Hi Readers: Sorry for the late start once more, but that worked out for me yesterday as I was able to give you three high-quality chapters; one of which didn't revolve around the Casey family but revolved around Jay & Alex instead. But as you know, that only lasted for a chapter due to the fact that I was much more interested in writing parts three and four of Matt's birthday. And now, I am going to continue writing Matt's birthday, starting with part five. Hope you guys like this sexier part to the birthday time we have.
Chapter Three Hundred and Sixty-Five
Happy Birthday Matt, Part Five
They decided to eat their snack before they started talking, as they wanted to make sure that they were talking to one another on a full stomach; I mean, they are going to be talking about some serious stuff. One of those important topics being the pandemic, which is definitely something that they need to stop dancing around; because if they were being honest with each other, that's exactly what they've been doing since the start of the pandemic. Sure, they've had quick conversations about it here and there whenever they saw something in the news; or whenever something related to it popped into their mind. But when it came to the two of them actually sitting down together and talking about the pandemic, and what impact it's going to play on their lives in depth; well, that's a conversation that the married couple (and parents) have yet to have with each other, but that's going to change right now.
Regardless of the fact that it's Matt's birthday today, conversations revolving around the health and safety of his family is something that Matt will talk about any day; and it doesn't matter to him whatsoever that today is his first birthday as a father. At the moment, it isn't his birthday in his mind; but it's instead a day where he's a husband and father first, and anything else last. I mean, Matt hasn't even done business today; not that he wants to do business on his birthday. Rather, he wants to take it easy and relax, which is exactly what he's going to do right here and now as he prepared to get in bed with his wife while walking out of the washroom in his boxers once more. "Yeah, so I thought that I could just sneak down and not be caught by anybody." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Who did you run into?" Matt snickered as Gabby asked him who he ran into in the kitchen.
Because, of course, he had to run into somebody while he was bringing his plate downstairs while clad in nothing but his boxers. "Let's just say that my mother was happy that I was wearing a shirt." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as she knows that his mom likes it when he wears a shirt around the house; that is, if he decides to walk around in his boxers…like he is right now. "I have to say, it's a real turn on when you walk around our room just wearing your boxers." Matt snickered as he heard Gabby say that, well aware of the fact that she loves it when he walks around their room in his boxers. "I know you like it, but you better get used to them being covered; as I'm about to join you in bed so that I can cuddle up to you." Gabby agreed with Matt, nodding as she looked at the man she loves this morning. "I think I would rather have you in bed, cuddling up to me anyways." Matt snicked, before smiling at Gabby.
After which, he did exactly what his wife has been waiting for him to do from the moment he walked out of the bathroom; and that would be to join her in bed so that he can hold her close. But before he laid down, he decided to grab his water bottle from his side table; the water bottle which he brought upstairs from when he brought the plates downstairs. Taking a sip of water, Matt smiled as he knew that this was not just something that he needed as he wanted to stay hydrated; but it was also due to the fact that he was currently teasing his wife, by not letting her touch his body and cuddle up to him right away. "You are such a tease! Just be grateful that it's your birthday and I can't be mad at you." Matt snickered as he heard Gabby say that, before turning his head and looking at his beautiful wife. "Can you ever be mad at me when we're in bed together like this?" Gabby smiled, before shaking her head.
After all, that most certainly was the truth; she can never be mad with Matt when they cuddle up to each other in bed, as he wears those tight boxers of his. "I swear, you are really turning me on right now; I hope you know that Mr. Casey." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife, well aware that he was teasing her right now. "Oh, I am well aware of the fact that I am teasing you. And even better, I know that you love it more than anything in the entire world." Moving to lay down in bed with the woman of his dreams after setting his water bottle down (and putting the lid back on it), Matt smiled as he moved towards the centre of their bed, which is exactly where Gabby wants him to be laying down at the moment as it makes it easier to cuddle up to him, and to have those strong arms around her. "No sex yet." Matt agreed with Gabby, as he felt the same way about that; he isn't ready to have sex with her yet.
