Chapter Three Hundred and Sixty-Six
Happy Birthday Daddy, Part Six: It's Okay
Looking down at her daughter as she stood in her and Matt's bedroom, Gabby took a breath due to the fact that she hates how nasty things turned out there; the way she spoke to her mother-in-law was completely inappropriate, and she knew it. She was just mad and worried about her daughter, which is something that both her mother-in-law and husband knew. which is why they weren't going to hold it against her. Especially her husband, as he had some of the same feelings. Deep down, he wanted to say similar words to his mother; but he just knew that it wasn't right for him to say it as her son. Then again, he is the girls' father and that would make it his right to do so. He just has so much on his mind, as did his wife, which is why he knew that this was what they needed right now. They needed time with each other, where it was just him and his girls as they relaxed with one another. He just thought it would be in bed.
But if this is how Gabby wanted to relax, then he would understand and just follow her lead as he didn't care about anything other than the fact that Bella was okay. If Bella was okay, then that would make his birthday amazing. He doesn't need sex on his birthday to be happy, he just needs his wife and children to be happy and safe, which is exactly what they are right now. Gabby's happy that the girls are in the same room as them, as it's what she needs right now; so, Matt was more than okay with that as he wanted to give Gabby what she needs at the moment. And if he needs to share Gabby for that to happen, then that's exactly what the husband and father is going to do. He's going to share his wife with his daughters, whom he loves and wishes the best for anyways. The last thing he wants is for them to be hurt, or for Gabby to be worried about them the entire time that she's in here, which is where Andy comes in.
Now that he's gone to the bathroom, he's going to make sure that he stays here so that he can help them relax, which is something that they both need to do right now, especially after all the drama that just happened out there. But there's something else that Matt needs to do, and that would be to comfort his wife just as soon as he sets Sofia down in her crib, which is precisely what he's in the midst of doing right now, as he walked up to the crib right next to Gabby and laid her down. "There we go princess." And that's when Gabby finally realized that she was no longer alone here in their room, and that Matt was in here too. And that was even more the case as he stood behind her and wrapped his arms around her, which is exactly what she needs at the moment; to be held by the man she loves after all the drama that just happened downstairs with his mother. Which is why she felt like she needed to do something.
She felt like she needed to apologize to her husband, as she knew that she said some things that were wrong. "I'm sorry." Looking at Gabby as he stood behind her, Matt was confused as to just why she was apologizing to him. "Hey, why are you apologizing?" Turning around to face him, Gabby cuddled up to him while wrapping her arms around his back; meanwhile, Matt wrapped his arms around her back as he held his gorgeous wife close to him this morning. "Matt, I yelled at your mom." Matt agreed with Gabby, well aware that she yelled at his mom, which is something that he's okay with due to the fact that he felt like it was warranted. "Gabby, you have nothing to worry about, because had you not done it…I think I would've ended up yelling at my mother." Gabby was a bit surprised as she heard Matt say that. "Really, you would've yelled at your mom?" Matt agreed with Gabby, as he most certainly would have.
This is their daughter that they're talking about, his princess. And that's why he would've yelled at his mom, due to the fact that this is one of his children. "Gabby, we're talking about our kids; the last thing I want is for someone to hurt our children. And if my mom did it, which she did; then I would have no problem yelling at her and asking her to leave. Which is exactly what I did." Gabby was surprised as she heard Matt say that. "You asked her to leave?" Matt sighed. "Ok. I may have just asked her to stay in her home for now, but that's the best I can do in the pandemic." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, really appreciating what he did for her. "Thank you." Moving to grab Gabby's hand, Matt shook his head as she had no need to thank him for what he did; it was the right thing to do as the girls' father. And he would do it all over the fact, regardless of which one of their mothers did it.
"Gabby, you have no need to thank me. And I truly mean that from the bottom of my heart."
Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that, before taking a breath as she needed to relax; and she also needed to just concentrate on what matters the most at the moment. And that would be that the two of them just relax and take it easy with each other right now. "Listen, if you don't want to sit with me and go be with the boys…" Stepping close to Gabby, Matt moved his hands to her neck and leaned in to kiss her softly; while at the same time, she wrapped her arms around his back and kissed him while feeling shocked that he did that. "Don't say another word." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, while also feeling him bend down and pick her up in his arms; something that she wanted him to do more than anything as she leaned in and kissed him softly. After which, she wrapped her arms around his neck as she took things nice and slow with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world.
