95. Nao Shimura
Nao Shimura was the homemaker of a broken home.
She cherished her son, but couldn't honestly say her husband felt the same. Kotaro had been abandoned by his mother and was now alienating his own family in turn. Nao, though, would never stop being there for Tenko and Hana, even if that meant supporting them over her spouse.
When Kotaro turned violent toward Tenko, Nao realized her rhetoric had been empty. Showing compassion after the fact, placating rather than problem-solving... it did nothing to repair the widening rift in the Shimura household. Through inaction, Nao was as culpable as Kotaro.
