A.N. — Bad guys sometimes win. For this story, that means the main antagonist gets to keep his birthday. This little old lady has to celebrate a day early then. Even though she's an easy target for fandom's ire, I still wish Chiyo Shuuzenji a happy birthday.

93. Chiyo Shuzenji/Recovery Girl

The Youthful Heroine's time was running short (and no, that wasn't a self-deprecating joke at her height). Soon, Recovery Girl wouldn't be around to heal all that ailed both UA and the wider world of heroics.

The current generation had grown too reliant on the safety net she provided, and no one among the current ranks (pro or student) has stepped forward as her successor. Saving people in the field was flashy; fixing them up off-site didn't garner the same publicity. Until the whippersnappers realized that gratitude - not fame - was the best reward, Chiyo would tenaciously hang on.