He wants to wait a bit, until after they've had a chance to talk to each other about the things that are on both of their minds right now; which most certainly does include the pandemic. And that's the topic that he truly believes that he and Gabby need to talk about the most, as it was the topic that was going to be related to pretty much everything that they're going to end up talking about at some point during this conversation. "I hope you know that this doesn't have to be the only time that we talk about it." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I know that Matt, and I appreciate the fact that this doesn't have to be the only time that we talk about it." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, while deciding to move even closer to her; meanwhile, Gabby did the same while slipping her legs in between Matt's as a way to tease him on his birthday. Not that it's hard to do that.
Matt is one of the easiest people to turn on, and she can get sex from him very easily; not that she really wants to have sex at the moment. At least, not until they talk about it as husband-and-wife. "I hope you know that I'm glad that we're going to talk about all of this as husband-and-wife." Matt agreed with Gabby as he wrapped his arm around her and proceeded to stroke her back with his thumb; he then decided to lean in and kiss the woman he loves softly as he wants her to relax. "Gabby, I want you to look in my eyes and listen to me." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "Here, in our bed; our conversations will never be from the eyes of the business. Here in bed, we talk as husband-and-wife about things that may touch on the business; but the decisions we make here are only related to our family, I promise." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that she can trust that statement he made.
She knows that her husband doesn't want to talk about anything other than their family here in bed right now, not when this is such a serious topic; and that topic would be their health and the safety of their family. "I mean, it's why we moved out here rather than stay in the city instead. This is the safest place for us in my opinion." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as that was also true. If there was one place that they were the safest, then it was our here at their family home. "I'm glad that we decided to do the whole family home thing here in Chicago too." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, as that was something that he wanted as well. "It's why I did it. I mean sure, we have an office to do our work here temporarily during the pandemic; but that's something we're going to don for the benefit of our family." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case as she kissed him softly.
"Did I say happy birthday yet baby?"
Matt snickered as he heard Gabby ask him whether she said happy birthday to him, before nodding as she most certainly did. "With every single kiss that you've given me since the first one this morning." Gabby agreed with Matt, before going to "tell him happy birthday" once more, which then led Matt to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything. The love of his life, and his partner in this journey called life, his gorgeous wife Gabriela Marie Casey. "OK. Now we really need to get back on track when it comes to the topic we were talking about, which would be the pandemic." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before taking a breath. "Well, there is one thing that I want to talk to you about." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, while looking into her eyes. "And what's that?" Taking a breath, Gabby just looked at Matt, while also getting worried that this might be too much.
"You know what, never mind. This is too much to as…"
Moving his hand to Gabby's neck, Matt tugged her lips against his before kissing her softly. "Nothing is too much to ask when it comes to the health and safety our of family. So, what do you want to talk to me about baby?" Gabby sighed once more, before getting to it. "Listen, if you have to go to a meeting in Chicago; I understand but…is there any way that we can stay out here, at our home?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether he can stay out here during the pandemic, which is something that he most certainly can agree to; to say in the place where they are the safest. "Gabby, is that the thing that you are the most worried about? About me needing to go into the city a lot?" Gabby agreed with Matt, as it was. "I mean, I will understand for when you have to do the thing at Firehouse 51, that's something you need to do as it's important." Matt agreed with his wife, as it was important.
But not as important as she and the kids are to him. "But when it comes to things that you need to do for the business, can we try and just do them out here? And even when we aren't doing business, can we stay out here and maybe just be safer out here in the outskirts of Chicago?" Matt agreed with Gabby, as that's something that he most certainly can agree to; he can agree to the two of them staying on the outskirts of Chicago during the pandemic. "Babe, why do you think we bought this place rather than buy a place in the city?" Gabby looked down. "It's not just for my PTSD. It's for the pandemic too. I knew that you wouldn't want to be in town, and I knew that our kids wouldn't be good there. I wanted to be out here, as I knew that it would be the best place for us both during…and long after the pandemic is over." Gabby looked up at Matt as he said that, having thought this was just temporary.
