91. Kesagiri Man

A.N. — Happy April Fool's Day! This chapter isn't a prank (though the summary is deliberately misleading), but hopefully it functions like a joke and delivers a laugh line, along with giving me a chance to make some nods to fanon. It's also the first of four straight characters who share April 4 for their birthday. Who will actually nab the date? You'll find out soon!

91. Kesagiri Man

Kesagiri Man was covered in black fur. Hawks' had his trademark red feathers. Outside them both being pros, there wasn't much linking them... except for one idiosyncrasy:

Squabbles broke out when fried chicken was involved. Every person who'd ever worked with either of them knew not to interfere.

The fights between Kesagiri Man and Hawks over the last drumstick in a bucket were so legendary that they had spilled from chatter at agencies to hero forums to the trending section of HeroTube. Kesagiri Man wasn't repentant — depriving the "cannibal" Hawks of his favorite food was his perpetual, self-imposed mission.
