It was Thanksgiving. A lot had changed over the course of a few weeks.

Luke had finally come home. Luna, Lucy, Leni, Lisa, and Lincoln were very happy to see him and they were glad he was home.

Lucy hugged him for about 10 minutes. Luke smiled at her the whole time.

Charity was making a turkey dinner. Since Luan and the twins were grounded, all they could do was help Charity cook. When they weren't helping, they did homework, read books, or did puzzles.

When it was time to eat, everyone sat around the table and said what they were thankful for. After that, dinner was served.

"Um, mom?" Luna says.

"Yes, sweetheart?" Charity asked.

"I wanna take Lincoln on tour this summer." Luna says.

"That's fine with me." Charity says.

Luke eats his turkey and dressing in silence.

Lucy begins to eat. "Maybe we can sacrifice a goat." she says.

Luke stomped upstairs as Lucy followed.

The day before his birthday, Luke was upstairs, sulking.

Lucy knocks on his door.

"What, Lucy?" Luke says.

"Happy birthday, Luke." She says as she made him his birthday breakfast. He gasped at the sight of it.

"You can have my birthday. I don't really matter much to this family. I only want you to be happy. I also did all your chores." Lucy says.

Luke eats the eggs, French toast, and bacon. He then drinks the milk and gets dressed for school, then grabs his bag and leaves.

Lucy had used a spell so everyone would forget her birthday as she heads down and sees her bowl of cereal and remembers the ghost cakes she got.

"No, you did what you had to do." Lucy says.

At school, Luke feels tears in his eyes. He sees no one at school even knew about today.

Luke came into his class as confetti fell on his head.

"Happy 13th birthday, Luke!" Everyone says as Lucy had used a spell on the whole town to only celebrate Luke. Luke couldn't believe it.

Lucy smiled, basically turning everyone into birthday zombies.

There were decorations everywhere. Luke honestly didn't know what to say or think.

"Thank you." He said. He then rendered himself speechless.

"There will be no lessons for the rest of the month." the principal says.

Eventually, Luke ran off to hide. He was having an anxiety attack.

Some kids came with gifts for him. But Luke started to run away, screaming.

Some fans cheered for his birthday. He shook.

Everywhere he went, there were people wanting to celebrate.

"AGGHHHHH!" He screamed in frustration.

He came home as all his siblings and mother forced him in a birthday suit. He shrieked in horror.

"It's your birthday, Luke…" They say in a monotone voice.

"Isn't this nice? Everyone here for you! Every day will be Luke day!" Lucy says.

All Luke could do was shed tears and curl into a ball. It was his only line of defense at this point.

"What's wrong?" Lucy asked "Isn't this what you wanted? You wanted them to give you your perfect birthday. This was the only way." Lucy says.

Luke fainted as everything went black.

Luke later woke up in a cold sweat.

"Hey, Luke…" Lucy says, looking at him. Luke was visibly shaking.

"I'm sorry I mind controlled the others, even mom. They'll wake up at any moment." Lucy says.

Luke was shaking. "THAT WAS A NIGHTMARE!" Luke shouted.

She reads him a birthday poem.

"You made me have that nightmare…" Luke says, sniffling.

"I didn't want to celebrate and you love birthdays. I thought you'd love attention." She says.

"I love attention, but in my nightmare, they were smothering me!" Luke sniffed.

"Sigh, actually, some of your nightmare actually happened in real life. I had to knock them out." Lucy says.

Lucy gives him his birthday suit. "I still want you to take my day." Lucy says.

Luke sniffed. He just wanted his normal birthday traditions and he wanted a fun birthday. Not a birthday full of smothering.

"You mind controlled me?" Charity asked.

At this point, Luke teleported away from home. He couldn't take it right now.

Leni held him before he did.

She took him out to Chuck E. Cheese's. Luke sniffed and shook. He was still shaken.

"Lucy, you jerk, you mind controlled us, why?" Lola asked.

"Lucy, how could you?!" Charity asked.

Lucy was scared of Charity and ran.

Luke saw the birthday cake the workers placed before him. They sang to him as he managed a smile.

Luke thinks and wishes for a perfect party. A nice birthday celebration. He blew out the candles in two breaths.

Lucy sniffed and ran to Tabby's house to hide from Charity.

"Luce-Change, why were you mind controlling everyone?" She asked.

"I can't trust anyone." Lucy sniffed.

"Your mom will kill you." Tabby says.

Luke came home and ran to his room, sobbing. He was scared and sad.