"So, you see this being our family home for the long run?"
Matt was a bit taken aback as he heard Gabby ask him that, as he thought that they already settled that; that this wasn't just something that they were moving into temporarily. But that this is something that they want to move here permanently. "Gabby, I thought that this is something that we already spoke about?" Gabby agreed with Matt. "I did, but I just thought…" Matt sighed. "You thought that I would go back to the old me, where I was going to say that Chicago is our home?" Gabby bit her lip, while looking down as she felt ashamed of that. "I'm sorry Matt." Moving closer to Gabby, Matt proceeded to push her onto her back and then stared down into her eyes. "Hey, look up at me." Gabby agreed with Matt, doing just that for him. After which, Matt bent down and started to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves, his beautiful wife Gabriela Marie Casey, his forever.
And that was why he could tell that she was ashamed of the fact that she didn't know that this is their forever home, not that he could blame her. "Babe, I expected this to tell you the truth; with all of the moving we've done over the years." Gabby agreed with Matt, well aware that was just a fact that they've been dealing with. "But I mean it when I say this, that this is our home; because I have plans here." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, remembering that. "Right, I think I remember that now." Matt smiled as he proceeded to lay down on his side as he looked at his beautiful wife once more. However, Gabby no longer wanted to lay down on her side; but instead wanted to lay down somewhere else. More specifically, she wanted to lay down on her hunky husband's chest. "Back." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that she wants him on his back so that she can cuddle up to him.
So, he did as he was told; he rolled over onto his back for his wife, but only after he spoke to her. "That doesn't mean that you get to take it off." Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that, well aware of just what he was talking about; and that would be her bra, which Matt wanted to take off. "I know, you want to take off my bra for me." Matt agreed with his wife, as that most certainly is the truth. "Don't you know it. So, if you want your bra off; then you better let me do it." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before moving to the side of their bed a bit. "Slip to the center some more." Matt agreed with his wife, as he did as he was told. After which, Gabby got on top of him and straddled his waist as a way to tease her husband on his birthday; and let's just say that Matt loved that she was doing this for him right now. "Oh, now daddy definitely loves this." Gabby agreed with Matt as he sat up for her this morning.
Moving her hands to his chest as he sat up, Gabby smirked as she rubbed it due to the fact that she loves the feeling of her husband's toned chest under her hands; while at the same time, Matt ran his hands up her back as he went ahead and proceeded to do exactly what his beautiful wife wanted him to do for her right now. Which would be to take off her bra so that she was bare-chested, which is something that the birthday boy most definitely wants his wife to be. Matt wants Gabby to be bare-chested as she lays down on his chest and cuddles up to him here on their birthday, which is exactly what she is right now as Matt grabbed her bra strap and undid it. Grabbing her bra, he moved to take it off her shoulders; while Gabby placed her hands on his face and stared into his eyes. And now that was exactly what Matt wanted to have his wife do, as he threw her bra away and put his hands on her back this morning.
Staring into those gorgeous eyes of hers at the same time, Matt smiled as he leaned up and kissed the most beautiful woman in the entire world while taking things nice and slow with her. "God, you are such a tease." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that he thought that she was a tease; but the same could definitely be said for him whenever he walked around in his boxers. "The same can be said for you Mr. Casey, as you walk around our room in your boxers." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, well aware that was the case; after which he took things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams. While at the same time, he laid down on his back with the love of his life on his chest continuing to kiss him even as they laid down. "Now that was hot." Matt agreed with Gabby as he moved his hands to her lower back, before smirking due to the fact that he really loved the action he was getting.
Laying down in bed next to Matt after agreeing to calm things down with him, Gabby smiled as she felt Matt wrap his arm around her back as she laid her head down on his chest; with her ear on top of his heart, Gabby smiled as she took a minute to listen to his heartbeat under hear eat as Matt tugged the covers up on top of the both of them. While at the same time, he ran his hand up and down her back before running his head and kissing her forehead softly. "That was nice." Gabby agreed with Gabby as he said that, well aware that was the case. "And even better, we didn't go too far." Matt agreed with Gabby as he pressed his lips to her forehead once more, while moving his hand to her back and stroking it with his thumb. He then proceeded to turb his head and just looked down the window for a moment to see that it was snowing at the moment, something that he didn't expect to see on his birthday.