The man who was currently in the midst of carrying her to their bed, where she was going to cuddle up to him and just relax with him, because that's what she needs to do right now. "No sex, the girls are here." Matt snickered as he heard Gabby say that, well aware that they weren't going to have sex with each other; as the girls were in their room. "Oh, trust me, that's the last thing that I plan on doing with you; I just want to run my hands all over your body." Gabby agreed with Matt. "Can we talk though?" Matt agreed with Gabby as he continued to carry her to bed, all the while kissing her nice and slowly this morning. "Yes." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, while waiting for him to lay her down in bed as that was what she wanted him to do right now. She wanted him to lay her down in bed, ahead of him joining her so that they can hold each other close and just take it nice and easy with each other today.
She decided to take off his shirt which she was wearing after he set her down in bed, as she didn't need to wear it right now; not when she was going to be cuddling up to the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. So, Matt decided that he was going to go put it somewhere she wants it; and that would be on his dresser so that it was easy to access. But in the process of doing so, he also did something that he loves to do; and that would be teasing his beautiful wife by making her watch him walk away from her in his tight boxers (which she also loves to take off). "Oh, now that isn't fair whatsoever!" Matt snickered as he heard Gabby say that, before turning around to look at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "And me having to walk over to you as you're topless in bed is?" Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that. "Well, this is part of my birthday gift to you." Matt smiled and agreed.
After which, he went ahead and grabbed his deodorant so that he could freshen up for the woman he loves; because as much as she says that she doesn't mind him being all stinky, he knows better. And that means that he knows that he needs to fresh up for his wife whenever he gets a chance to do so. "So, are you sure that you aren't mad at me for what I said to your mom?" Matt shook his head, as that wasn't something that he was mad about. "Baby, you had every right to yell at my mother; please don't beat yourself up about it." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I just…" Gabby then tried to think about what she wanted to say, while Matt set his deodorant stick back down on top of his dresser. "I just don't want to create tension in between us." Matt looked at Gabby as she said that she didn't want to create tension in between the both of them.
"Why in the world would you yelling at my mother create tension in between the both of us?"
Gabby just looked at her husband as he said that, deciding to let him play dumb. "Ok. Since it's your birthday, I'm going to let you play dumb. But we both know why, it's due to the fact that it means we're going to be on opposite sides of an argument." Matt shook his head, as that most certainly is not the truth. He would never fault her for being mad at his mother for something like that. "Gabby, don't you dare think that way babe." Gabby sighed, while watching as Matt set his deodorant down and started to walk over to her in those tight boxers that she loves more than anything; because damn are they a real turn on, and exactly what she wants to be staring at as he walked over to her in bed. But right now, she needs to take it easy and just concentrate on him getting in bed. "I want you to hold me when you're in bed." Matt agreed with Gabby, as that was exactly what he planned on doing anyways.
He was going to hold the woman he loves in bed, as they just relaxed and took it easy with each other. "Baby, do you really think that I would do anything other than hold you in my arms today?" Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that. "I mean, my wife is topless in bed on my birthday. If anything, I want to do that more than anything right now." Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that, while watching as he opened the covers and proceeded to climb into bed with her; after which he got nice and close to her, which is exactly what she wanted him to do. She wants to cuddle up to her loving husband, as they hold each other close and just take it easy in bed right now. "I have to say, I'm glad that we're in bed again." Matt agreed with is wife as she said that, as he feels the same way; especially when this is where he's needed at the moment. He needs to be in bed with her, as he makes her feel better.
"This is where you need me anyways. You need me to make you feel better.,"
Gabby snickered as she heard Matt say that, while cuddling up to him; meanwhile Matt tugged the covers on top of the both of them to keep her warm. "Sorry ahead of time if this puts you in a bad spot with your mom." Matt shook his head as he heard Gabby say that, as that was the last of his concerns; and what was due to the fact that she's his wife. She's the woman he loves, and the woman he made vows to love and support forsaking all others. And that was what he was going to remind his wife, the fact that he made vows to love and support her; but only after he tugged her gorgeous body against his chest and made sure that she stayed close to him. "OK. Can you please stop moving away from me now? I want to have you right against me like this." Gabby agreed with Matt, as that most certainly is something that she can do for her birthday boy husband; she can stay nice and close to her man.
"Baby, of course I can stay close to you; as I want to be held nice and close by my loving husband."
Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, as that most certainly is exactly what he is, he's her loving husband who loves her more than life itself; he will always choose her, without any regrets. "I hope you know that you're my whole world." Gabby snickered as she heard Matt say that. "You mean me, and the kids are your whole world." Matt agreed with his gorgeous wife as she said that, as that most certainly was the truth. Her and the kids are his whole world and will always be his whole world. "You'll always be my whole world, and I am proud of that fact." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before getting close to him; after which, she leaned in and kissed the man she loves softly. Putting her hands on his face, Gabby smiled as she took things nice and slow with her husband, who at the same time wrapped his arms around her back and moved so that he was leaning over her as he kissed her nice and slowly.
