Well, now if that wasn't a nice Casey Family chapter. And while I could easily continue with that storyline that I am currently following at their home, I have decided to do something first, which would be to make a quick detour at the Halstead home. Chapter Three Hundred and Sixty-Three
Communication
Meanwhile, in Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood, Jay Halstead was currently in the midst of walking out of his twins' nursery shortly after putting both Michael and Olivia down for their nap. The nap that not only his children need, but that he and Alex need them to take at the moment. And that was due to the fact that something was off with Alex. Something's been off with her since they were out today, while they were doing a couple laps around the block with the twins and Max. And that was making him worry, as he didn't want her to hide things from her, which is what he believes she's doing. So, he decided that he was going to talk to his wife and see whether she was okay. But first, maybe a nice hug will do the trick when it comes to starting the conversation that they need to have with each other. A hug from behind, which is always very sexy in Alex's eyes; simply due to the fact that she loves the feeling.
The feeling of her husband's strong arms wrapped tight around her waist, just like they are right now, which always leads to something else. And that would be a whisper in her ear, and some sex. But that isn't want Jay wants right now, as he instead wants his wife to talk to him. Especially now that she's starting to be a little distant, which is something that neither of them want; they don't want to be distant with each other, as they need to be a team right now. And Jay was going to reinforce that message, as he left a kiss on the side of her head and spoke to his wife. "You have something on your mind, that you aren't sharing with me; and I don't like it." Alex sighed as Jay mentioned that she has something on her mind that she isn't sharing with him, as she knew that was the truth; she knew that she had something on her mind, which she was not sharing with her husband at the moment. So, she knew what she had to do.
She had to turn around and talk to her husband about what was on her mind, which would be Antonio. "It's Antonio." Jay was confused as he heard Alex say that, before thinking that she meant that she was having some problems with him. "Do you need me to talk to him? I'm sure that it's all a misunderstanding babe, and it's nothing to fight over." Alex then realized what Jay was thinking she was talking about, and that would be that she was currently in a fight with one of their friends, which couldn't be further from the truth. Rather, she was thinking about the news that he just gave her. "It's Diego, he has COVID." Jay was shocked as he heard Alex say that. "Oh." Alex agreed with her husband as he said that. "I mean, I know he's not our family; but…" Moving his hand to the side of Alex's face, Jay stepped close to his wife as he understood what she was trying to say. And it was that it was hitting close to home.
Especially since Antonio literally lives in the same block as them. "Wow, so…" Alex agreed with her husband. "They said that they would understand if we wanted to work virtually with them for now, just as a precaution for the kids. Apparently, he's had it for a bit; but they thought it was a cold and just tested him now." Jay agreed with his wife. "Well, I hope that he feels better." Alex agreed with her husband. "Antonio is okay, he isn't positive for COVID. So, we're safe, but it…" Leaning in, Jay proceeded to kiss Alex softly; after all, he could see how scared she was at the moment. "Listen, how about you go sit down? I can grab you some water, and then come join you." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that. "Did you turn the baby monitor on?" Jay agreed with Alex. "Let me guess, you want to sit in bed?" Alex looked down at Jay asked her that, while he got close to her and wrapped his strong arms around his wife.
An action that was greatly appreciated by her, as it made her feel safe; being in his arms always makes her feel safe. "Thanks for that." Turning his head, Jay looked down at Alex while shaking his head. "You have no need to thank me when it comes to me holding you in my arms, as I will always do it whenever you need me to hold you in my arms." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, smiling at the man she loves before moving her hands to his toned chest; after which, she kissed him softly and took things nice and slow with the man of her dreams. And let's just say that this kiss was no normal kiss, as it was a kiss that was steamy and hot; something that can easily start something (which it did). It led to Jay picking Alex up in his arms and wrapping her legs around his waist; while she wrapped her arms around his chest and just held her man close. "Bed, now." Jay agreed with Alex, as that was exactly where he wanted to be.
He wanted to be in bed with his beautiful wife. "Don't have to ask me twice." Alex agreed with Jay, smirking as she leaned in and kissed the man of her dreams softly; at the same time, he wrapped his arm around her back and turned around while starting to carry her to their room. The room where Jay was going to give her some action, which is what Alex wants right now; and it was also what she was already getting as Jay started to take off her blouse for her. And damn did Alex love that feeling, while she grabbed the back of Jay's head and moved to lean in and kiss his neck softly. "Fuck you." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before joking with her. "No, I plan on fucking you today." Alex smirked as she felt Jay tug on her shirt, before pushing it off her shoulders so that he could take it off, which she allowed him to do with glee as it was exactly how she wanted to be right now, wearing nothing but her bra.
