurt me, but okay." Lucy says and draws a portal. Luke and Lincoln follow her.

Luna follows them.

Soon, they arrive in the Inkwell Isles.

They noticed lava everywhere and saw the Devil dancing.

"What the heck is going on here?!" Luke asked.

"Chalice's soul is on the line so she's challenging the Devil to see who's the greatest dancer." Cuphead says.

Luke's fear began to grow. He nearly drops the cake as his heart is beating fast.

The dance was epic but it ended with Chalice tripping on marbles. Everyone gasped.

However, Cuphead challenged the Devil to a game of marbles, with all 3 cups' souls on the line and freedom. At the end, Cuphead won 5 times as Mugman and Lucy had to stop Cuphead before he got greedy.

Luke trembles as he walks off, cake in hand.

"Nice cake." Chalice says.

"Thanks…It's for something special." Luke says.

"Special?" Chalice asked curiously.

Luke later took Chalice to the Inkwell Isles town square.

"SURPRISE!" Everyone shouts at Chalice. "HAPPY 13TH BIRTHDAY!"

"Awww, thanks!" Chalice says. "This is nice."

Cuphead gives Chalice his gift. She opens it. It was new shoes. She gasped and put them on.

"My first ever gift!" Chalice says, smiling.

Luke gives his gift, which is a diamond bracelet with some golden charms that remind him of her.

She opens Mugman's gift, which was a doll. A rag doll that looked like the doll from Chalice's childhood. She gasped with surprise and held it close to her.

Luke performed a song as Chalice smiled.

"Amazing!" Chalice says. "You're super talented!"

Luke smiled. "Thanks." Luke says.

"Aren't you on a TV show or something?" Chalice asked.

"Not now. But I will be soon." Luke says.

Later they danced. Chalice smiled at Luke.

"You're so amazing…" Chalice says.

Luke smiled. "So are you." He says. "I really like you, Chalice. I mean that."

"I like you, too." Chalice says with a small blush crossing her face.

Meanwhile, Lynn sighed, reflecting on the past as she sat in her cell. She wishes she could just change her ways.

"You're only here for a few more days." a girl says.

"I know. I just regret the way I treated my siblings. I should have just accepted the loss instead of being aggressive and accusing Luke of having bad luck…" Lynn says before tearing up. The girl pitied her.

"I even spent my birthday here…" Lynn says sadly.

Soon, Chalice sees her cake and smiles. "Who made this?" She asked.

"Luke." Lucy says, pointing at him.

"You remembered two of my favorite sweets…chocolate cake and golden Oreos!" Chalice says, smiling and kissing Luke on the cheek.

Luke blushed as he lit the #13-shaped candle on the cake. Everyone soon begins singing to Chalice.

Chalice couldn't believe that she was actually celebrating her birthday. She smiled and took this moment in, knowing she would want this kind of thing every year from now on.

"Make a wish!" Luke says to Chalice.

She wished for more birthdays like this one and blew out her candle as everyone cheered. She then cut the cake and took three slices for herself. Like Cuphead, she was an avid lover of all things sweet.

Lucy was getting ready to go home.

"Will I see you again?" Cuphead asked her.

Lucy nodded as she saw Luke kissing Chalice.

"It was so cool!" Lincoln says.

Soon, Luke was ready to leave.

"Let's go home." Lucy says.

Luke and Lincoln leave with Lucy.
