A world with quirks means its people are wind up rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Mina Ashido is a vivacious hero in training. 200. Yoichi Shigaraki

A.N. — Chapter 200 deserves a big name, and lucky for me, there are no birthdays falling on his date. So I was free to pick from all the characters without canon birth dates. Problem was, I wanted to do a good guy, but most of the folks without canon birthdays are villains. So I chose to put two One for All users in the same month.

200. Yoichi Shigaraki

Yoichi should've known something was up with his brother when he favored Demon King over Captain Hero. They were only kids, and it was just a comic series, but that ideological schism only widened as they aged.

When quirks came to the fore, and Yoichi was presumed to lack one, the elder Shigaraki finally made his true intentions plain. It galvanized the supposedly powerless younger brother to try and stop his elder sibling. But only in Yoichi's passing did he finally succeed in forever thwarting the so-called All For One. Passing (or, rather, transferring), it transpired, was Yoichi's power.