Yet at the same time, she also wanted something else; she wanted her husband to be shirtless. Not that she would have to wait long for that to be the case, as Jay is ready to take off his shirt just as soon as he has Alex on their bed, which is where she always ends up right after he carries her into their room, because they have this routine down to a science. Jay picks her up and carries her into their room, while she takes off her shirt for him; then, he lays her down on their bed and he takes off his shirt for her. And god, does Alex love it when he does that for her, because her husband is a real hunk. A hunk whose body she wants to run her hands all over and will do just that the moment they're in bed with each other; while also enjoying the feeling of his lips on her neck. "Oh Jay." Smirking as he bent down and proceeded to suck on Alex's neck, Jay just enjoyed what he was getting from his wife right now as he loved it.
But most importantly, he loved her. He loved his beautiful wife more than anything in the entire world and will always want to show her that by taking her in his arms in their bed; not that Alex would ever want him to do anything other than that. She wants her husband to take her in his arms whenever he can, as he makes her feel like the luckiest woman in the entire world. Because in her eyes, that's exactly what she is. She's the luckiest woman in the entire world, because she's Jay's wife; while also being the mother of his children, who they both love more than anything in the entire world. And yes, that even includes each other; because those children are a product of their love, love that has never been questioned. Jay and Alex have loved each other for years and will continue to love each other until the end of time; that's something that neither of them doubt, nor will they ever doubt that fact.
The sight of his wife standing in front of him in lingerie was something so sexy, that Jay decided that he needed to tease her in return; tease her by not yet taking off his jeans, which would reveal his boxers that Alex loves. But that doesn't mean that she's happy about him stalling in taking off his pants, as she wants to cuddle up to him in bed and take things nice and slow with him. "Ok. Can you please stop stalling when it comes to what I want right now?" Jay snickered as he heard Alex say that, well aware of what she wants. "Who said I was the one that was stalling?" Alex then realized what Jay wanted, smiling as she got close to him and wrapped her arms around his neck; meanwhile, Jay wrapped his arms around her and turned his head to kiss his gorgeous wife softly. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, kissing him once more as she ran her hands down his toned chest. And god, did her man have a body.
A body that is very muscular, and everything that she wants in a man; because Jay is not just her man, he's the man of her dreams. She doesn't want to be with anybody else, as she knows that there is nobody else for her; and she's glad that people have realized that now. Just like Jay's dreams of her taking off his pants right now have come to fruition, as she just finished taking off his belt; before also undoing the button on his jeans and starting to tug them door. All the while, she continued to kiss the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. However, what she didn't know was that Jay was going to be the one taking off his pants as he was done waiting for her to keep teasing her like she is right now. He's really turned on by the lingerie she's wearing, that he's ready to touch her. And that's especially the case, due to the fact that their children are asleep, which means they have a short window before they're up.
In fact, that was the reason she was taking her time when it came to her husband's pants; as she knew that it was torturing him, just like the feeling of her stepping close to him and putting her hands on his chest. After which, she leaned in and kissed her husband softly. "Something getting turned on by what I just did?" Letting his pants fall to the ground, Jay agreed with Alex before wrapping his arms around her and picking her up in his arms as he kicked off his socks; the last thing that he needed to do ahead of him getting in bed with his gorgeous wife. "What do you think? You always turn me on babe." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, as she couldn't agree more with the statement; he always turns her on and will always turn her on with just how muscular his gorgeous body is. "I can say the same about you, my muscular husband." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, before moving to lay his wife down.
Leaning over Alex, Jay smirked as he put his hand on her neck and then kissed her softly; just like she wanted him to. She wanted her husband to take things nice and slow with her, as they just relaxed in bed. As he hovered over her and took things nice and slow with her; or at least he thought that was what they were going to do, but Alex wasn't going to be the one who is hovered over today. Oh no, she was going to do the hovering today, and her husband was going to love it; so, she proceeded to flip him over and smirked as she climbed in top of him. "Woah." Alex smirked as she heard Jay say that, before putting her hand on his chest as she hovered over him. "Turned on?" Moving his hand to her back, Jay agreed with his gorgeous wife while placing his hand on her hip and leaning into kiss her softly. "Oh, I most certainly am turned on Ms. Halstead." Alex smiled as she heard Jay use her marital last name.
After all, that is who she is now; she's Ms. Halstead. And she'll always be Ms. Halstead, as that's how long she believes that she and Jay will be married, for the rest of their lives. Which also means that she's going to get to have sex (just like she is right now) which this gorgeous body for the rest of her life, and damn is her husband good in bed; so much so, that he always makes her moan. "JAY!" Smirking as he heard his wife moan for him, Jay couldn't help but feel proud when that happened as he just loved the sound of Alex moaning for him. As it meant one thing, it meant that he was pleasing her so much that she wanted to tell the entire world that she was pleased. "How far we going?" Alex smirked as she wanted her husband now. "I want you now Jay." Jay agreed with Alex, giving her exactly what she wants, which would be him in bed. And god, was he happy that they were in bed with each other.
