197. Mirio Togata (Lemillion)

A.N. — I didn't want such a cheerful guy to have a bummer of a drabble by focusing on him losing his quirk (as was my first instinct). So I had to look toward his development into the character we know. Happy birthday, Mirio Togata! Too bad your birthday gets overshadowed by your kouhai.

197. Mirio Togata/Lemillion

Hoping to save a million people (and building his hero persona around it) was ambitious. But then, Mirio already knew he was a foolish optimist for taking an offbeat quirk like Permeation and attempting to become a hero with it.

The crazy thing was, it was working.

No longer known as the sports festival streaker, now Mirio was in UA's Big Three and garnering comparisons to All Might even before graduating. Part of that was interning under Sir Nighteye, but it was also just Mirio's sunny disposition. Stepping into danger with a smile was essential for a symbol of peace.