"Nothing like one last snow fall on your birthday."
Turning her head to look out the window as well, Gabby smiled as that most certainly was a sight to be seen; the sight of the snow falling onto the ground. "Just curious, are we going to have to shovel the snow?" Matt laughed as Gabby asked him that, before turning his head and looking at his wife. "I have an attachment for my truck." Gabby just looked up at her husband as he said that. "Right, it finally came in." Matt agreed with Gabby, before turning his head and kissing her forehead softly. "That was why I used that second plane. It was a shipping plane, and they brought it right here to our home." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "So, we brought our car in our plane, but you flew your truck in another plane with our other car." Matt thought about it and agreed with Gabby. "That okay?" Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that. "Hey, if I don't have to shovel." Matt snickered.
"Even if we did have to shovel, do you really think that you would be the one shovelling?"
Gabby agreed with her husband. "I'm going to say this, you made the right call in getting your truck here." Matt nodded. "I just wanted to get everything here as soon as we could, that way the press wouldn't get our address. Once they learned we moved out of Hawaii, they might start looking; and they'll look in our hometown of Chicago." Gabby thought about it, which makes this decision even smarter. "Well, now that's smart." Matt agreed. "And even if they did think to look our here, I put it under DAWSON, Matthew, and Gabriela Casey. Using the Hispanic thing. You know, where some people use the first last name." Gabby agreed with Matt. "Now that makes sense." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before turning his head and pressing his lips to her forehead. "If there's one thing I'm going to get right here, it's how I protect our family." Sitting up, Gabby looked down at her husband.
After all, she could clearly see that he was still blaming himself. "I swear to god Matt, you better now still be blaming yourself." Matt sighed as he looked at Gabby. "I mean, can you blame me Gabby? I keep thinking. What if we waited until after we had the kids to go public with the company? Maybe then we wouldn't have been under the media spotlight." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that. "But then, we would be starting in the middle of a pandemic, which would be worse." Matt thought about it, and just agreed with Gabby as that most certainly is the truth. "You're right." Gabby agreed with Matt, as she knew that she was right. She knew that she was right, as she was always right when it came to his; and right now, she just needed to lay down and cuddle up to her man. "By the way, I'm surprised that you didn't go ahead and have sex with me as we got pretty heated there." Matt agreed with Gabby.
But that didn't mean that he wasn't tempted. "Just because I didn't go for it, didn't mean that I wasn't tempted to go for it." Gabby snickered once more, well aware that he was tempted to go for it. "I had a feeling that would be the case." Turning his head, Matt smiled as he looked down at the woman he loves. "Hey, look up at me for a second." Gabby agreed with Matt, as she did just that; meanwhile, he bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt, well aware that he loves her. "I love you too." Matt nodded as he heard Gabby say that, before hearing something fall downstairs; followed by crying. "What was that?" Moving out of the way, Gabby made sure that Matt was able to get out of bed ASAP, which is exactly what he did. He got up out of bed and proceeded to run downstairs (in his boxers) to see what was going on that made one of the kids cry.
Rushing downstairs after hearing one of the kids cry, Matt just got concerned as he didn't know what was happening; that was until he saw his mom holding Bella in her arms, with a little bump on her head. "Shh…it's okay Bella, grandma's here." However, that wasn't the only person that was here for Bella. Rather, he father was here too, and he was going to make sure that he was okay; regardless of what attire he was in right now. "Mom." Turning her head as she heard her son, Nancy got nervous. "What happened?" Nancy just looked at Matt. "I don't know. I just set her down on the couch. Maybe too close to the edge…" Matt just looked at his mother as she said that. "You think you did that, or you know you did that?" Nancy got nervous. "Matt, it was an accident." Just making his way over to his mom, Matt put his hands out as he wanted to hold his daughter. "Here, hand her over." Nancy agreed with her son and did so.