It wasn't all that often that their children took long naps, so when they did they always took advantage of them, which is exactly what the parents are in the midst of doing, as they stood close to one another in the shower. With her hands on Jay's muscular chest, Alex smiled as she felt him move his hands to her sides and kiss her softly. After which, he moved his hand to her neck and just started to take things even slower, yet a lot sexier with her. And how that can be possible will always confuse Alex, but that doesn't mean that she does love how he pleases her; because that was one thing that she absolutely loved about her husband. How he pleases her, and always makes her happy no matter the situation. All she needs in life is his strong arms around her, and she will be a very happy woman. "I hope you know that you didn't have to join me in the shower." Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that.
Because if there as one thing that he had to do today, it was take a nice shower with his wife, which is exactly what he's in the midst of doing as he placed his hands on her hips, while also stepping close to her and kissing her softly. "Now that's the biggest lie that I've ever heard. Me not taking a shower with you was out of the question the moment we had that hot sex. And I mean hot." Alex agreed with her dreamy husband as he told her that, well aware that the sex that they just had with each other was really hot. "Oh, I know that the sex was hot. Why do you think I wanted to have it?" Jay smirked as he leaned in and kissed the woman he loves. "Because you're obsessed with me." Alex laughed, as she most certainly is obsessed with her husband. "I mean, my husband's hot." Jay smiled as he heard Alex say that, as he loves the compliments that she gives him. "And my wife is so damn sexy." Alex agreed, smirking.
After which, she watched as he stepped close to her and bent down to kiss her neck; while at the same time, he also placed his other hand on the side of her neck. Sucking on her neck, Jay smirked as he wanted to make sure that his wife knew just how much he loves her. "I love you Alex." Alex agreed with Jay, while turning her head and kissing him softly. "I love you too, no matter where we live." Jay agreed with Alex, smiling at the most beautiful woman in the entire world. "And I'm kind of glad that it's Chicago. As much as I loved Hawaii, it feels nice to be close to Adam and Kim again." Alex agreed with her husband as he said that, as that was definitely one of the bright sides of being here. "That's one of the things that I cling to when it comes to the bring sides of things." Jay was confused as he heard his wife say that, unsure as to what she was talking about. "Are you okay Alex?" Alex sighed, while looking at her husband.
She then decided to tell him. "I guess, I'm still questioning all of this." Jay got concerned as he heard Alex say that. "You mean us moving back to Chicago?" Alex nodded, as that was exactly what she was questioning. "We did it for our jobs Jay, and it just makes me wonder whether…" Alex then looked down. "Whether it was really the right thing. I mean yes, I want to…you know what, not here." Jay agreed with his wife as she said that, well aware of the reason why she didn't want to talk here. And it was due to what she was going to be brining up, or more specifically who she was going to bring up. "I know what you mean. So, what do you say we get out of here, and we can go sit in bed as we talk about it?" Alex agreed with her husband, as she thought that was a good idea. "Sweats?" Jay agreed with Alex, more than ready to wear some sweats for the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world.
Walking out of the bathroom in his sweats, Jay couldn't help but smile at the sight of his beautiful wife standing at her vanity; and that was due to the fact that she was just wearing some lingerie for him. Lingerie that he most certainly wishes he could take off, but also knew that he wasn't going to take off; because they needed to relax as they talked to each other. So instead, he was just going to admire it was he held his beautiful wife close to him; while also making her feel better the only way he can. By kissing her in places where no other man can kiss her: her sweet lips, her neck, and her shoulder. And that's exactly what he did the moment he walked up behind his beautiful wife, he put his hands on her hips and bent down to kiss her shoulder. After which, he wrapped his arms around her and held her close to him. "You know that you can always talk to me, right babe?" Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, nodding.
After all, she knows that better than anybody; that she can always talk to the man she loves. He's been there every step of the way, and he'll always be there for her. That's something that she can always rely on, and she's so happy that she can rely on him to help her when she needs him. "I'm so lucky to have a husband who's always there for me when I need him." Jay shook his head. "Hey, turn around and look at me." Alex agreed with Jay, doing just that before stepping close to him and putting her hands on his chest; meanwhile, Jay put his hands on her hips and held the woman he loves close to his chest. Kissing her afterwards, he moved his hand to the side of her face as he stared into her eyes. "I never want to hear you question whether or not you can talk to me Alex. I'm your husband Alex, which means that you turn to me whenever you need to turn to somebody to talk to." Alex agreed with Jay.