Leni stops him. They went to Dave and Buster's as confetti fell upon Luke.

"Happy birthday, Luke!" The cups and siblings say. Luke gasps, surprised.

There were decorations everywhere.

"Lucy, they're celebrating Luke." Tabby says.

"I'm afraid…I'm afraid of my mother…" Lucy says, shaking.

Lucy curled into a ball, scared as Tabby called Lynn. Lynn came in.

"Lynn, I-I screwed up. I wanna go with you." Lucy stammered.

Lynn holds her. "Happy birthday, sis." She says.

With Luke, he danced with Chalice. Chalice held his hands. She then kissed him.

Later, Leni gave Luke her gift.

It was a new birthday suit for tomorrow. He smiled at it.

He opens Charity's gift to reveal a new Mario Kart play set. He hugs Charity.

"You're welcome." Charity says to Luke.

Later, Luke is sitting with his friends.

"She mind-controlled us, too!" Garrett says. "That was just freaky…"

"I'll say!" Stephen says.

"Why do you put up with her?" Lonnie says.

"Because she looks up to me. But today, she went too far in her efforts to give me a perfect birthday." Luke says. "She forced everyone in town to celebrate my birthday, and that was stressful and suffocating all at once."

"How long is her punishment?" Colleen asked.

"Mom grounded her until Spring Break." Luke says. "No Mortician's Club for three months, starting today. And no TV, internet, or dessert for those three months. She's lucky that she's still able to do her poetry."

"It's not fair. I know what Lucy did was wrong, but maybe we should question why she did that." Colleen says.

Later, Luna got Luke a new guitar. Luke smiled and hugged Luna.

Colleen and the rest of Luke's friends questioned Lucy about what she did and why she did it.

"Look, Lucy's not in a good mood right now. And she needs to rest, so I'm taking her to Rita's place till she's ready." Lynn says as Lucy whispers to Lynn.

"She said it was because she was worried Luan and the twins would do something." Lynn says.

"Luke knows this was intentional." Colleen says.

"Look, I don't know what's going on with Lucy, but I know whatever those 3 did, separating her from Luke, must have given Lucy a lot of trauma. Look, Lucy made a mistake, but you gotta realize it wasn't fully intentional." Lynn says.

"She has a point. We'll try and convince your mom to lighten your sentence. Just don't do it again, promise?" Colleen asked.

"Promise." Lucy sniffed

"Come on, Lucy, let's go." Lynn says.

Lucy goes with Lynn to Rita's house.

Rita sees Lucy and is surprised, but happy. "Happy birthday, my sweet goth." Rita says as Lucy cried in Rita's shirt. "Mommy!" Lucy sobbed.

"Lucy, what's wrong?" Rita asked.

"I-I-I mind controlled everyone! I was just scared of what would happen if I didn't. I thought someone would ruin Luke's first teenage birthday…" Lucy says.

"Lucy, I'm really disappointed in you." Rita says as Lucy sniffed. "What you did was wrong."

Lucy sniffed and looked down.

Meanwhile, Luke hit his piñata as candy fell out. Everyone cheered. Luke hissed and grabbed his share of the candy.

Luke then sat alone as Leni joined him. She could see Luke still felt sad about how today had been going.

She holds him.

"Some birthday…" Luke says sadly.

Soon, the lights went out as Luke freaked out. It soon lit up to show everyone around a big Mario Circuit cake that had Mario Kart toys on it. It said "Happy 13th Birthday, Luke! Our new teenager!" and it had 13 Arctic blue candles on it.

Luke began to cry.

"What's wrong?" Lisa asked.

"This day started out horribly!" Luke cried. The siblings look ashamed.

Luke sniffed as Charity lit his candles and his friends and the cups began to sing to him as he managed a smile.

"Make a wish, Lukey…" Chalice says, holding his hands.

He wished for tomorrow to be perfect as he blew out his candles.

Meanwhile, at Rita's house…

"I invited Leni over so we can watch VOM together. It is still your birthday." Lori says to Lucy

"Thank you." Lucy says.

Leni soon came over and watched the show with Lucy and Lori. Lucy smiled a bit.

At home, Luke was being tucked in by Luna. She saw the tears in Luke's eyes as she read him a bedtime story and looked at him.

"It's okay, tomorrow will be better." Luna says to Luke as he sniffed and fell asleep.

Meanwhile, Rita got Lucy a cake as she and the two girls sang to her.

Lucy then thought of a wish. Lucy wished for Luke to forgive her.