And let's just say that was exactly what Gabby wanted, simply due to the fact that it was what he wanted; Matt is the birthday boy after all. And if this is what he wants to do at the moment, then Gabby is more than okay with doing this with him. "Ok. We need to calm down and talk about what I just did some more." Matt shook his head. "No, we don't as that will be what creates tension between the both of us. Gabby, I love you more than anything; and I know that you did the right thing as I would've done the same thing. That's all we need to worry about right now, that we are on the same page when it comes to what happened." Gabby agreed with Matt, as she most certainly does love the fact that they're on the same page. So much so, that he wanted to do something; and that would be to do something that would help his wife relax. "I want to show you that." Gabby laughed, while smirking at Matt.
"We are not having sex when our daughters are just over there in their cribs."
Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that. "Wouldn't be the first time we did it." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before putting her hands on his face once more; she then took things nice and slow with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "God, that was fun when the boys were young. But that's not what we're going to do this time." Matt shook his head. "No, we aren't." Gabby just looked at Matt as he said that, as she was confused as to just what her husband was talking about then. "Then what are you talking about?" Matt smirked as he looked at Gabby, before kissing her softly one more time this morning.
She made sure that the water was warm as she ran a bath for her and Matt, a bath that most certainly was exactly what she needed right now; she needed to take a bath with her husband, as it would allow her to relax and just take it easy with her husband on his birthday. But not that type of easy, as that was something that was reserved for later; maybe. She isn't too sure whether she and Matt are going to have sex with each other tonight, due to the fact that they had their daughters in here. Had their daughters not been here, then maybe she would be more open to having sex with her husband. The man she loves more than anything in the entire world, and her whole world. But right now, she just needed something else; and that would be to lay down in Matt's arms as they took a bath with each other. And that most certainly is something that Matt knew as he walked up behind her and put his hands on her shoulders.
He then bent down and kissed the top of her head, as he started to give her a massage while they both held each other close and made sure that they are both really happy right now. "How are you feeling now that we're in here?" Turning her head to look up at her husband, Gabby smiled as she already felt better. "I feel better already, somewhat. Doesn't mean it's not on my mind the entire time." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, before putting his hand out as he wants her to get up; and that's exactly what Gabby did. She got up and turned around to face her husband, while also stepping close to her dreamy husband. Putting her hands on his chest, Gabby smiled as she leaned in and kissed him softly. "This is a good idea." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before letting her go and moving to set his fresh pair of boxers down on the counter. "I just want to let you know; this doesn't need to be my outfit."
Looking at Matt as he said that, Gabby already knew exactly what he was talking about; that he didn't need to only wear his boxers in bed. "If you want me to wear sweats, then I can do that for you." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that, before sighing as she looked at her husband; she then started to relax as he wrapped his arms around her. Meanwhile, Gabby put her hands on his arms and looked up at the man she loves. "I think we need to relax. I know it's your birthday, but I am just…" Gabby sighed as she looked at Matt, who soon stepped close to her and put his hands on her neck. He then proceeded to kiss her forehead as they both held each other close. "We can relax, as we hold each other close in bed and just ensure that everything is okay. I don't want you to get too stressed out when it comes to everything." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that, well aware that was the case.
She then hugged him due to the fact that she was happy that they're getting in the bath with each other, as it's exactly what they need to do right now. She needs to get in the bath with the man she loves, as she relaxes and just breathes with him. "Listen, how about I check on the bath and then you can get in." Matt laughed as he looked at his wife. "Baby, don't you trust me?" Gabby then realized that. "Right, of course I do." Matt agreed with Gabby, before moving to hug her; meanwhile Gabby wrapped her arms around him and just held her husband close to her, as he pressed his lips to her forehead once more. "This is what you need right now, isn't it?" Gabby agreed with her husband, as she most definitely needs this right now. "This is what I need to do with you, and I am grateful that this is what we're doing." Matt shook his head as she doesn't need to be grateful for anything, this is just what she needs right now.
"Baby, I'll do whatever I can to make sure that you're okay. And right now, you need to take a bath with me."
Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "And I can't wait to take a bath with you, as you give the best massages." Matt agreed with Gabby, well aware that was the case. "And that's exactly what I'm going to give you while we're sitting in the bath with each other, as I want to give you the world." Gabby nodded, as that most certainly is something that he's always done. "And you've always done that. And someday, you're going to give me my dream honeymoon trip." Matt was confused as he heard Gabby say that, while watching as his wife got close to him and proceeded to grab his towel. "How about you get in the bath, and we can talk about it when I'm in the bath with you?" Gabby then proceeded to take off her husband's towel, before walking away so that she could hang up the towel on the hook. "Now, that most certainly is the biggest tease." Gabby laughed, as that was the biggest lie.
