A.N. — Speaking of missed birthdays, here is the partner to yesterday's bad guy. As both were minor characters in the third movie, they escaped my notice. And now they have canon birthdays (this guy's was January 26), through a limited edition manga released as a tie-in with screenings of the film. So, better late than never.

115. Bomb Villain

Being defeated by explosion stung the Bomb Villain — much more than the burns from that grenade-clad punk.

Dazzling people with showmanship was his shtick. The public found his flashy yet nefarious activates easier to swallow when they were being treated to a show while being robbed blind. Between his incendiary day-glo purple afro and fashion-forward style, the Bomb Villain was well-known — and overconfident because of it. Used to showing off for witnesses during getaways, he was unprepared for actual heroic intervention from someone with bigger, more versatile blasts. That deflation of pride hurt worst of all.
