A world with quirks means its people are wind up rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Mina Ashido is a vivacious hero in training. She's equally enthusiastic about her classmates' love lives.

186. Christopher Skyline (Captain Celebrity)

A.N. — This hero has his birthday yesterday, but got bumped to here. As he is a Vigilantes-only character, I am not too familiar with him. But he fits an archetype, so that's what I'll play with. Happy late birthday, Christopher Skyline (whose name I deliberately don't mention in the actual drabble).

186. Christopher Skyline/Captain Celebrity

In an industry overrun with pretentious monikers, Captain Celebrity took the cake. The name, and the man behind it, embodied all that was flawed with heroics at one time or another. Because he craved attention, critics said he was only in it for the fame. Victims from poorer areas accused him of only responding to conflicts in well-trafficked areas. Still others found fault with his being popular from the start because he'd been born with good looks and the perfect quirk for the job.

When asked to refute these claims, only then did Captain Celebrity become a shrinking violet.
