168. Lunch Rush

A.N. — Yesterday's chapter was one of my favorite in the entire collection. So today's star has a high bar to reach. Lucky for me, there's not a ton of known info on this hero, so I get to build a short profile of him without worrying overmuch about whether I'm adhering to canon. Happy birthday to chef extraordinaire Lunch Rush!

168. Lunch Rush

Lunch Rush was the very definition of a support hero. The meals he made fueled the heroic deeds of others. Yet actual recognition as a hero in his own right rarely happened. People praised his culinary talents, but acknowledgement as a working Pro who'd earned his position through a lot of hard work and training was scarce.

He didn't seek the spotlight, but some credit where credit was due would really buoy Lunch Rush's spirits. Diners left his cafeteria with empty plates, smiling faces and full bellies, but they never seemed to bother looking beyond Lunch Rush's mask and toque.
