A.N. — Happy early birthday to Mawata Fuwa, one of the few UA students outside of the first year we get to meet (though her quirk is unknown). She's also the first female character featured since Mandalay. May as a whole is kinda light on the fairer sex, unfortunately.
129. Mawata Fuwa
Aizawa's expulsion (and subsequent re-enrollment) of his entire class was infamous. Mawata Fuwa, though, had personally lived through it.
She knew most saw her superficially: airheaded and weak at best or a future liability in the field at worst. Mawata was sure Aizawa had filed her in the latter category. Her quirk wasn't suited for the apprehension test, and she'd also been quite chatty with her classmates; both earned his ire.
But now, as a member of Class 2-A, Mawata was stronger but more subdued. She'd carry that perceived mark of failure with her as motivation into her hero career.
A.N. 2 — My first drabble idea that I discarded focused on Mawata's unique looks, with the baby pink hair and the sky/space motif in her eyes and accessories. But that felt too pedestrian, so I went a bit darker and deeper.
