A.N. — World Heroes Mission apparently took place back in February, so I need to take care of some of those characters from the third movie without canon birthdays. Strangely enough, most of the villains have canon birthdays, while the civilians don't. This guy, though, is an unwilling bit of both.
144. Alan Kay
Alan was a scientist, not a hero. But when you not only helped create the potentially world-ending crisis, but also held the sole means to stopping it, well... needs must.
One trigger bomb being detonated was enough to force Alan's hand. He knew he'd be painting an inescapable target on his back, but still he ran. He'd already lost an eye, and now he might lose his family, but by making the choice to flee his kidnappers, he was basically signing his death warrant anyway. He had to trust his (and everyone else's) safety to an innocuous-looking briefcase.
