A.N. — I had penned this guy in at the end of the year originally, due to his name. But I decided to place him as near as the calendar would allow to a character he interacted in canon with prominently. He also connects to the last two chapters, just a bit. An no, this isn't the actual end of this story.
176. Ending
Ending had been sent to prison by Endeavor; it was the nicest thing the hero had ever done to him. Killing him would be kinder, but Ending still hadn't managed to rile up Endeavor enough for that to happen yet.
Upon his release, Ending found out Endeavor was now No. 1 and it only motivated him further. Shooting up Trigger and kidnapping Endeavor's son finally got Ending the attention he'd so desperately been after. But seeing the belligerent Flame Hero letting his interns handle the battle in his place, then actually apologizing to his offspring broke Ending's mind even more.
