A.N. — It's time to return to the right side of the law. As I feared, the villains didn't bring in the viewers. So, hopefully this "reserved but friendly individual" brings the readers back... even if he's dead. And if this drabble focuses on a rather grim moment.

118. En

The actual act of transferring One for All was easy; Daigoro's blood liberally stained the debris pinning him. Accepting the quirk, though, weighed heavy upon En.

He wasn't cut from the same cloth as a hero like Lariat. Smokescreen was weaker and less versatile than Blackwhip. En was certain adding a power stockpile to the mix wasn't going to drastically even the playing field. But En was also a resolute soul: he could not, in good conscience, refuse a dying man's last offering. So he inherited a power, and a grudge. En knew he had the will to withstand both.

A.N. 2 — I haven't mentioned this nearly as much in this collection as I did my Harry Potter one, but the character list here is lacking a lot of the names I thought would be on it. En isn't there, either under his own name or as the Sixth One For All user. At least he's listed as the latter on AO3.