She handed her granddaughter over to her father, as she didn't want to make matters worse as to what she did; meanwhile, Matt brought Bella close to him as he laid her head down on his chest and then kissed the top of her head as he whispered to her. "Sh. It's okay, daddy's right here. He's here." Matt then proceeded to make his way over to the couch, where he was going to sit down with his daughter and try and make her feel better. Sitting down on the couch as he planned to do, Matt just held Bella close to him as he laid her head down on his chest. "So, what exactly happened?" That's when Gabby came downstairs. "Yeah, what happened?" Nancy sighed. "I set her down on the edge of the couch, maybe too close to the edge." Gabby was shocked as she heard Nancy say that. "Sorry, you put one of the girls on the couch!" Matt then looked at his wife. "Gabby…" Turning her head, Gabby glared at Matt.
After which, he just shut up. "You put one of our daughters on the couch, when they are young and don't have the ability to move on their own!" Nancy agreed with her daughter-in-law, ashamed as that was exactly what she did. "Yes." Gabby just shook her head and looked at Nancy, while also making her way over to Matt. "Is she okay?" Looking at his daughter's head, Matt just took a breath. "It just happened, so there wouldn't be anything yet. And she fell on carpet." Gabby just looked at Matt. "Matt, it doesn't matter whether it's carpet or not." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, while also turning his head to look at Bella. He then proceeded to kiss her forehead as he held her close to him. "Was she napping, was she just waking up?" Nancy sighed. "She was going to take a nap. I was moving her from her chair to the crib…" Gabby was shocked. "What crib! The crib is upstairs, she can sleep in it!" Nancy agreed.
Gabby then turned to look at her husband in disbelief, before shaking her head. "And where's my mother?" Nancy sighed. "She's in the bathroom." Camila then came out to hear yelling. "What's going on?" Gabby just looked at her mom. "Well, Nancy here put Bella on the edge of the couch, and she fell down and hit her head." Nancy agreed with Gabby, ashamed of herself. After which, Gabby turned to look at her husband. "Here, give me Bella. I'm going to take her to our room and she's going to relax with us as we sit in bed. She can sleep in her crib in there." Matt just agreed with his wife, giving their daughter to her; while at the same time, Gabby cuddled up to her. "C'mon sweetheart, let's go to bed." Gabby then looked up. "Nancy, please go to your home right now. Matt, grab Sofia and we can take care of the girls. Mom, can you watch the boys for us?" Camila agreed with her daughter. "Of course." Gabby agreed.
After which, she walked away. "Matt, your mom, her home!" Matt agreed with his wife, before getting up and looking at his mom. "Mom…" Nancy agreed, well aware where she needs to go right now. "I know, leave." Matt took a breath as he heard his mom say that, before walking up to her mom. "Hey, come here for a second mom." Nancy agreed with her son as he said that. "Mom, you know I love you right?" Nancy agreed with her son, as she did know that. "Of course, I know that." Matt agreed with his mom. "I'm sorry that this had to happen, we just…" Nancy understood. "Hey, it's okay Matt. I know. Sorry for letting this happen on your birthday." Matt sighed, before hugging his mother once more. "I promise, we can work things out." Nancy agreed with her son, before walking away so that she can go to her home. After which, Matt looked at Camila. "Matt, go be with Gabby and Bella. I got the boys."
Matt agreed with his mother-in-law as she said that, before walking over to Sofia. "I'm still taking Sofia upstairs." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; and that was due to the fact that it was her daughter's wishes that Matt bring Sofia upstairs with him. And that was exactly what he was going to do, as he picked his princess up in his arms. Bringing her close to him afterwards, Matt smiled as he kissed her forehead. "Hi princess, you ready to spend time upstairs with mommy and daddy?" Smiling, Matt proceeded to rub her back as he turned around to make his way back to his and Gabby's room, where he would spend time with his girls on his birthday. And honestly, that was probably what he should've been doing in the first place if he was completely honest.