Turning around, Gabby looked at the man she loves. "Well, I think we both know that's a lie." Gabby then proceeded to take off her robe, which made Matt smirk. "I'm going to get in the bath." Gabby agreed with her loving husband as he said that, as that was exactly what she wanted him to do. "Good idea." Matt agreed with Gabby, before getting in the bath for her; meanwhile, Gabby proceeded to make her way to the bubble bath that she was going to enjoy with the man she loves. "You like the bubbles?" Matt agreed with Gabby. "I don't recall a time where we had a bubble bath." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before stepping into the bath with the man she loves. After which, she sat down in his lap and moved to lean against his chest; wrapping her arms around his torso shortly after leaning against her loving husband's muscular chest, Gabby smiled as she got comfortable in his arms right now.
Meanwhile, Matt wrapped his arm around Gabby's back before turning his head and kissing her forehead softly. "I think that this is what you need right now." Turning her head to look up at Matt, Gabby agreed with him as she rubbed his chest; after which, he looked down and smiled at the most beautiful woman in the entire world. Bending down, Matt smirked as he proceeded to kiss his beautiful wife more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as she loves him too. "I love you too, and I am so glad that this is what we decided to do. This is exactly what I need, and I just need some time right now; time where I can relax with you and the girls." Matt agreed with his wife, which is exactly what they're going to do. "I promise that we're going to do just that, while I also give you a nice massage and everything." Gabby smiled as she loved the idea of getting a massage.
A massage that her loving husband was going to give to her, as they relaxed in bed with each other. "So, what are we going to be wearing in bed?" Matt looked down at Gabby as she asked him that question, well aware that she was worried when it came to what he was going to wear. "I'm not sure what you want me to wear, but I do want to make sure that you're happy. If you want me to wear sweats as we talk about it, then we can…" Gabby shook her head. "I don't want to talk about it, I want a distraction." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, as that most certainly is something that he can do for her. "Then I most certainly can give you a distraction. What are you thinking?" Gabby sighed. "I want to talk about business." Matt was shocked as he heard Gabby say that. "Excuse me?" Turning her head, Gabby looked up at her husband. "I need a real distraction." Matt agreed with his wife, more than okay with that.
Turning his head, Matt then proceeded to kiss her forehead once more. "Baby, I promise that we're going to talk; if that's what you need, then it's exactly what we're going to do. Plus, we do need to talk about the new headquarters idea." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as that was something that she wants. She wants to talk about the headquarters idea, while also turning her head and looking up at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I like the fact that we're going to be bringing a lot of jobs here in the Chicago area." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, as that most certainly is something that he's interested in. He wants to bring jobs here to Chicago, which is something that they are both interested in. "Still, I wonder whether we're going to be stretching ourselves too thin; because we have a lot of staff everywhere." Gabby agreed with her husband, well aware that was true.
"Yet at the same time, we need to think about what we can do with having those other offices at the moment as it means that we have a lot of people employed, during a time where they aren't guaranteed jobs. With us, they're guaranteed jobs."
Matt nodded as Gabby say that, while kissing the top of her head as they both held each other close as they relaxed with each other here in the bath. "So, back to what you want me to wear. Sweats or boxers?" Gabby thought about it. "Let's get dressed again, as I want to relax and just take it easy with you." Matt agreed with Gabby as he ran his hand up and down her back as a way to make sure that they did that, while they sat here in the bath. "I think that sounds like a great way to spend my birthday." Gabby agreed with her husband as hey said that, while also cuddling up to him. "By the way, we sold our other homes; right?" Matt agreed. "What other homes?" Turning her head, Gabby looked up at her husband. "This is our home." Gabby agreed with Matt, while he bent down and kissed the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt, as she smiled at her man.
The man she's absolutely crazy for, who just so happens to also be the father of her children, as well as the love of her life. "Later, I think we should go spend some time in the sauna." Gabby shook her head. "In the future, not yet. I want to just relax in bed with my man as I rub his chest." Matt looked down at Gabby as she said that. "I thought that you wanted me to wear a shirt." Turning her head, Gabby looked up at the man she loves; while he wrapped his arm around her back and pressed his lips against her forehead while whispering to her. "How about you just lay down on my chest and relax right now baby?" Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that, before doing just that as she cuddled up to Matt in the bath right now as that's exactly what she wants to do right now as they relaxed in the bath. She wanted to lay her head down on his chest, as they both held each other in the bath this morning.
