195. Hiryu Rin (Long Weizi)

A.N. — The main character of the series is tomorrow, so I feel rather sorry for today's birthday guy. Not just for that, but also because he's a foreigner in a land where they aren't always readily accepted. But he does have a really well-rounded quirk, and a mien suited for heroism. Happy birthday, Hiryu Rin!

195. Hiryu Rin/Long Weizi

Hiryu Rin viewed his Scales quirk as the optimum way to balance the scales.

If protection was needed, he could come in armored up to weather the blows for them. If a villain was entrenched, Hiryu could rapid-fire his scales to drive them out. No matter the situation, Long Weizi had a solution.

But trying to compare his reptilian quirk to others with similar powers always left Hiryu feeling less confident. Ryukyu could fully become a dragon. Fellow first-years Tetsutetsu and Kirishima had superior hardening. But Hiryu had perseverance; he'd accept nothing less than putting forth his best.