"I know, there are just times…"
Grabbing his wife's hand, Jay showed her that her was here for while; while at the same time, he just listened to what Alex had to say. "There are times where I don't know what to say, or what's really on my mind." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, as he knew what she was dealing with right now as there were times in the past where he felt the same way. "Alex, really?" Alex just looked at her husband. "Yeah, there are times where I don't know how to say things so that you'll understand." Jay then proceeded to step close to the woman he loves, wrapping his arms around her before kissing her softly. "Alex, do you want to get in bed together? Or would you rather we sit on the couch as we cuddle? Your choice as to where we sit." Alex smiled as she proceeded to wrap her arms around his neck. "I want to cuddle up to you in bed and run my hand around this body." Jay agreed with Alex, smirking as he held her close.
After which, he leaned in and kissed the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "Want me to grab you one of my shirts that you can wear with your underwear?" Alex smirked, as that was exactly what she wanted him to do for her. "Oh, you know I do." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, well aware that she loves wearing his clothes; while also watching her turn around and walk away in her underwear. He then reached down and grabbed her butt, while also squeezing it. "Hey!" Jay smirked. "Maybe you should wear a shirt, you're wearing lingerie after all." Alex agreed with Jay, well aware that was the case. "Let me guess, you want to calm down?" Jay agreed. "We're going to have the kids soon." Alex agreed with Jay. "Then how about this, I swear some of your sweats?" Jay agreed with Alex as he walked over to his dresser. "But you stay shirtless, while I wear a sports bra." Jay agreed with Alex.
"I think that sounds fair, because I like that idea."
Jay then went ahead and opened his drawer, before grabbing some of his sweats for his beautiful wife; meanwhile, Alex stood at her dresser while going to pick out a sports bra for her man. That's when she decided to settle on a bra sports bra, while setting it on top of her dresser; after which, she went ahead and took off the top that she was currently wearing. And let's just say that really turned Jay on, as he just whistled at her. "Damn baby, now you know how to turn a man on." Alex laughed as she heard her husband say that, before grabbing the sports bra and going to put it on; meanwhile Jay made his way over her to so that he could put his hands on her body for a moment, while he still could. And let's just say that Alex was glad he came over, as he ended up grabbing her bra and did it up for her. "Thanks." Jay shook his head. "No problem." Alex smiled as she heard Jay say that, while turning around in his arms.
Meanwhile, Jay stepped close to her and put his hands on either side of her on her dresser; while Alex wrapped her arms around his back and leaned in to kiss her husband softly. "I love you." Jay agreed with Alex, loving her too. "I love you too, forever." Jay then proceeded to pick his beautiful wife up in his arms, before carrying her over to their bed where she was going to lay down; but not before she puts her sweats on. "Not so fast mister, I am going to put my sweats on before I get in bed." Jay agreed with Alex, before setting her down next to their bed; meanwhile, Alex grabbed the sweats before moving to put them on right in front of Jay. And when she says right in front of Jay, she really means that as Jay is currently hovering at the moment. "Ok, hovering." Jay snickered as he heard Alex say that, while watching as she tugged his sweats up; after which he put his hands on her hips and held her close.
"Oh, don't act like you don't love it when I hover."
Alex agreed with Jay as she did up the sweats, before moving her hands to his muscular chest. "Especially when you're hovering over me." Jay smirked as he heard Alex say that, before leaning in and kissing the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; the woman he can see himself spending the rest of his life with, which is something that she knows. "God, I am so glad that I get to spend to rest of my life loving you to pieces." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that he most certainly was going to do just that. He was going to love her for the rest of his life, and she most certainly was never going to be opposed to that, which she showed him by getting close to him and wrapping her arms around his neck. "Thank you." Turning his head, Jay was confused as he heard his wife thank him. "Hey, why are you thanking me?" Alex sighed. "Because you chose me, over all the other…"
Stopping his wife, Jay grabbed Alex's hand. "Hey, stop that. Alex, I chose you because I love you; there's no other reason why I chose to marry you. You're the love of my life, the mother of my children, and my forever." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that. "If anything, I'm not worthy of you; because you complete me babe." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that, before moving to kiss her dreamy husband once more. "I swear, you're going to make me want to have sex with you all over again." Jay snickered as he heard Alex say that, as he most certainly was not opposed to the idea of them having each other in bed all over again. "Not that I'm really opposed to that idea." Alex shook her head as she heard Jay say that, before putting her hands on his face and kissing him slowly; that was, until they heard their children tell them that it was time to be mommy and daddy again. "Looks like sexy time is over." Jay laughed.
Meanwhile, Alex grabbed his hand and led him out of their room so that they could spend time with their children, which is exactly what Matt and Gabby are in the midst of doing on the occasion of Matt's first birthday as a father.
