A.N. — Long note, sorry (it, too, is exactly 100 words). First, the posting got pushed back due to AO3 being offline because of a DDoS attack. In retrospect, I'm lucky I got my posting done yesterday in the intermittent uptime the site had. As for today... the first movie takes place in July, so one of its characters was a natural here. A lot of movie-only characters, actually, wound up in July. To me, this guy seemed too timid for his eventual turn. I also didn't mention this character's much more famous coworker so his ego would justify his deeds.
192. Samuel Abraham
Innovators came to I-Island on the hunt for the cutting edge. The endless pursuit of breakthroughs had once driven Samuel Abraham, too. But the impenetrable walls of secrecy and steel ensured nothing got in or out unless allowed. The powers that be deemed his masterpiece a threat, so Samuel took on a less idealistic mission.
Stealing what was rightfully his wasn't theft at all to Samuel; it was simply balancing the scales. He'd poured time and effort into his scientific discoveries; he was just reclaiming his invention. The world deserved to be informed of his device's impacts — and his genius.
