203. Tensei Ida (Ingenium)

A.N. — I had a run of five straight 'S' characters going on, but that was broken today. Speaking of broken... this hero certainly qualifies. Getting the chance to examine the recovery process through the eyes of a hero recuperating from a severe injury was too tempting to pass up. So happy birthday, Tensei Ida. Sorry I couldn't give you a more uplifting drabble.

203. Tensei Ida/Ingenium

The Hero Killer hadn't ended Tensei's life, but he had cut short his career.

It was impossible to be the Turbo Hero when his legs refused to shift into gear. Tensei had been proud to bear the mantle of Ingenium. Now, he had to come to grips with having to pass the title on long before he'd been prepared to.

The Idaten agency would carry on without him taking an active role in its leadership. He had a bevy of sidekicks under him for a reason. But his brother would wind up carrying the heaviest burden... if he accepted it.
