A.N. — It's a Big 3 birthday today, but it's the one I feel I have the worst grasp on. He's just not as prevalent in fandom as his two classmates, probably 'cause of his socially adverse personality. Still, though, happy birthday Tamaki Amajiki!
63. Tamaki Amajiki/Suneater
UA didn't just teach its students how to defeat villains; they also taught the public relations side of heroics. Tamaki Amajiki became a viable hero because of it.
Through the school, Tamaki interned with Fat Gum. The Pro had no issues digging into Tamaki's mental state, pushing him past his crippling confidence issues. Tamaki hated it, but knew the long-term benefits outweighed his discomfort.
Still, without Mirio and Hado breaking down the last of his barriers, Suneater wouldn't have stayed on the heroics path. All the lessons he absorbed at UA functioned like his quirk: drastically altering his output.
